Best place to stay for a girls trip to Roundtop!

Great location, 15 minutes from Roundtop. Adorable farm, great outdoor space to eat under twinkling lights and swim. Brent and family made us an amazing 3 course dinner. Couldn’t have been a nicer host. Would stay again!

Round Top w the girls!

This is our second Round Top staying at the ranch. It’s the absolute best and will never stay anywhere else! Highly recommend! The best is having an amazing dinner waiting for you after a day of shopping w your crew. Only 15 minutes away from it all!

Beautiful Property

My friend and I came down to shop at Round Top. We stayed in the Cabin, and it was lovely! It was clean, peaceful, and there were lots of precious animals to interact with! The property manager was very responsive and gifted us with their delicious sourdough bread and honey! Highly recommend.

Nice surprise for extended family near Round Top

Cabin felt private, comfortable, delivered meals were delicious, friendly, kind staff that were great communicators, plenty to do outside, no problem with internet (can be an issue in this area). Convenient location that was easy to find. Absolutely would return!

We had a the best time at Milk and Honey Farm!! The accommodations were so comfortable and clean. They spoiled us with the yummy bread and Honey and the frame tour the next morning! Everything felt like a luxury and a bonus!! thank you Brent for making our stay amazing!!

Fabulous Roundtop Weekend

Brent, his family and staff were amazing to us. We stayed for a long weekend shopping the Roundtop Antique Show. It was so relaxing to come back to the farm at the end of the day, to have a beautiful dinner waiting for us. The farm is really quite special. So many things to do or just sit back and enjoy the scenery. You feel at home and they honestly have everything you would ever need or want. We couldn't get enough of the homemade sourdough bread, fresh daily. Our meals were also from the farm, like the yummy butter chicken! Such a special place that everyone puts their heart and sole into. I would love to visit again soon. I am going to bring my husband and kiddos next time. Thank you agian for a wonderful stay.

A Unique and Surprising Texas Ranch Experience

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed staying in The Cabin at the Milk and Honey Ranch. This part of Central Texas is beautiful country with hardwood forests and lush farms and ranches in every direction. This property was built over the past two years to be a self-sustaining farm with world class amenities for visitors. The photos you see in the listing can't represent how nice this place really is. The pool is gorgeous with an attached hottub. An amazing physical fitness room overlooks the pool. A sports court is by the fitness center to play tennis, pickle ball and basketball. The lake is stocked with fish and there is watersports equipment. On top of all that, there are farm animals you can visit. We saw baby goats, baby pigs and baby quail. Brent Phillips was a terrific host and gave us a guided tour of the property in his big golf cart. We then had the use of the golf cart for our entire stay. Brent also built a fire in our firepit so we could make S'mores. The breakfasts were fantastic and we brought back some of the fresh baked bread they delivered to us. Our family guests from Minnesota couldn't believe how nice this place is. The Texas wildflowers were the icing on the cake. If you have young children or grandkids they will never forget this experience. We feel so lucky to have found the Ranch. Soon, Brent will have casitas by the lake and a Beach Club. We told him we'll come again to stay by the lake and I think the fishing action will be awesome.

2 years ago, I bought a piece of land and moved my family from the suburbs to begin an entirely new way of life... and start a farm from scratch! Even though we knew nothing about farming, I wanted my kids to know more than just technology and shopping. I believed that if we could change our style of living, surrounded by and engaging with creation, it will bring us closer together and make us far more grateful. It has done exactly that and even more than I imagined.

We find great joy in sharing all we have learned with others and taking every opportunity to allow our guests to experience it for themselves.
