Feel free to enjoy a run, walk or bike ride in the community. If going to Ocean City, MD beaches, you are approx. 7-9 miles drive. Ocean Pines also has a ferry that goes back and forth to Ocean City for a nice ride via the Assawoman Bay! We do offer bike rentals in 2025. Inquire with host as they are first come first serve.

Close to wineries, Assateague Island, theme parks, boat rentals, shopping, movies and some of the best restaurants around. Rental agreement and check in form must be completed before reservation is considered secure! Thank you! .

Cute and Comfortable

This was a great rental for our family vacation! Upon arrival we had a bag filled with freshly laundered sheets for the beds and towels. The beds all had comforters on them but I would recommend to bring your own pillows and comforters, if you don’t want to use the ones provided. We ordered dinner our first night from the Pines Public House, which was delicious! We were a less than 20 minute drive to Ocean City beaches and less than 15 minutes to Berlin, which had lots of cute shops, restaurants and history. We enjoyed the screened in porch every evening enjoying drinks and playing family games with our kids. There is a trail for riding bikes or enjoying a morning or evening walk. The outdoor shower was very nice too! We brought our own coffee maker but there is one available and the amenities states there is a dishwasher but there’s not. Overall, it was clean and very comfortable and relaxing! Great location!

Pretty neighborhood , but not a good experience

Look at itemized charges before you commit. There's a service fee that's a much as the rental! 3 seperate taxes, unexplained. A cleaning fee and they expect the renters to do the cleaning! Cleaning supplies were almost out. There was not even a1/4 roll of toilet paper in the whole house. I would've canceled but i rented only a week before our stay. They require 30 days. They didn't supply an address, when I asked several times, to plan my trip. We had to find the agency online and call the office. I was in my car ready to leave when we finally got it. Communication was terrible. The house was pleasant though. Comfortable.

Wonderful location! Subpar rental.

This rental was in a great location for many activities in the area including Ocean City, Berlin, Assateague. This home was clean enough to stay in, but was not thoroughly cleaned and had not been for some time. The musty smell was apparent upon arrival. The bedrooms had comfortable beds, but the furniture was old and in serious need of dusting. The ceiling fans, which had to be used the initial evening were also covered in dust. We did no cooking in this rental as the available pots and pans were in a cabinet that was so unorganized one would need to dig through it to find what they needed. The coffee maker and toaster also appeared to be quite old. Additionally, the liquid ant traps on the counters were off putting. There was also no toilet paper and only 1/2 a roll of paper towels on our arrival. Note there is a significant cleaning fee for this rental. The many texts and emails regarding the check in and check out were unnecessary, and many of the emails had apparent links that did not work. Very disappointing.

Problematic

This property is absolutely adorable and in a wonderful location. However, the mildew smell was overpowering and most definitely unhealthy. The air conditioning of this home is controlled by a nest and could not be changed. So, every time we left the property the air conditioner went into an away mode and reset to 78 degrees. Therefore we were unable to improve the air quality. The strong mildew smell came home with us in our suitcases and clothing. A mildew abatement plan needs to be put in place immediately, or in my opinion this property should not be rented. The kitchen is in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. The silverware drawer was dirty and there were small ants on the kitchen counters since the traps had clearly not been replaced. The amenities list needs to be updated as there is no dishwasher. The rental book and departure instructions also listed a dishwasher and dumpster for garbage. Again neither exists. We put the trash cans out when we saw all the neighbors doing it. If these cleanliness concerns are addressed this could be a wonderful rental property.
