Strap on your skis and head out the door to the Sugar Mountain slopes in the winter, and spend warm months discovering the area’s many hiking and mountain biking trails, along with state parks, wineries, breweries, and charming small towns like Banner Elk, four miles away.

At the condo itself, grab some coffee and step out to the balcony to see skiers heading up the mountain on the chairlift each morning. Inside, you’ll find a cozy cabin vibe, with soaring ceilings, a gas fireplace, and abundant natural light. The full kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, and there’s room for the whole family around the dining table at mealtime.

Spend days adventuring and nights sipping hot cocoa in front of the fire while you stream the latest release or use the free WiFi to post pics to social media. Toss the day’s clothes in the washer/dryer for a quick refresh before bed - another dreamy day on the slopes awaits tomorrow.

Excellent location and accommodations

Condo was clean and well supplied. Easy access to slopes. Bedding and starter paper products as advertised, would definitely recommend this location and unit. Minor problem upon arrival with upstairs toilet was fixed quickly by management company.

Great slope view

This was a great place to stay when skiing with little kids that need access to the easier slopes. It had enough room and was very clean. It could use a few simple updates (keurig, new dining room chairs) but none of that really hindered our stay. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans and utensils needed to cook in the unit. We would stay here again.

Smaller than expected

Pictures make this condo look much bigger than it was, A little disappointing. Really small kitchen, small living space, outdated appliances and overall feel. Fireplace didn’t work but they sent a repairman out the next day which was nice. They let us check in cpl hours early which was nice also. Vacasa is a nice company but I won’t be renting this condo again.

Great Location

Continue is right on the mountain by the green slope. It’s perfect! We walked right over to ski. Best part was watching everyone ski down the mountain from our deck and windows. Place was very clean and kitchen had tons of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. No spices, garbage bags or paper towel though. The only issue we had was no sheets provided on the bunk beds. We talked with management and they apologized and told us their team would bring them to us Friday night but they never did. Management reached out on Saturday and said they would be coming before bedtime but nothing ever came. It was frustrating and crazy that someone wouldn’t take care of that. Not a fan of our kids sleeping on bare mattresses. I hope they don’t do this to someone else.

Condo management is awful!!!!

I booked 2 condos and was assured by Vacasa (which is the management company) that the condos were in the same building, which they were not. When we arrived to check in the lock box code was incorrect, so they sent another code, and it was also wrong. They had to send the maintenance man to bring a key with the correct code. The condo is dated which I expected from the pictures, and I don't have a problem with. But the bed linens were not clean, so we washed them before sleeping that night. I emailed and text Vacasa asking someone to please call me because I was not happy, they never responded. I never heard from them until I received the check-out email asking how my stay was. I just feel like the condo owner needs to know how this management company treats the customers.

Perfect home for our family of 6 visiting sugar mountain for the first time. You can see the base where the ski school is located and watch as people load onto the ski lift. There is a very short path to a wooden bridge that crosses a babbling creek over to the slope making this a nice ski out to your room. One of the three bridges is broken, but the one close to the condo is fine. (not sure if you can hop on and off this way but can definitely take a break and ski off the slopes) the two first floor bedrooms were nice and big w very comfy mattresses. The two bunk beds in the upstairs room made it fun for the kids to sleep in although our two youngest ended up sleeping on the pullout couch in the living room instead so they can watch tv. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking. No condiments except salt and pepper but no worries as the food lion is about 7-10 minutes drive from the condo (would recommend maybe seeing what’s in the condo before going out to make your grocery shopping). A few standard restaurants within 10 minute drive, we liked the town tavern. They provide a starter kit (small sponge, dish soap, 2 packets of dish washing powder, one laundry detergent, two small sets of shampoo/conditioner/small bar of soap, one roll of paper towel, 2 trash bags, 4 rolls of toilet paper). Nice tall ceilings in the living room made it feel roomie. Plenty of sitting areas, table for 6 for dining. Board games and puzzles. Would stay again!

Amazing slope front home!

We loved the location of this property and the coziness and charm! Our kids enjoyed the puzzles and board games when they weren’t walking to the slopes right across the bridge and we enjoyed the cozy fireplace for evening cocktails and mimosas! I sat on the balcony and watched my kids come down the slope and we even got to enjoy some real snow! There was plenty of room for a family of five and the home is well equipped. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Slope side rental

Great rental. Spent Thurs-Friday with 5 guys skiing and hanging out. Lots of space in the bedrooms. Small bridge over the creek and you’re on the slopes. Kitchen is small but adequate. Can’t beat the convenience.

Great! though not perfect

This being our first time at this location, since we arrived early the first day we just parked and went skiing. Later, when we checked in, we were astonished to learn that we'd been skiing right next to the condo all afternoon! Location: perfect. There was a small problem with the key code, which was resolved with one phone call, and some minor cleaning issues, like only one dishwasher tablet provided. Overall though, the cleanliness was good and the layout and amenities provided terrific for the 6 of us staying there.

Great location and clean

The location is perfect, you really can ski-in/out and the chair lifts are right there. The condo was clean and provided pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. everything we needed to cook. The gas fireplace was also nice!

Ski Weekend

The condo was clean and located right at the chairlift and walking distance to the lodge . great view of the ski slope and a legit ski in ski out. Renters provided everything towels sheets soap etc
