Welcome to our mountain home! With amazing views, an upscale interior, and a furnished deck, this newly constructed 2019 home is the perfect getaway for your next trip to Colorado's high country! Complete with three bedrooms, 3.5 custom bathrooms, and spacious living areas, this vacation rental is the ideal home away from home. Summer visitors will enjoy mountain biking, hiking, rafting, and ziplining only minutes away. Winter skiing and boarding is conveniently located only 18 miles away.

Location, location, location!! Our home is located in Clear Creek County between Idaho Springs and Georgetown in the Silver Lakes community with easy access to I-70. We are about 20 minutes from Loveland Ski Area, 30-40 minutes to Winter Park & Arapahoe Basin, and not much further from the big Summit County Ski areas. During the summer months we are within minutes of several rafting companies that offer whitewater trips for every adventurer! If mountains are your calling, we have two 14ers - Gray's & Torrey's Peaks, Mt. Bierstadt, and Mt. Blue Sky are within an easy drive from our home. During fall the scenic drive up Guanella Pass cannot be beat! Restaurants and shopping are within easy access in Georgetown, Idaho Springs, or at the Outlets in Silverthorne.


THE SPACE
This 1800 sf custom home offers an ideal home-base for folks seeking a get-away or a convenient point of access between Denver and the high country. Consisting of three levels that offer privacy as well as common areas the home features an attached heated garage, a fully fenced back yard with deck, and a front porch.


There are four TVs in the house—one in each bedroom, living room, and garden level suite. This property features 3 exterior, outward facing, security cameras: a camera for the front yard, a camera for the front door entrance, and a camera for the back yard patio.


Main Floor: Guests enter the home on the main level which boasts an open concept floor plan with integrated living room with HDTV, dining room, kitchen breakfast bar, and well-equipped state of the art kitchen with gas range. The back deck is off the kitchen and offers additional outdoor seating for anytime-meals. Conveniently located off the kitchen is a half-bath.


Second Floor: From the main level guests will find a well appointed second floor that includes: a loft work-space; a master bedroom with large west-facing windows, blackout blinds, king bed, walk-in closet, TV, and ensuite bathroom; a second bedroom with east-facing windows, blackout blinds, queen bed, TV, and closet is adjacent to a full bath with tub and shower that serves as this room's dedicated bathroom.


Garden Level: The garden level suite offers open seating for TV viewing plus the convenience of two double beds—a futon bed and a pull out sofa bed. The space also includes a clothes closet, workspace desk, a selection of board games, and a custom full bath. Large windows make this a bright and cheery space.


GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to the house, exterior yard areas, and attached garage. A separate garage is located on the property which guests do not have access to. The private driveway provides parking space for four vehicles.


OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
A respect for nature is necessary when spending time in the mountains. We ask guests to keep the exterior property, including the fenced back yard, clean and free of food or trash which might attract animals. Keeping the garage door closed unless accessing the property is also recommended. Please note: The back porch sun shade as shown is no longer available.

Nice House!

The house is in a great location, right off the highway. Beds were comfortable; plenty of space. Basement is a fun place for kids to hang out. Nice, open kitchen. Owners were very quick to respond with any questions and were very accommodating.

Ahhhhh, so nice we have stayed twice (so far...)

Clean, comfortable, well-appointed, easy access..we love everything about your property! We love staying at your home because it has everything we need - so close to Loveland. After a long day of skiing, we can back-up to the heated garage and bring our ski boots in so they are ready to go for the next day! We love the windows that allow you to see all the stars at night and the beautiful mountains during the day. We hope to return in the summer to sit on the deck and watch the sunset! Mountain house.

Very nice house with lots of activities in the area. Great location for Hiking,whitewater rafting, shopping ect. A little bummed about no access to washer and dryer but not a deal breaker. We would stay again if ever in the area.

It is not big enough for seven people, let alone eight, so I felt that was misleading on the site. Also, you can't use all showers at once, because if you do, the water pressure doesn't work. Overall, it was simply just ok.

Friends in Colorado

The space was exactly what we needed! It had wonderful rooms and bathrooms and it was centrally located for everything that we wanted to do. It was only 10 to 15 minutes away from whitewater rafting and zip lining and the Georgetown railroad loop. We spent time up in Blackhawk as well and this was a perfect home base for everything that we needed.

Absolutely PERFECT!

The house was gorgeous and a great size for the 5 of us - the pictures barely do it justice! Also, the fact that the kitchen was FULLY equipped with every dish, pan and utensil we needed to host a Thanksgiving meal here was so so so impressive and we were extremely grateful. We only had to leave the house for groceries! The home was spacious, tvs great for those with not so great eyesight, neighborhood was quiet, easy check-in process, extra towels and linens were provided, the garage had everything we needed to cleanup, etc. I could go on and on! Staying here was a true gift. THANK YOU, Eric and Lisa!

Amazing home in a great location

We had a group of 6 stay at this house for a long weekend trip and had a great experience! The house was extremely clean, had very clear check-in instructions, and was in a central location with easy access to summit county for skiing (keystone), winter park, and not too far of a drive to the hot Sulphur springs. The third bedroom is more of a media room-style with a large pullout bed and pullout cot, still enough room for 2 (3 if 2 people sleep on the couch bed). The hosts were very responsive and hospitable. 10/10 stay! Would stay here again with a group!

Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eric and Lisa's Mountain home. The location was great to visit several mountain towns during our stay. It was well stocked, beautiful and clean. Perfect for our family! My teenager loved having the garden level all to herself. Only thing that could have made it better would have been Clear Creek being at its normal CFM, wish we could have fished more! Well be back soon. My son is already planning our next trip.

Live like you are a local in a beautiful mountain home

If you want a beautiful place to stay in the mountains with quick access to Interstate 70 in a quiet mountain town - you found it. This home is beautiful, clean, and so easy to access. We skied three days at Loveland and the short drive made it extra convenient. Eric and Lisa let you store gear in their heated garage so your wet ski gear dries out and your boots never freeze plus you aren't hauling it into your motel room or condo. There is plenty of space to spread out or come together for games after a long day of Colorado adventuring. Eric and Lisa were so prompt in all of their correspondence about the property. Their home offers everything to make your trip easier and comfortable. Finally, the house is located close to nearby mountain towns with grocery stores, pubs, and restaurants if you don't want to cook for yourself in the beautiful kitchen. Highly, highly recommend and we hope to book again soon.

Will Stay Again

This house is in a perfect location for the activities that we come to the area for. We do offer a Jeeping and there are extensive trails within easy drive from this location. The house is excellent in great condition and very clean. The only critique would be the addition of a washer and dryer for laundry. I must have been mistaken, but I thought when I made the reservations that a washer and dryer was available.

Relaxing Mountain Retreat

This beautiful home was an amazing fit for our group of 6 in town for a wedding! If you enjoy walking in the morning, there is a great creek in the neighborhood. The house was even better than the images in person, super clean and in a great location for Idaho Springs! Eric is an amazing host that made the stay super enjoyable and goes out of his way to help when he can! Look forward to staying at this home again!

Our mountain home is available most Friday through Sunday nights for rental - we still live in this home during the week. During breaks the home is available for longer stays - mainly during the summer months.

This home includes an attached, heated garage ideal for storing outdoor adventure gear such as bikes and ski or boarding equipment. Parking for up to four cars is allowed on the property however we ask guests to NOT park in the garage. Note: There is a separate garage on the property which is private and does NOT allow for guest access.
