The house was lovely. Very spacious. Cleanliness is super important to me in a VRBO and this house was spotless. Very warm vibe. Comfortable furniture and beds. We visit family when we stay in Portland so we also loved the central location and access to freeways, which you canât hear at all in the house. We would definitely recommend and stay again.
We had an amazing time celebrating the bride! It was a perfect central location for many restaurant & bar options. We felt very safe and enjoyed the charming home.
We (family of 4) stayed here for the last few days of a 2 week road trip from LA to Portland. The house was a great end to our vacation. Beautiful original woodwork, large rooms, high ceilings, updated appliances - everything youâd want to stay in comfort, for the price of a hotel room. Location was great and the garage parking lot as most welcomed.
We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend while visiting family and friends. Loved the central location of the home and the kitchen was perfect for cooking Thanksgiving dishes. Hope to stay here again!
The house is very spacious and has great living areas for comfortable stay for larger families. Nice bonus: guidebooks of the area. The only downside are the stairs which can be difficult to manage if you have any mobility issues.
The house was spacious, clean and nicely located in the city. My family and I really enjoyed our time. We had plenty of space to have meals together and my teens appreciated having their own space to hang out.
Loved this place: very clean, comfortable, and cool. Immediate neighborhood felt safer and more quiet than expected, and easy walk to Moda. Will be back for sure.
I was outstanding overall, we truly loved the vibe, blend of what appeared to be refurbished wood decor and modernized kitchen and bathrooms. Bedrooms were spacious and cozy. Walking distance to school/adjoining large grassed park and other amenities was ideal. Nice view of the city from on-suite bathroom.
The place has wonderful ambience and excellent outdoor space. The kitchen is great. Noise from the nearby freeway is noticeable, but not problematic. In room air conditioners were a blessing in July!
Our daughter lives in Portland (we live in CA) and had to work so this was the perfect house to call our home for our Christmas stay! Our host, Blake, went above and beyond by setting up a Christmas tree for us. Very comfortable family room and beds. The kitchen is lovely! We will reserve this house again on our next visit!!
This property was fantastic! The kitchen had everything needed to cook, the home is beautiful and spacious with tons of character. The host was kind and communicated clearly whenever I had a question. Thank you for letting me use your home, it made my trip very pleasant.
What a terrific historic masterpiece! Convenient location if your destination is by the convention center or on the East side of the river but also very easy access to downtown Portland.
Very nicely appointed and that front porch is awesome. Would not change a thing. Thanks Blake for the great communication and hospitality.
We traveled to Portland to drop our son off at University of Portland. It was so nice to have a house for the four days of Orientation. We were able to all hang out, bbq, play dominoes and board games. Also, enough space to hang out by oneself and for me enjoy that delicious spa bath!! The weekend wouldn't have been so nice without this gorgeous house! Just divine!!
I loved every part of this home. I did feel a little nervous being in the home because it is so beautifuly restored and obvious so much work has gone in to honoring the history of it, but that had nothing to do with the owners. Thank you so much for providing this space. Tge neighborhood provides just about everything a person or famiky needs. Neighborhood parks and playgrounds, food within walking distance. And the private parking in the little garage was a bonus. History everywhere. We would definitely stay again.
