Modern mid century boho chic two bedroom apartment unit in a gorgeous private craftsman bungalow home built in 1910. The unit is spacious, cool and provides ample room for a cozy stay. You will find new appliances in both the bathroom and kitchen. Both bedrooms are outfitted with tempurpedic mattresses and clean linens and towels and accented with local Pendleton prints. Backyard is shared. We do have chickens in the backyard and if you like fresh eggs we are happy to drop off some off. There is a slight additional cost for pets and 5th guest. Please inquire.
Our stay was so niceâŠmy husband, our adult daughter and her husband along with our adorable 3 yr.old, Violet loved our stay. Close to everything that we needed to be, and a beautiful neighborhood to walk in. Very comfortable!
It is in a great neighborhood & convenient to our family. Beautiful gardens and lovely host. Loved it & will definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to return!
We were super surprised that it was underneath a house. We loved the cleanliness and amentities. We just thought it was more private and had our own place to stay, the listing did not share that part. It was comfy and the owners were very accommodating.
The communicate was great! The location was very convenient to the downtown area & other places we were visiting. When we are back in the area, we would definitely stay there again!
This was a great space for our family trip. The apartment has its own entry around the back of the house and my 4 and 1 year old had so much fun saying hi to the chickens each time we came and went. House was well stocked and Veronica was such an attentive host. She checked in with us multiple times, gave recommendations for places to check out and answered any questions we had super quick. Thereâs plenty of street parking and laundry on site. Overall a great stay and would definitely come back!
The property was an overgrown garden oasis with an abundance of fragrant flowers competing with one another for best in show. The basement apartment was well apportioned with comfy aesthetically pleasing furniture. There was just enough kitch to make it feel like a home. Downsides: chicken coup is close to the door, so you get a pretty good whif as you arrive, itâs only as you walk past one spot that smells. It is a basement, like all basements there is a subtle mustiness to the air. Neither of those are dealbreakers, Iâd stay there again in a heartbeat.
A wonderful place to stay! There were only two of us but it easily accommodates four. Newly renovated, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you needâeven some eggs from the backyard chickens. We loved it and will definitely stay again when we return to Portland.
I wnjoyed the amenities and location of this vrbo mainly for personal reasons and family but the owner was nice and greated us. The home has a cute portland charm to the entrance of the vrbo and the rental was very very clean. My one complaint which isnt really a complaint is to say that a tall person or group of people probably
We very much enjoyed our stay at Portland Sanctuary! It was myself, my husband and my toddler. It was a large space, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was especially convenient and having basics like oil and spices made it so we could easily prepare a few meals. Beds were quite comfy too. My son loved the chickens in the yard! Only negatives were that the heaters are low to the ground and can get hot to the touch so I had to be careful which ones were on when my toddler was
Cool decor, comfortable seating and sleeping, open concept, easy to find. Communication was great, and it was just enough space for 4 adults. We had a great visit!
