Cozy Lake Cottage sleeps 8

Welcome to Norman's Nest! We purchased our cozy cottage two years ago after falling in love with the exterior color of the house! From the moment I walked through the door, and walked upstairs, it reminded me of my grandparents' house when I was a child. I knew this was the lake cottage I wanted to make memories with my children and future grandchildren in!

We loved the feel of the house. It has enough space to sprawl out and just enough that you can be together as friends and family! The neighborhood is wonderful! Quiet enough you can hear nothing but the birds in the morning, and safe enough to let your children ride their bicycles up and down the road. If you are looking for summer non motor sports fun, then take the canoe/kayak steps away from the cottage and paddle until your heart is content. If you are wanting more adventure, the boat access is down the road to all sports Piseco Lake. We are located right off the snowmobile trail for winter recreation and about ten minutes from Speculator for downhill skiing and tubing adventures. If you are the kind of person I am and like the quiet and simplicity of home, look no further! My favorite space in the cottage during the summer and fall is the screen porch! I could sit for hours with a cup of tea and a good book. But when I am exhausted from snowmobiling on my max 10-minute ride to the Oxbow Inn with the family, I am perfectly content sitting in my cozy clothes with my favorite glass of wine snuggling up by the fire! Chris and I have done our very best to make Norman's Nest that special place you want to visit when life is telling you it is time to slow down!
