Recently renovated, the ranch is on a quiet country road just south of Sebastapol, with views of horses, vineyards, and local farms. Only 15 minutes from the Barlow and downtown Sebastapol, this is a real country getaway, yet still close enough to town that you can take advantage of Sebastapol's restaurants, bars and wineries. The pool and hot tub are brand new in 2022. Only 25 minutes from Bodega Bay, the coast is an easy drive when you're ready to explore!
The home has a great room that looks out over the scenic yard and pool with vineyard views. This sitting area, breakfast nook and kitchen are the heart of the home. There is a formal dining room just off the kitchen, and a living room with 65" TV with cable and streaming services. The living room sofa opens up to a full queen bed if needed. There are four bedrooms, with two queen and two king beds and three full baths.
Whenever possible we take pride in selecting non-toxic products for our home. Cleaning and laundry supplies, shampoo and soap are typically free of chemicals and harsh cleaners.
We had an excellent experience staying at this property. House is beautifully decorated and spacious. Outdoor setting is great for families, couples, etc. Pool and hottub were a great addition plus the horse rescue farm in the distancea is lovely to look at. My brother lives in Sebastopol so we've rented various houses over the years and this one tops the list. Highly recommended
Nice home in Sonoma, misleading listing and issues with neighbor
This home was very spacious and provided room for everyone on a business trip with spouses. The listing indicates that there is a heated pool, but on arrival we learned that you had to contact the property manager and ask for the heater to be turned on, and that it would cost $100 per day. If we'd known that before arriving, we might have opted in. The fireplace in the living room is also not for guest use, and there is no outdoor fire pit as depicted in the listing. We also had an issue with the neighbor. 5 of us were out in the hot tub at around 9:45pm, not listening to music or being overly loud (again, business trip), just having a conversation. The neighbor next door set a ladder up against his fence and climbed it to yell at us over the fence to be quiet. Again, we were not being loud or listening to music, just chatting. He was very rude and this looked to be a regular occurrence since he already had the ladder at the ready next to the fence. The experience left all of us a bit confused since we weren't being loud anyway, and were told in the rules for the house that quiet hours started at 10pm, but the neighbor insisted it was at 9pm.
We loved that this home was in a quiet, rural location and still so close to town. Many of our neighbors are working farmers and ranchers but we can be at the Barlow in 15 minutes for dinner.
