I was really disappointed with how the apartment looked compared to how the pictures looks. Super dark and gloomy. Had none of the decorations that were presented in the pic. No hello yellow sign, no colorful pillows, the blinds in the bedroom were grey and was super dark in there and HOTT. The air was super loud and we had to keep the fan on the whole time to get any air in the bedroom. No green chairs, no rug in bedroom, different cheaper looking desk. The living room did not have those two cushion things that were shown in the pictures. Sofa couch was super uncomfortable bc of the crack separating it. Dirty air filters, coffee machine did not work!!! was super disappointed about that. You can hear everything outside, especially in the morning when other people are leaving. The apartment would shake when the kids/people were running down the hall. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs. Apartment was really old and falling apart. The bathroom lock was coming off the hinges. To use the fee tickets for the arboretum you had to meet at 10:30am which didn't fit into out schedule. The free coffee you get is only one coffee. oh and there is only 1 tv. Overall very disappointed bc of the lack of decor and the pictures being stretched to make the apartment look bigger. I booked this place bc it looked cute, with the decor that it was supposed to have but had none of that. The owners were nice but I feel that it was falsely advertised.
This property was clean and updated but lacking some comforts. The queen bed and sofa bed were both very hard and uncomfortable. There was no fitted sheet for the sofa bed. There was only a few dishes, silverware and towels.
On the plus side it was close to the areas we wanted to visit and some good eating establishments.
The location of the apartment was in an up and coming neighborhood within a couple of miles of downtown. There were a tons of things to do and places to go within minutes (driving). The property was well maintained and so was the apartment. However, there was a lot of noise next door where a large apartment complex is being built. On Saturday, workers started pounding away at 7:15am and then started blaring (no lieâŠblaring) music at 7:40am, so no sleeping in! I had read other reviews indicating this, so we were prepared. We also wanted to explore downtown, so getting up a little early wasnât a big deal. There was an empty grass lot directly across the street which was ideal for taking our dog outâŠdefinitely an unexpected bonus. The apartment was clean and well maintained but was pretty cramped for 2 adults and 2 thirteen year olds. Might be a better fit for just 2 people. Gated private parking lot was also nice. Overall, good stay, especially for the price!
I would definitely stay here again, I would also recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in oldtown Dallas area. It's conveniently located near restaurants, shopping centers, and highway 75. The place had a urban art feel. It was clean, easy to access and secure.
The property is great for a trip to DFW. Itâs very conveniently located and is perfect for a couple. The apartment is on the smaller side so keep that in mind when booking but worked great for my wife and I. We had great communication and any time we reached out we got a response.
Les points faibles : Emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce
Dont recommend
1st of all when i did a search for a place i needed to be close to kat bailey, it was not close and a 12 min drive. 2nd the 1st hour we were there the A/C stopped working and it was 80 degrees in there. The property manager/owner just kept blaming it on the hot weather outside. The place just kept getting hotter and hotter. It finally started working at 3AM. I havent slept at all because i was so hot. The owner was not nice at all. 3rd it was in a terrible part of town. It didnt look anything like the pictures. Honestly i want a refund, but when i asked her last night she said she has no contril over the outside temp. If i rented a tent at a camp site i would believe that, but i didn't. It was expensive amd i am 100% disappointed. And probably wont ecer use vrbo again because of this incident.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Veraâs listing for a little over a week and it had everything we needed including a washer/ dryer. It was close to downtown Dallas, The Dallas Arboretum and lots of restaurants and shops. Vera was very responsive whenever we had questions and notified us if she had to come by for anything. Itâs also in close proximity to Target, CVS, Kroger and Sprouts which was really helpful.
One downside was that there is another complex being built right next to the building at where we were staying so sometimes we heard the sounds of machinery in the mornings and some of the roads around the neighborhood need to be repaved. Other than that our stay was still great and relaxing and we got to explore the city and some of the food. I would stay here again.
I had to come to Dallas for a business trip but have a new baby I didnât want to leave at home so he and my husband came along. The property was great for them to hang out all day! There were several places to eat and a park that were very close too!
There were a lot of written rules which Iâm okay with, but the no shoes on a floor that wasnât carpeted was a lot. I tried to modify my guest prior to my arrival and they never responded. I was just in town for an event I hosted. I came to the apt to rest and the âquietâ community wasnât so quiet so I drove home 2 hours after midnight.
This place was perfect. Super cute. Decorated really nice and very clean. The location is just minutes from downtown and in a good safe neighborhood. Don't hesitate to book here. You will be pleased. Host responded quickly and very accommodating. Will definitely rent again
