Just what we needed!

After 3 days at a wonderful but exhausting convention, my husband and I needed rest and a quiet respite. We found it in this property. The property was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Good place with a few difficulties

Could not get in the door, had to call the VRBO number, then had to call the property manager, who was able to reach the owner, who resolved the door lock problem via their phone. Just a suggestion - the toilet paper provided was so thin & cheap that it conveys a poor message to your customer.o your customer that

The property is old in the middle of other taller buildings. Zero privacy. No fresh air. You can’t leave the door open or it beeps continually. I understand the safety issue. You don’t feel safe opening a window or shades. Again, zero privacy. The parking lot is full of garbage left from people sitting in their cars all night. Didn’t feel safe when they are parked right by the stairs. The toilet overflowed!! When the guy came up to fix it he clearly had been there before with the same issue. We woke up to toilet water all over. We did not feel comfortable that it wouldn’t happen again. Then he took a towel and pushed it around the floor to clean up the water. Never cleaner. No mop. Nothing. We did not get an apology or offered a discount for the inconvenience. We missed a golf t time. I would not recommend this place. overflowed. garbage from

I left 2 voicemail messages for host and neither was answered. There were not instructions if we were to wash dishes or strip bed. Previous VRBO rentals had the information posted. While stripping the bed, found 3 fitted sheets on the mattress. I wondered if they were previously used or would be used for next renter. Our door code did not work after 0900. Check out time was 11:00.

Clean and functional

I was there with my son for his martial arts tournament at the convention center. We had a little difficulty getting through the main gate, as unknown to the host, the lock repair man installed the lever for the gate upside down; so you have to move the lever up instead of down to open the gate. This was told to me by the maintenance man when he let us in. Otherwise, getting is was not an issue. The property was clean and functional. The smoke alarm is rather sensitive as it went off while I was using the toaster; I ended up running it under the fan over the stove. Otherwise it is as listed. The 2 story complex is a little older and seems to be all for rental as each room had an electronic door keypad. It's in a convenient location with a grocery store (Kroger), CVS and a number of restaurants (Fast food and others) within a 15 minute walk. It is a 15 minute/ $8-10 Uber ride from the convention center. There is parking in the back and the side of the property. The neighborhood is in the midst of gentrification as there are many new apartments and houses, duplexes being built or have been built within the past couple of years. I felt safe walking around there.

Quick weekend trip

Had a quick getaway with brother and dad to Dallas. No issues at all. Close to downtown attractions, interstate, some awesome local restaurants too. We hit Voodoo donuts. So good. Will def keep in mind to start at again.

This apartment is perfect for 1person or a couple. Great location… very quiet neighborhood. Felt very save a a single person.

Great location. Nice walk to Dallas Art Museum. Clean and comfortable environment. Convenient washer and dryer much appreciated. Quiet neighbors. Clear directions and instructions from owner. Would stay here again.

Property was next door to construction during our stay. Not a big deal just a detail that should be mentioned. Water was also being worked on during our stay which caused some a slight inconvenience momentarily. Space is as advertised in pictures. Heater/AC systems runs alittle loud but works. Recommend bringing your own towels if you want extra.
