The Space:
An inviting, open and relaxing space for your stay! The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 1st bedroom is a Master suite has 1 king bed and its own bathroom and walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom has 1 queen bed and the 3rd Bedroom has 1 Bunk bed. All Bedrooms have TVs and memory foam beds. The washer and dryer is located in unit and is available for your use. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, and cooking essentials. There are plates, cups, mugs, utensils, and cookware available. We also provide complimentary:

Christmas in LA

My husband and kids (from Nor. Cal.) met up with my in-laws (from AZ) to spend several days together over Christmas relaxing in this beautiful VRBO and exploring LA. This house is in a great location! Quiet neighborhood, yet still “close” (20-60 min) to popular sites. It was so nice to come home to a lovely house after a busy day, and be able to watch movies and play games together. Ok…here are the PROS: The house is gorgeous, obviously recently remodeled, and incredibly clean. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided in both bathrooms. The cooking utensils and pots and pans were new and excellent quality. Full block of beautiful sharp knives. New (looked like it, anyway) washer and dryer. Big flat screen TV. CONS: Sad to say, some issues came up. There were no top sheets on the bunk beds, only bottom sheets and 1 blanket each. No extra blankets to be found. No cleaning supplies or laundry soap/dryer sheets. We bought our own in order to do laundry and wipe up after cooking. Kitchen cupboards were BARE. As in Old Mother Hubbard BARE. No can opener, cheese grater, cutting board, salad/mixing bowls, spaghetti strainer, serving dishes/platters…I couldn’t even open a can of beans or make batter for pancakes. We had to run to the store and buy our own supplies. I donated the can opener to the house when we left, because no one should have to go buy a can opener before being able to eat their dinner! Ad said house could sleep 7-9 people, and that it was designed for large groups, but there were only dish settings for 6. Pair that with no mixing/serving bowls, we ended up buying paper plates and bowls in order to serve meals and eat all together. There was no drain cover in the large farmhouse style sink (I loved that sink!) so my husband got sprayed with old food bits when he turned on the garbage disposal. We bought a sink strainer and left it there. The vent in the kitchen needs a cover. A screw on the back of one of the toilet seats was broken, so the seat swayed around. Sit carefully! The single outlet in the master bathroom was across the room from the sink and didn’t even work, nor did the outlet directly opposite on the other side of the wall in the bedroom. There was old mail lying inside the front door and in drawers. I would love to stay at this home again if the CON list was addressed. It was so beautiful and has so much potential for perfection! We really did have a lovely time!

Not Very Zen

A very last minute house situation meant I needed to find a place to host Christmas and based on the numerical rating of this home, I booked it. It worked for what we needed, however, here are the issues we dealt with: * Front door keypad didn't work. After reaching the contact, it was over an hour before entry was gained via the back door. We were assured the front door would be fixed, and it never was. * It appeared to have been a while since the house was cleaned (spider webs and daddy long legs throughout the house) and an pull-up was found under one of the beds. * Different people reached out to us to ask about our stay, but no one seemed to be in communication with each other. I would have felt better if they had discounted the stay, but that didn't happen. * I decided to read previous reviews and I share one from a year ago below and these same issues still exist, over a year later. Having no working outlet in the primary bathroom was a major hassle. On Jan 15, 2023, a tenant noted the following CONS and yet still provided a 4/5 review: * House could sleep 7-9 people, and that it was designed for large groups, but there were only dish settings for 6. * The vent in the kitchen needs a cover. * A screw on the back of one of the toilet seats was broken, so the seat swayed around. * The single outlet in the master bathroom was across the room from the sink and didn’t even work, nor did the outlet directly opposite on the other side of the wall in the bedroom.
