Fully renovated, stunning luxury in the magnificent Santa Croce district

There's no better place in the world than Tuscany--centuries of history, the world's most outstanding wine, pasta perfection and the friendliest people. Our luxury apartment is located in the city center of Florence in the famous Santa Croce district, only a few minutes from the Duomo. Out the front door, guests will have access to numerous local restaurants, the best museums and incredible shopping. Plus, our home is situated in a lively, yet safe, area of Florence where locals gather in the piazza throughout the day to enjoy the weather and get caught up on life. It's a perfect place to hang out and take in the local ambience.

The apartment itself has been recently remodeled and furnished with new, designer goods. Guests will have access to a beautiful new kitchen with seating capacity for two around the island. A microwave and four-burner cooktop provide everything guests will need to whip up a great meal, and there are ample cookware and utensils. There is also a wine frig for those incredible Tuscan delights purchased during the day and ready to drink at night. Just off the kitchen is a dining area with seating for up to six. Steps away is the grand living room with lovely vaulted ceilings and a view of the piazza. All our furniture has been custom-designed locally in Florence and will provide a comfortable place to unwind after a day exploring Florence. Down the hallway is the first of two beautifully appointed bedrooms and a full en suite bathroom. Then, up a short flight of stairs, guests will find two additional areas. First is a fantastic "office" space for those needing to put in a few hours for work. We've selected a comfortable couch as well that can be used for reading, relaxing, or taking an afternoon nap. Next is the second bedroom with its fully-appointed en suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have room darkening shades to assure a restful sleep, and we've outfitted each with a queen-sized bed and elegant 600 thread count sheets. Both bathrooms have showers, toilets personal sinks.

Our apartment features all the important amenities guests might need to make there stay comfortable including wi-fi. We also installed a brand new washer for laundry. Please note there is no dedicated parking for our building. There is also no elevator--our apartment is on the third floor.

When we walked in it felt like we were visiting an old friend's house, everything just seemed well thought out and decorated. The steps are a lot to climb, but they are adding an elevator.

What a fantastic flat in a fabulous location! When the elevator is working, it will be even better! The cafe out front was the perfect place for us to play cards, have a beer, and plot strategy every evening. My only recommendation would be to provide fresh, fluffy towels and ample down pillows. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

We loved this Florence apartment! The unit is clean and well stocked with all the items you need. Having air conditioning and a washer/dryer was wonderful! Debi was prompt to answer any questions and she provides recommendations for restaurants in the area. We felt so comfortable in this unit and did not want to leave Florence. We highly recommend Debi’s place!

The property was beautiful and comfortable. It was exactly as advertised. The elevator was under repair which didn’t especially bother us, but if you are not able to take stairs it would be the only downside (for the coming months). We loved the place and wished we could stay even longer. Restaurants and the local area are very, very walkable. Highly recommend!

We loved this stylish, comfortable, spotlessly clean and conveniently located apartment. You do have to walk up three flights of stairs to get to it, but the quality was worth it for us.

Fabulous place! Decor was impeccable, great location, had every amenity we needed! Host communication was easy and timely. Appreciated having both and a washer and dryer in unit, as well as air conditioning to keep cool and comfortable. Highly recommend!

This was nicest of last 10 VRBOs we used. House is decorated like a high end home. Bedrooms are in the back and quiet. All AC units worked and easy to operate. Beds comfortable. Much larger washer and dryer than most European models. Host was available 24/7 for anything and helped arrange airport transfer. Highest recommendation.

Amazing property! Light-filled, spacious, comfortable. Beautifully decorated and maintained (and so clean!). Great location too -away from the crowds but still centrally located. Lots of comfortable areas to relax. As noted, there are a lot of stairs but mainly only a problem for us for bringing suitcases up. Communication with Debi was super easy and responsive. Hope to come back!

The location is phenomenal. We walked to Boboli Gardens, the train station and everything in between. The property is clean, well appointed, has comfortable furnishings and is spacious enough for two couples. It even has a window screen, a rarity in Florence! The AC works perfectly. The washer, dryer and dishwasher certainly came in handy. Everything works so we never had to contact the host for repairs during our 7 night stay. If we lived in Florence we’d be lucky if this was our property. The building has old world charm but the unit is completely modern. The host is responsive and accommodating. Fabulous oasis close to everything!

We spent a week here and absolutely loved it. This meticulously maintained property had everything we needed. It is very clean, centrally located, and very comfortable. It is both beautiful and very functional.

Doug and I live in Laguna Niguel, California. I own a successful design studio and retail furniture business. Doug is retired from the medical field but is a full-time adventurist, traveling the world for sport-fishing, scuba, and other crazy activities.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Over the years, Doug and I have visited Italy many times, and we quickly fell in love with Florence. Who wouldn't? We love the Tuscan countryside and can't think of a more stunning place to live/visit. We've always been drawn to the Santa Croce district given it's collection of historic buildings and quaint neighborhoods. And the multitude of local restaurants, bread shops and wine bars provide a convenient opportunity to walk out the front door and into the real Florence lifestyle.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We think our apartment is truly special. The location is perfect and offers an opportunity to enjoy local living in a lively, safe neighborhood with the easy access to all the great tourist sites Florence offers. Inside, we outfitted all the rooms with comfortable, stylish furnishings but we retained the local and historical decor (e.g. crown moldings, flooring, layout). It's a place we can't wait to come back to and are delighted to offer to our guests.
