Escape off the beaten path and reconnect with nature as you make your way up to the top of the hill and find your cozy retreat tucked within the avocado grove. Take a short hike through the grove taking in the hilltop views of the the ocean and country side. Away from the bustling city but close to all amenities, including great local wineries within 30 mins, or attractions such as San Deigo Safari Park and local beaches. This is a working avocado grove with picking season in the spring, so you may encounter grove workers. We also live on the property close by if you need anything, but also maintaining your privacy.

Peaceful and serene oasis.

My best friend and I spent 4fays here catching up, sharing stories, morning coffee and wine by the fire pit in the evenings. We absolutely loved our stay. Already trying to plan a return trip.

Amazing stay!

We loved staying here! Everything was excellent quality. The views were breathtaking! The beds were very comfortable. Cindy was great at communicating and gave a great breakfast recommendation. Loved the extra touches of fresh fruit, snacks and good coffee!! Would for sure stay here again!! The property has a great trail to walk through the grove and great patio to enjoy sitting outside.

Spectacular views, quiet and peaceful. If I ever go back to that area I will definitely stay here again. Very inviting and homey atmosphere.

Mountaintop hideaway

This stay was very lovely, even with all the rain. We were able to enjoy all the trails and roads leading around the property and small mountain. The roads were easily accessible, even in the rain. There's so much to explore, which the kids loved! I can't stress how awesome the location is... it's "away" from everything but at the same time we could drive to the surrounding areas if needed or for day trips. Cindy was always a text away if I had a question. The two bedrooms and bathroom were well-sized and comfortable, but our favorite area was the kitchen.

Kid Friendly

My kids had a blast here. Theyre 6 and 8. We came to go to the beach and the Safari Park. Both are within about 20-30 min drive which was perfect for us. The kids loved playing outside in the yard, exploring the avocado grove and the swing. They kept calling it "the top of the world" because you're at the highest point. They enjoyed the fire pit as well. We would definitely come back here.

A gem of a rental

We loved staying in the avocado grove, walking the property, enjoying the really nicely appointed casita. The outside area is so inviting and the next time we stay we hope to spend more time relaxing. This visit was all about getting together with family, who live close by, but having the casita gave us the quiet time we so enjoy in the mornings and evenings. Cindy was so communicative and we felt welcomed and comfortable. Beds are comfortable, linens are very high quality, kitchen had everything we needed. We’ll be staying here again.

Wonderful Casita

I highly recommend staying at this wonderful casita. My husband, in-laws, and I were attending a family wedding at the Monserate Winery, the location from this place was perfect for us. We also visited a few towns nearby, Oceanside was only about 20 mins away as well as Temecula. Cindy was a great host, she was super responsive and friendly.

The Nice and Secluded Getaway Lodging

This property was great inside and out. It had all the amenities with plenty of living room and kitchen space. The outside had two wonderful sitting areas with even a fire pit. The surrounding area was very quiet and secluded which is ideal for a romantic getaway. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for some peace and quiet with a touch of country feel. The place was amazing with very friendly hosts, I couldn’t have been more happy with our stay.

Peaceful property

Very nice and private. Property was clean and well maintained. Really enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and the view from the flag pole is worth the hike to get there. The Hosts we're wonderful.

Quiet and peaceful. Loved walking the orchard paths. Great hosts, easy to communicate with. Close to many communities but don't have to deal with the noise and crowds. House was clean, neat and well stocked.

We had a family wedding and it was a perfect stay! where the house is settled in an avacado grove it was peaceful and quiet! Cindy was very helpful and welcoming and the little touches of some staples in the home were great. (fresh milk for coffee) always a bonus

Avocado Paradise

Absolutely fabulous place and amazing property. Sparkles cleanliness, million-dollar view from coziest backyard with fire pit, comfortable beds, full equipped kitchen, even full cable TV(how many VRBO properties have cable TV now?). And all these in the middle of private and secure avocado park. Special Thanks to the owner Cynthia for her outstanding hospitality. We’ll be back definitely!

Wedding weekend

We were looking for a place near the wedding venue that we could be more relaxing than a hotel. And I enjoy different places. This was perfect. Relaxing being surrounded by the avocado grove, the casita and outside area was very nice specially at night sitting by fire and seeing the stars. We were able to hike around the property in the early morning and it was so nice! I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the property and the surrounding activities.

Wonderful views and property. You can see 360 degrees and the ocean form the mountain top. Lots of wildlife and so quiet. Great beds/mattresses and water pressure for showers. Loved it.

Our family lives on the property maintaining the 40 acre avocado grove year round. We love the outdoors and the peace and quiet our grove offers we look forward to sharing it with our guests. We are close by if you should need anything while maintaining your privacy.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

A unique property hidden from the busy city, however we are still close to local amenities. Beautiful views as you make your way to the top of the hill. Taking a walk through the grove, catching a sunset or view of the country side and ocean is definatly a highlight.
