Great little house close to a lot

We recently stayed at the Countryside Cozy House and the home is great. The location is close to a lot but still out enough to be quiet and peaceful.

Great Location

Provided all the necessities for a pleasant stay. Close to churches, shopping and restaurants. Easy to find and get to anywhere in the Huntsville area and just a few miles from I-65.

Relaxing Stay

Another relaxing stay at the Cozy House! We enjoy the quiet location and easy access to restaurants and shopping. Plenty of room and beautiful ammenities. This is our home away from home. We hope to stay again in warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful screened in porch.

Quaint home in excellent location.

The house was located close to shopping and highways. Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful yard. House was clean and welcoming.

Family Weekend!

My husband and I needed somewhere to stay for a family wedding weekend. We needed something pet friendly and this was one of the best options we saw listed. It is as described in the photos and descriptions. Very clean, organized, easy access to Madison, Huntsville, Harvest. No loud neighbors or anything. We loved our stay and so did our dog!

Beautiful Deck

Covered deck was the best part of this property. The smoke alarm started chirping at 1:25 am making for a very difficult nights sleep.

Great house!

I loved this house, and would give it a 4.5 if possible. It just had a few things lacking to make it a 5. The kitchen had massive storage space. There is a wonderful screened in deck at the back. The yard is spacious and filled with big trees where squirrels, rabbits and birds are found. The location is countryside, but it is on a few minutes drive to shops and restaurants and the interstate. We will stay there again the next time we visit, and we do that about twice a year.

Super great customer service skills of owner

I ended up having an asthma reaction to the air fresheners and fabric softener they used in the house, so we didn't stay the week. We found alternate accomodations. The house might work for others though. Management is super nice. Walkability for people that bring their pets is limited, though. The house is on a busy road that does not have sidewalks. There are some nice conveniences though. Three full bedrooms. A nice desk in each room upstairs. Publix (grocery store) is less than five minutes away. Again, super nice management...nothing they could do about my asthma, so that one is on me.

Great house with perfect screened in porch

The house is located very close to US 72 and easy to access any activity in the area. The house was well appointed and the large screened in porch/deck was a great spot. Our group was there for work and there is plenty of room with an office area on the 2nd floor. This was my second time to rent the space and would return.

Functional but not COZY

Although probably a typo, the house was definitely not in the country. And most definitely not cozy. The interior decor was a battle over functional/minimalist and what was available in the store for the room I was working on that day. The feel for me was reminiscent of a South Florida minimalist decor to keep it fresh and airy. The big artwork in the main room was very hindi/Indian motif with a art deco sofa futon with a metal framed chair with a leatherette cushion that would deflate as you sit on it. No additional blankets, cushions or pillows. It reminded me of my college dorm furniture that you couldn't get comfortable on. Each room had a bed, a desk, and a desk chair with a very different feel. Upstairs, a big giraffe painting in a very plain room that had a runner type of rug that had plenty of ladybug carcases on and around it. The bathroom was a peach-coral color with a green rug in front of the shower, a grey rug in front of the sink, and a mirror above the vanity that works for someone 5 feet or shorter. The loft area had an outdoorsy (mural of trees) and aviation motif. The bookcases had no books in them. There were maybe a dozen books along the stairwell, 5 were in Spanish the others about Hinduism. The dining room felt like I was sitting at the kids table with the table height so high in comparison to where you sat in the lounge chairs. The kitchen and living room had a nautical motif with wainscoting on the walls. NOTHING COZY about the house.

Cozy, relaxing & Homey.

In town to visit my brother and some other family members. Loved the home. Especially loved the screened porch. It was wonderful to start the morning drinking my coffee & listening to the birds & morning sounds. Also loved spending time there in the evening with a glass of wine. The hosts, Vee & Javier, were so nice and accommodating. They were always very pleasant when I spoke with them. I get to Athens a couple times a year, sometimes more. I will definitely want to stay here again. Hopefully it will be available when I have another trip back to Athens. Thank you Vee & Javier for contributing to a very pleasant trip.😉
