Situated in the Historic Cocoanut District, this neighborhood is diverse with an exciting vibe with local food trucks, restaurants, theatres a walking distance away, also the famous Ringling Museum of Art. One block from Sarasota Bay. Also, within walking distance of downtown and all its festivals, farmers market and night life. You can hop on the Bay Runner Trolley for free and take it to St. Armands Circle and Lido Key Beaches!

It is one of 6 units that share a peaceful and serene courtyard. Perfect for working from, enjoying an outdoor meal, sitting around the fire pit, lounging in the sun or mingling with other guests.

Coconut Dream is equipped with a full kitchen. Please note this unit is unique as you will have access to an exclusive complimentary washer and dryer. The hallway where the washer and dryer are located is minimally used by management to access a storage closet. We provide a starter kit of supplies; to include 2 trash bags, 2 laundry pods, 2 dryer sheets, and 2 dishwasher pods.

For long term stays, you would purchase your preference of supplies needed. Also provided are 2 sets of towels per person with an extra set in each bedroom closet along with an extra set of bed linens. Additional towels or linens are available upon request for a fee. Beach items can also be provided upon request with refundable deposit. Please advise of items needed at the time of booking to ensure the items are placed in your unit prior to your arrival. Cots are available for a small fee please request at booking depending on availability.

Monthly and LT stay discounts depending on season. For our guests that stay a month or more we ask for a two week check in and a light cleaning at a discounted rate or a mutually agreed cleaning service. $250 pet deposit is required at time of booking and is refunded if no damages. If the guests do not pick up dog waste, there will be a fee of $50 that will be applied each time. We require pets to be crated when you are not at your unit. If a crate is needed, please advise and we will provide one in the unit. We require valid govt id for each guest at booking. The outside premises have 24-hour protection cameras. Please note that City ordinance prohibits parking of any truck, trailer, tractor trailer, trailer body, mobile home, house trailer, camper trailer, bus or any similar vehicle or equipment on any street within any residential zone between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. daily.

What a gem!

Everything is so nicely done… new appliances , mattresses, pillows and linens - all very plush too. They have thought of everything you will need to have a great stay. It felt like home away from home! First time in Sarasota so there was lots to discover and Jojo, the property manager, was great at making suggestions about what not to miss and places to eat and where to find entertainment. The location is great…a short drive to Lido Beach, Siesta Key, downtown and St Armand’s Circle. It’s a 5 minute walk to the grocery store and a 10 minute walk to the bay. Even the airport is only a ten minute drive away! We will definitely be back for more seafood, beach walks and sunsets!

Awesome VRBO close to Sarasota downtown

Great VRBO stay. My friend and I came to Sarasota for the Art Festival. We were walking distance from the festival! Very clean and comfortable house. Went to the Ringling museum which was awesome.

Very clean and comfortable

The home was located a few minutes from all the downtown bars and restaurants. It was super comfortable and very clean. Will definitely stay there again.

The day before we arrived I was told we would have to share the patio with possibly another small dog of which our dog was a 10lb Morkie, and the limit was 20lb to our surprise it was 2 labor doodles weighing at about 70lbs., also the patio turned out to be a courtyard for 4 ranch style apartments with a fence on the far side of each end so that was also a share. Next.. There was 1 set of towels perperson for an entire week when I emailed the host I was told that I could wash them and usually there should be 2 per person so she sent the cleaning lady over with towels that had stains on them obviously no bleach being used here.Next No laundry detergent,No automatic dishwasher detergent,No bar soap, No paper towels, No Napkins, as stated in her essential list, not even enough to get u started the first couple of days When I complained by text to the host about the missing things she finally sent them with the soiled towels and ssked if this would make me happy.The most disgusting to me was when I went into the bathroom to find a cockroach on the top of the sink. There is no golf course view in front or back. I booked it on the 9th with an arrival on the 26th and was told that there was no refund by VRBO when I tried to cancel on Dec.10th.I was told several times that her house was not child proof, The child was a 10yr. Old of which was stated when I booked the apartment. I have pictures of the stained linens and the roach in the bathroom if u would like them. When working with this host I felt she was rude with her comments and I will not book with her again.After all I was on VACATION
