This was my 1st time renting another's private property as opposed to a hotel. Wonderful experience! The host was very pleasant and easy to contact. Place is as advertised. I would definitely go back having a better understanding of how this process works and the expectations.

The property was well taken care of. Very quiet, but still close enough to visit restraunts and such. Nothing was more than 30 minutes away. All the comforts of home, away from home.

Our stay was excellent, and the condo was as-advertised. The photos are the usual 'glamour shots' photos that vrbo places do, but the views and scenery really are spectacular, and the condo really is very clean and bright.The condo is very well stocked (coffee, creamer, foil, great plates and silverware etc.) The owner was very helpful and responsive, and the check-in/out process was very simple. There was an issue with a blocked sink, but it was handled quickly and without intruding on our vacation.A few things to note: upstairs guests can be quite loud - typical for an apt/condo with upstairs neighbors. Also, the location is on the flight path of the airport, so you hear planes overhead frequently - wouldn't have been a dealbreaker for us, even if we'd known. Final 'complaint' (these aren't really complaints) is the strong 'marine' smell when we arrived - perfectly appropriate for the location of course, and we got used to it quickly. But if you've got a sensitive nose, you might want to think carefully about spending time on a cliff overlooking the ocean!The location of this condo is amazing. Tons of cool adventures within walking distance. To the south is the Sunset Cliffs Nature Park, which is beautiful. And north is just a short walk to the Ocean Beach town, where there's shopping, a beach, bars, and restaurants, all with a very 'beach' vibe. Finally, we saw dolphins on several occasions - can't beat that!

This property is the absolute best! The views are second to none, check in is super simple and our host has always been very responsive (we've stayed here more than once). It is comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. You won't regret choosing this property!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful beach house in Sunset Cliffs! The home itself was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway, but what really made the trip unforgettable was the location. We absolutely loved exploring the area—charming local dining spots just a short walk away and the stunning coastline right at our doorstep. Some of our favorite memories were simply sitting out on the patio in the evenings, watching the sun dip below the ocean, it was pure magic. This house truly feels like a hidden gem, and we’re already talking about coming back with our extended family so they can experience it too. Highly recommend!

This property was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and the communication was excellent, but the biggest perk to this property was the patio, views, and access to a cute little beach. We had the best long weekend getaway and hope to do it again next summer! Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us!

Beautiful! Loved It!

It was beautiful and our family loved it! I felt it was just as advertised. It was also peaceful, and we felt it was a safe neighborhood. The only 2 things to be aware of are this:1.) The garage space is VERY tight. We had 6 people with us and we rented a new Acadia (which is a little larger than the older models and has a 3rd row). We almost didn't fit in the garage, I had to have my wife guide me in almost every time, and we had to duck way down to get under the cabinets. But again, this is NOT A COMPLAINT! Just something to be aware of if you have a large vehicle.2.) This is probably just an oversight on my part, but I thought there was A/C. However, there was not. There were fans provided, though. Again, not a complaint, just be aware.The owner was very responsive and kind, and the location was close to everything. We had a phenomenal time!

All About The Ocean

Was everything it was advertised to be. We used ride share when we needed to, took in a Padres game, walked to OB for most meals, bought the essentials from local stores. But the real star is this place. If you need a break from hectic world, book a few days here and just soak it up. Watch the tides roll in and out. You won't be disappointed. Amazing. Thanks!

Family vaca in SD!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Ocean Beach property. The pictures don't do justice at how perfect the view is and how close to the water you are. We had everything we needed in the condo from comfy beds, plenty of towels, and all of the necessary cooking supplies. We're already thinking about reaching out to rent it again for the next time we head out to the West Coast!

Stunning and a highlight of our USA trip

This was a highlight of our three-week USA trip from Australia. The property was stunning. The views were incredible and the property itself clean and of high quality. We cooked all dinners at home because it was so nice to be there. We wish we had longer and will be back one day! Thank you!

Stunning Views and Location

One of the cooler places we've stayed over the years, with the panoramic cliffside ocean views being the star of the show. The unit was as described and well appointed, with an excellent host. The highlight was watching the huge splashes during high tide in the mornings as the waves smashed into the cliffs directly below. Being near shops and many good restaurants in Ocean Beach (about a 15ish minute walk) was very convenient and it was fairly easy to drive to the other main attractions in San Diego. The parking spot in the garage was super convenient, though anything longer than the compact crossover SUV we rented may have been a bit too long and required street parking. Great base for exploring San Diego, but the unit was nice enough to be content at the unit watching the waves on the patio.

Location is phenomenal. 15-20 minutes from anywhere you want to go in the San Diego area. However - we loved OB so much we spent a lot of time walking from the house and left the rental car behind. House is bigger than in looks in pictures. Perfect for our family of four. Bed were very comfortable and house has all the amenities needed. TVs and ceiling fans in all rooms. Patio is the perfect spot to hand and enjoy tge sounds and sights of the ocean. Host is easily accessible and very communicable. Look forward to another stay here. We VRBO a lot ans this one is definitely at the top of the list!

Fabulous sunset views

This location was a perfect place to stay during our San Diego visit. A short drive to pretty much anywhere you need to go. A short walk to many cool places, including the water. Clean and had everything you needed. But really the views are the best part. We enjoyed the sunset every day, watching dogs play on the nearby beach area below, watching surfers and hearing the water crash along the rocks. A great stay.

Fantastic Rental!!!

Wonderful property that is well maintained, clean, spacious, well stocked with towels and kitchen utensils and comfy beds. The living room and large patio have unobstructed views of the ocean. Communication with the property owner was prompt and professional. We enjoyed the sounds of the ocean all day and night. We got groceries and prepared most of our meals at this property because of the amazing views and amenities.
