Cozy place for family gathering but only 2 real bedrooms
Kitchen, living and dining room can accommodate 6 adults comfortably. But only 2 bedrooms for 2 couples. The bunk beds and futon upstairs are best for kids but not for a 3rd couple. The washer had a broken lid and was not working properly. Plenty of hot water and easy to regulate house temp. Great location.
Adam was so responsive to any questions or concerns I had. I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at his home. It was calm and peaceful and I loved hearing the loons.
This was our 4th year back at this location. We love it! We love this location and the water front. The water is perfect for littles as it is shallow by the beach area. We love the yard to run around in. Lovely neighborhood to take walks. The house is so clean and has a perfect layout for our family. Looking forward to returning next year!
Only problem was the grill did not work. Fortunately had family nearby so borrowed a grill. Love the house, love the location! Love that you added a Keurig! Thanks for the goodies!
The low water in the lake is excellent for Littles. Enjoyed the clear lake (no vegetation) until very deep waters. If you go on the deck, to the end, there is a beautiful sunset. Nice host, great stay, and a very nice welcome basket of baked goodies upon arrival!
We enjoyed the property very much. Unfortunately the circumstances around the visit with the flooding etc made it a little difficult to totally relax. Owner is awesome; neighborhood is kind and the lake was fine, unfortunately the dock flooded out a few days into the trip (not owners fault) handled it well neighbors brought the dock pieces back to the property. Enjoyed the deck and natural views. Played lots of games and stayed out most of the week. Would go again, just hope itâs better weather/conditions
This vacation was just wonderful!! From Booking with Adam, to communicating with the property manager, everything went so smooth. The cabin was very clean and inviting. Very much the Vermont rustic feel, just what we were looking for! The yard was great for the kids as well as the little beach area. The water was shallow enough to walk out a bit and still enjoyable to swim. We used the kayaks offered by Adam and were able to launch our boat and tie it up at the cabin dock. There was a little playground down the road as well. Cute little stores in the area, and we even went to Jay Peak ( about 45 min away) for a day and enjoyed a tram ride and insole water park. Fires at the edge of the lake and roasting marshmallows were the perfect endings to each night. Canât wait to come back!
The house is on a quiet road with very little traffic. The house is decorated nicely and it was a comfortable space for my family of 4. There are 3 bedrooms and we only used 2.My son loved the bunk beds and the sandy beach area to play. The water is very shallow for a long while which is great for the kids. The lake is beautiful with lots of wildlife. We saw cranes, loons and deer tracks near the water. Everything you need for a week at the lake is available at the house dishes, linens, etc. We did bring our own beach towels. The owner and the property manager were both easy to communicate with. We hope to spend another week there next summer.
