What a great experience we had

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean, roomy, mostly well stocked. Could have used more towels to start with but were gladly given more when requested. Parking was a challenge but we made it work. Would easily rent from them again and will highly recommend them.

Cute little house on the hill!

The property management was friendly and helpful. The house was cute and well cared for. We had everything we needed there, fully stocked. Only suggestion, maybe a high chair would be helpful for future families, but otherwise, we had a great time with no complaints.

A great place to relax after ~4000 mile drive from Boston

Excellent with lots little extra to make for a great stay. Features we really liked - 1) Cool nights and warm days (after 104F crossing Nevada and 100F in Utah) 2) Downstairs bedroom and bathroom 3) 3 Bedrooms (after 8 days of hotels) 4) The front porch, fire pit gizmo 5) Cookies ! and and kitchen equipment 6) Dishwasher and lots on plates, pots pans, knives to cook and eat with 7) Laundry room downstairs 8) TV and channels

Very Remote- Parking limits are real

This property was clean and as represented in photos, but hard to find as the "turn-off" road is not well marked, and house is up a very rough one-track lane deep in the woods. Although it was only 7 miles from my son's house it took over 30 minutes to travel. Also, the entry to the home is not very safe...you have to walk down a hill on loose pea gravel with no stairs or railings. It was tough for my older mother and we had to carry suitcases and you can't drag them over gravel. Suggest they create a SAFE path of entry for guests.

Nice little house a few miles from Guerneville

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and communications/check-in easy. The kitchen was well-equipped. There is only a small kitchen table with 3 chairs (no dining room), which would have been a problem (there were 4 of us, plus 3 guests came over for a meal on Thanksgiving), except the weather was nice and we were able to sit out on the deck. The deck was lovely, surrounded by trees. The location was a little out-of-the-way and the driveway was steep, but it was paved and we didn't have a problem, even with a minivan with a bike trailer. It was nice to be up on a ridge out of the damp in the sun. And the neighbor was super nice and welcoming. We did have trouble with the heat. It kept shutting off automatically overnight and the house was cold in the morning. Another minor complaint was we didn't find the beds and pillows very comfortable, even though they appeared to be new. Thinner pillows for kids/side sleepers would be nice. All in all though we were comfortable and would recommend this place to someone who wants to stay in the Guerneville area.

Lovely stay for adults and older children

Let's start with what we loved about the place. It's a great layout with 3 spacious bedrooms. The outdoor spaces are all really lovely, though because we were there in the heat of summer with a very handsy toddler, we preferred the back deck with the dining table on it to the cozy fire pit in the front. It was nice to be up in the trees a bit on the porch and it was generally very quiet. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was better stocked than most kitchens you'll find in vacation rentals. And we loved the game selection! Here are the warnings. Access to the house is via a one-lane, windy, hilly road. It wasn't a big deal for us, except that it made us very intentional about coming and going, as it was always a bit of an adventure. Being in such a remote, quiet location so close to the Russian River made it worth it. But it's just something too consider. I wouldn't recommend staying there with a small child. No room satisfied all his needs for a sleep environment. And there's very little play space other than the back porch--with tons of very exciting breakable decor. A few nitpicks. Downstairs tub didn't drain well. Cookware was scratched non-stick, which is toxic to use. The oven doesn't close all the way, making for inefficient heating. A/C is a floor-window unit in the kitchen, so it doesn't cool the whole house. All the bathtubs require care getting into. No bedroom was easy to cool in the hot summer months.
