"The Surf Spot" 1013 CBAN suite 1 H (Tides II) is A PUP FRIENDLY 2nd story condo managed by Dale and Salt Water Real Estate and may be just the home away from home you are looking for! "The Surf Spot" is a two-bedroom cozy condo that's just a block from our sandy shores and all the sea sights, sounds, and experiences you are looking for!
The suite is in the heart of Carolina Beach and walking distance to downtown and everything that is has to offer. In Carolina Beach youâve got the boardwalk, restaurants, and local shops of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or party boat out for a sunset sail. Camping more your thing? Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island.

The Carolina Beach Lake is nearby, hosting a weekly Farmerâs Market every Saturday and FIREWORKS every Thursday. We welcome you to sit back, relax and enjoy yourselves because that's exactly what the beach is for!
The entry to this 2 bedroom and 2 bath suite opens into a newly furnished family room combined with an open dining area and fully equipped kitchen (stove oven, refrigerator). The kitchen is stocked will all the basic cooking and dining utensils one can expect (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.). In addition, there is a microwave, toaster, coffer maker and blender ready to help make yourself at home (while on Vacay!).
A few of the amenities provided by your Owners include courtesy large shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel left in the bathroom of each bath as well. Also, a roll of TP in each bathroom, 1 roll of PT in the kitchen, 2 garbage bags per garbage, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, coffee, tea, and pure cane sugar in each kitchen. Additional items are likely on sight as well!
The unit's ONE (1) KING bed and TWO (2) TWIN + TWIN bunk beds consists of either a plush luxury mattress or a new encased 8â memory foam/cooling gel composition mattress because we want all of our guests to be comfortable when it comes time to recharge. There is also a Queen pull out sofa if needing a bit more space!
There is a 50â Smart WIFI TV along with a WIFI computer connection for when it's time to sit back and enjoy some movies or shows after a long day at the beach!
The SUITE: Guests have full access to their own private SUITE and respective private balconies.
PARKING: Each reservation will have access to (1) ONE un-assigned parking space in any available "Tides" carport or property parking lot. Be SUPER sure to visibly display your parking permit! Admittedly the lot is a little wonky to traverse at times. Parking elsewhere will likely result in a tow.
âąThe POOL: The pool and its amenities are privately shared by residents and guests. ***OPEN!***

Pleasure Island is a coastal barrier island in Southeastern North Carolina, USA just south of the City of Wilmington. Pleasure Island is located within Federal Point Township, in New Hanover County. The coastal resort towns of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, as well as the annexed communities of Wilmington Beach and Hanby Beach are located on the island. The building itself is approximately one block from the nearest beach access and one block from the ICWW. The property is a long walk or short drive from downtown Carolina Beach with its shops, activities and dining.

Carolina Beach is a mix of friendly locals, snowbirds, and vacationers all looking to escape the inland and enjoy the sand, surf, and sun. We truly have an amazing community! Carolina Beach and the surrounding neighborhoods offer an array of sights and activities to enjoy while here. Some of these examples are (but not limited to) a subtle beach hike through Carolina Beach State Park, Fishing on the Kure Beach Pier, kayaking to one of the many islands surrounding the Intracoastal Waterway, watching canons blast during a historical reenactment at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, or petting some Sting Rays at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.
This doesnât even include the aweing scenery of Airlie Gardens, and our very own battleship (USS NC) in Wilmington! Perhaps more relaxing and less âadventureâ is your speed? Our own local Brewery (Good Hops) along with a round of Frisbee golf may be what the doctor ordered!
There isnât anywhere or anything on our Island that isnât accessible with foot power. Downtown Carolina Beach has several vendors such as Tony Silvagniâs Surf School @ 308 S Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC 28428 (bicycles, paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks, chairs, and umbrellas) for rent as an alternative to walking or driving. There's Sun Fun Rentals @1204 N Lake Park Blvd Unit F Carolina Beach, NC 28428. Taxiâs (local golf cart taxiâs) and Uberâs are also generally available for an assist when needed as well throughout the island!
After all, you wonât catch many locals going OTB! (Over The Bridge). Everything you need is right here!

Please make sure all linens are placed in the basket or hamper before your departure! Please let all BED LINENS on the beds remain on the beds for our TEAM to take care of! âąThe Town of Carolina Beach offers multiple public parking options to visitors and residents on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis. Town-operated parking is open year round and paid parking is enforced March 1st - October 31st from 9AM - 8PM. Parking fees restart each morning during enforcement hours for all of the Town's parking lots and on-street parking spaces.

GOLF CARTS
âąTo the county, golf carts are considered automobiles. Generally speaking, golf carts are NOT allowed on premises of ANY condo, condotel, or apartment. The same goes for trailers, motorcycles, etc. For SFRâs or properties supporting multiple vehicles, carts should be OK. However, be conscious that few homes have external outlets WITHOUT GFCIâS (which are code by todayâs standards). Charging a cart on a GFCI will immediately trip the breaker, resulting in the inability to charge a cart amongst other repercussions. Gas carts will generally be the ideal rental option if in a home whose parking supports such.
âąALL suites are non-smoking (including vaping) and a heavy cleaning/repair charge can result if not adhered to. This includes porches, decks, balconies, and walkways.
âąThere is a $150 non-refundable pet fee for up to two pups. There is a two-dog maximum unless an exception is granted. Cats are not allowed on premises.
âąApril 1st through September 30th, dogs are allowed on the Carolina Beach during restricted hours of BEFORE 9:00 am and AFTER 5:00 pm. On the extreme North End of Carolina Beach, dogs are allowed on leash 24/7 on leash. In Kure Beach, dogs are NOT allowed at any juncture. Fort Fisher allows dogs on leash on the beach 24/7.
