Exfended family spot

We went to Raleigh for my mother’s funeral. This location was convenient to the church and Downtown Raleigh. Perfect for family members age 21-80. The downstairs bathroom has a walk in showe which was perfect for elderly.The driveway was a little narrow, take care if you’ve have a wide SUV. The proper was clean Ana comfortable.

Had a wonderful time in this updated house with everything you need in the kitchen! Enjoyed the close proximity of downtown Raleigh. Walked to coffee shops and stores. Comfortable beds and cozy living room made our holiday wonderful!

Graduation Stay

Family and friends came together to attend my son’s graduation from NC State. Property provided plenty of room for seven adults and the proximity to campus was very convenient. It was clean and comfortable, just what we were looking for in a short stay.

Enjoyable home for family vacation

My family enjoyed what this house had to offer - ample parking, spacious, and well stocked! Communication with the host was great! Only downfall is the neighborhood did not feel the safest at all times of day, but nothing that would prohibit me from renting again!

Small old home, that while furnished decently, is in need of updating. Unsavory neighborhood that we didn’t feel safe in. Property behind had dogs locked in crates that barked constantly and seemed in distress we called animal control. controlSicjdistress

convenient to downtown

we were able to visit many downtown amenities all within about two miles. We walked or drove to restaurants and shops. The house was spacious and provided for all our needs on this trip.

Special House for Special Olympics

We loved our stay here. We had special Olympics for our boy for Summer Games so giving him the space he needed as well as having room for 4 adults, 4 teenagers, and a 9 year old. The layout was fantastic and we each had a bed. We all loved the charm of this house. It's been upgraded nicely and still has that older charm!! We hope to make this house our yearly pick!!

Magnificent on Martin

Myself, my wife, and some friends were in Raleigh for a weekend for a wedding. This property accommodated 8 of us with very little issue. This is an older home which some very nice modern touches, including a nicely renovated kitchen. The neighborhood is about 1 mile from downtown Raleigh- walkable on a nice day. Overall, we found the listing to be accurate and we had a comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is old but have been renovated/updated and is very nice inside. The neighborhood was very quiet. It was nice for a walk down the street to a well kept community park. The house is super close to downtown where we spent a lot of time with wedding events. The one downside was only two small baths but luckily our family was in and out at different times and were able to make it work smoothly.

Very nice house overall. The only downside was that we lived out of our suitcases since there was very limited, if any storage space in bedrooms. Loved the water pressure in the showers.

The house looks just like the photos but the photos don’t show ‘the bits’. Things like the downstairs bathroom which has clear glass to the outside and no window covering. Also no cover plate on the light switch. The walk to the CBD is doable but it isn’t short. The house itself is big enough and functional enough, and will be much better when it is finished.

Perfect Pre-Wedding stay!

This space was beautiful. Check in was perfect as was location! I was getting married on Saturday and my venue didn’t have a bridal suite so my girls and I got ready here. It was just so perfect. Perfect amount of room and stunning for the photos! So much Parking as well :) thank you, Stacy!

Magnificent

Magnificent on Martin is a very lovely and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. Many restaurants, stores and attractions were only minutes away!! Our hostess was informative and responded promptly. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

EHHH and Broken pipes

In general it is a nice enough house, and we liked the proximity to downtown. The owners had done some basic cosmetic work inside the house. Our biggest issue was that the upstairs tub did not drain properly which lead to a major water leak into the downstairs bathroom and hall way on our 2nd night. The owner was quick to respond and get a plumber over (plumber stated this was an on going issue). but there was nothing he could do without a major project. So we had 1 shower for 8 people for the week. The owner did offer us another house that could hold some of our family but we opted to not split since it was a family trip. The whole house was in need of some up keep, the AC downstairs was cold but upstairs was not and each room had an additional AC unit but windows were not sealed and had gaps that let air out. The backyard was not cleared up, meaning we had dried leaves etc. following us into the house. We also saw cockroaches in multiple bed rooms. The water for the refrigerator was hooked up to the hot water line. Owners seemed nice and responsive to our questions and they did give us a small sum back from the rent we paid. We just wanted to be honest, so others know what they are getting, the house was Ehhh
