The family really enjoyed the stay, the house had plenty of room for the 4 of us and a nice fenced in yard and firepit. Will stay here again when we come back into town
Everything about this property was AMAZING!! The house was bright and spacious. Every living space was comfortable and well organized. The backyard was equipped with yard games, a fire pit (which was perfect for s'mores) and the perfect setup to enjoy coffee on the patio. The bathrooms were clean and luxurious. For those high water pressure lovers, the showers were spot on. The location of the house had us in close proximity to ALL the fun things. Just minutes from Pullen Park, NC State, Lake Johnson, restaurants, Marbles Children's Museum, the Natural Science Museum and more. If you're traveling with kiddos, John Chavis Memorial Park is right around the corner with a splash pad, adventure park and carousel. Our host was super communicative and accommodating and went the extra lengths to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We're definitely saving this property to our favorites list!
Very clean, well stocked, and responsive. no issues, just a question and response was prompt and helpful. Location was close to I-40 and downtown Raleigh.
We spent most of the weekend at the convention center & the area surrounding the center. Retro Oaks was well located, so we could come & go easily. Itâs a well equipped place thatâs really cool & hip & was perfect for doing fiber work in the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet at night. I highly recommend it.
I moved to Raleigh 12 years ago and have loved seeing downtown evolve over the least decade. This is my third short term rental and first one in here in the Triangle. I also own a vacation home in the mountains of North Carolina and a beach condo in Emerald Isle. Prior to my career in real estate, I was in the hospitality business including managing a boutique resort in the Virgin Islands where I lived for 5 years.
Carefully curated, this renovated 1960's ranch is just minutes from downtown Raleigh. Multiple living rooms allow you and your guests to spread out if need be. We have tried to create the perfect blend of usable indoor and outdoor space with brand new furnishings both inside and out. The fenced backyard is the perfect urban oasis where you can feel like you are away from everything yet so close to it all. Dine either inside or outside under the stars and retreat to the fire-pit on those cool evenings. We purchased this home due to the quaint neighborhood, proximity to downtown Raleigh and all of the surrounding parks nearby.
