Waterfront 2 BDR/2BA Condo w/Pool and Beach Access

Welcome to Upstream Retreat! A 2 bedroom/2 bath condo located on the Intercoastal Waterway just two blocks from the beach with NO hidden fees! The space has been updated with all new furnishings, appliances, finishes, and a kitchen stock full of goodies. Upstream is perfect for a couples' retreat, remote working, or family getaway. With great views for watching the sunrise and sunset off the two porches and fireworks from the marina (seasonal), come see why we love calling Carolina Beach home!

Along with full access to the condo, guests will have 2 assigned off-street parking spaces as well as access to the pool (open seasonally), docks for fishing and water sports, and grills in the common areas. The neighborhood is quiet, and close to everything with a mix of vacationers and year-round residents living in the building and area.

Carolina beach

Excellent location, walking distance to the beach, quiet neighborhood, exceptionally clean! We all enjoyed our stay & wished we could have stayed longer. The only problem we had were other people in the condos had pets & my grandchildren were chased by a dog & we couldn't go out on the balcony due to two humongous dogs next to us.

Quiet, Beautiful Retreat

I have stayed at Carolina Beach many times, and I thoroughly enjoyed this property. It's in a quiet location with gorgeous views. The decor is tasteful/gorgeous. My son loved the bunk bed room! Location to the beach was a curiosity for me, but I found it to be a very walkable location. Also, once at the beach, it wsa not an overly-crowded area of the beach, which we appreciated. One of our favorite daily experiences was going to the pool. It is located right on the pier and had gorgeous views. I did use the kitchen quite a bit and found it to have everything one would need. The location was in comfortable distance to restaurants and boardwalk but far enough away that it was quiet and relaxing. It was also a quick drive away to easy spots for quick pick up food, etc. The owners were very communicative and accessible. I cannot say enough good things, this was an affordable, lovely vacation! I would definitely enjoy staying here again!

Perfect Quiet Location

This property worked perfectly for our short family getaway. It's located in a very quiet and relaxed area. Getting there is very easy and after first getting there, you will likely not need directions or a map again. The apartment was very clean, and everything was in great condition. The kitchen had everything we needed and more - all in good condition. The bathrooms were clean and functioned well. Our only minor complaint would be that the drains in the showers were both very slow to drain. The view from the back deck toward the harbor was beautiful. It was a great place to get moving in the morning and wind down at night. There is a Ring camera on the deck that we didn't care for. It sort of gave us an ever-present feeling that everything we said and did could be for an unknown audience. I really doubt they were watching our every move on the deck, but you can't escape the feeling. I chalked it up to it being a very quiet area and their desire to make sure it remained so. This is perfectly reasonable and it didn't prevent us from using the deck nor would it prevent us from staying again. The beach access is very close and was no problem for our not-so-beach-ready Radio Flyer wagon as well as our 5 and 7 year old boys. During our visit, it was definitely a quieter part of the beach – perfect! We wished we would have rented bikes because it would have been a perfect place for them. All-in-all, it exceeded our expectations and we would love to stay again in the future!

Mom/daughter vacation

The condo was clean and the view was very pretty. Residents who live there were not very friendly except one lady. I don't know her last name but her first name was Marsha. We enjoyed visiting with her and she came out to tell us bye. She gave us places to eat and visit. The condo above us was very loud. But we had a great time spending time together.

Great location to access all the activities Pleasure Island has to offer including fishing, boating, biking, surfing, kayaking, and deep-sea charters. Many amazing restaurants, eclectic drinking holes and coffee shops within a 1-2 mile radius plus Historic Ft. Fisher, the NC Aquarium and Carolina Beach State Park just a short drive away. Or take the ferry to enjoy Southport for the day!

Wilmington Airport and Downtown Wilmington only 30 mins away.
