Waves Crest, Islander Condos Unit 17-B, is a well-maintained top-floor suite that offers elevated views of both the ocean and the shared pool. Enjoy watching the ocean from the private sun deck, primary bedroom, or great room. Comfortable, quiet, and well-furnished throughout, you'll appreciate the beautiful decor as well as the 65-inch smart TV in the great room and newer TVs in both bedrooms. The wooden walkway and walkover stairs make beach access a breeze. Hot and cold outdoor showers under the building, a barbecue grill, a picnic table, and a fish-cleaning table complete the picture. This home is just a mile from the local grocery and hardware store and even closer to great restaurants and shops. Come stay at Waves Crest and get ready for some amazing Outer Banks fun!

Affordable comfort at a great location

We had a great girls trip to Avon at the Waves Crest. Yes, there are 4 flights of stairs up to the condo. But that means really good views once you are up. We spent a lot of time on the balcony and ate all our meals out there. We were a little worried when it was pouring rain and almost check out time, however the weather cleared and we were able to conquer those stairs one last time. Avon is a great little town and we enjoyed the location, walking to the beach, and hanging out in the comfortable space. It is very clean and had almost everything we needed. For the price, it was fantastic!

Family vaca

The place was nice except for not being warned about all the steps it was on the top floor (3rd floor) that is 4 flights counting the level for the stilts and each floor is 2 staircase which equals 8 flights of stairs it's a lot for kids the elder and just many of people so you choose wisely your events for the day because your not going to be running back to your place often during the day. Weather wasn't great but the beach and view from balcony was beautiful!

Clean and Comfortable

We had a great week in Avon in the off season. The condo was clean and comfortable. Everything was as advertised, including the third floor location.

Absolutely Wonderful!

The apartment unit was just as described. We had a great time at the Outer Banks and we enjoyed our stay at Waves Crest. We will be sure to reserve this unit again for the next time we visit.

Great location, lots of steps!

The spacious unit and wonderful light made this 4th floor condo great, with spectacular views. The steps, 5 floors outside, might be a deal-breaker for some, but personally I loved it. Easy was to get in better shape for a beach vacay. Everything you need is there, dishwasher, w&d, brand new fridge, ample bedding. You will need beach towels, chairs, umbrella and your own hairdryer. Host has a bookshelf full of books and games for any ages. Overall a great week exploring OBX from this central location!

Excellent Views

No internet and A LOT of stairs. No elevator or freight elevator. A couple cleanliness issues but overall a great stay. Was truly nice to have the washer/dryer in the unit as well. Loved the little library in the condo!

Filthy and unkept

We got there only to find a bag of used feminine hygiene products in our bed, a dead cockroach next to the bed, and the floors completely unswept and not mopped. Counters were not wiped and we had to clean the entire unit when we got there which took hours out of our vacation and used our own cleaning supplies. When I wiped the one shower the wipe was brown from not being cleaned. We were told we'd receive a refund and that has not happened. Also while we stayed the toaster didn't work, the fridge was loud and thumping and the handle was half falling off. This unit is definitely not upkept well and the cleaning crew was horrible.

Nice place but it needs a few things

I really loved the location it was great place but when people go to the outer banks they go there to do fishing It would be nice to have fishing station where you could clean your fish and wash it off And a hose with running water this way you could clean fishing poles and bicyckes from riding on beach And a working toaster

Sisters Trip!

This was our very first sisters trip!! I have been coming to the outerbanks for years , but this was a first time for my sisters. The condo was absolutely perfect for our stay, size was perfect for the 3 of us and the water view was even better than I imagined it would. W! The bed was super comfy and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need for our short stay. My sisters fell in love with the outerbanks and we can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Very pleasant getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our nice long weekend. The condo was very nice and peaceful, and we had plenty of room. We were very pleased with it. The only slight downside was the walk up the stairs. We stayed on the 3rd level and it was alot of stairs to climb especially if you wanted to go out more than once a day.

Surround Sound is in a great location and sitting in the screened porch looking at the sound is amazing. The pool is a perfect size pending the size of you party. Max in my opinion would be 6 in the pool but can accommodate more sitting around the pool area. This years upgrades made it a perfect house.
