Welcome to Sandy Point Cottage! A 2-minute walk to the beach; perfect sandbar access for surfing. Walk or bike to Avon village restaurants.

Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home is perfect for your long-term stay. The primary bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom has bunk beds (for kids) and a double bed. Sleeps 5 guests comfortably.

The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. Enjoy two decks for sunbathing, reading, eating, grilling. Smart TV in the living room. Pet-friendly home. June, July, and August Saturday check-in and check-out only.

Great location

We loved it here! We were just a short walk to the beach, and honestly within walking distance to several good restaurants. The house was great, very comfortable. The kitchen could have been a little better stocked but otherwise, the house was clean and comfortable.

The house was just as listed. Check in easy everything was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, the beach was beautiful. I had one issue with the house, the host took care of everything promptly. We would stay there again thank you for everything.

Close to the beach

A minute walk brings you to a beautiful beach. Cottage was a perfect fit for a couple with a dog. Avon is far less busy than towns like Nags head and Kitty Hawk.

Great spot, close to beach access, we'll cleaned, quiet neighborhood. Close to Food Lion. Everything worked in unit, pictures accurately depict place. Would have benefited from some beach gear such as chairs or an umbrella since we flew in versus drove from home. Super wings nearby has gear

The staff at the restaurant called the police on our mixed race family. Apparently they were offended by non-white people speaking a language other than English. Chill Beach vacay

Cottage was as expected on listing. Cute decorations and welcoming home. Fit our needs perfectly. Super dog friendly. Beach walkway is about 100ft. From the cottage. This part of OXB is quieter and less tourists - which is what we wanted this time. Restaurants and great seafood market up the street. We enjoyed bodyboarding, beach, kayaking, sandboarding and jet skiing. Also fun to explore lighthouse and other towns. Great stay!

When there was no mention of condiments and such I should have taken it to heart. I didn’t realize there wouldn’t be even salt pepper or sugar. But that was my fault as I didn’t take for none. But otherwise it was a really nice place. I would rent it again but this time I would know to bring my own. In fact when we were there we left our salt and pepper for the next peopleWe loved the fact that we could bring our little 17 pound dog and 10 pound cat.
