We enjoyed our stay, place was clean and suited our needs. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was nice. We are a family that enjoys cooking together so the double oven was fantastic. Kitchen could use some additional serving bowls that arenât plastic and a new skillet. But overall a great stay.
We came to hike Hocking Hills and wish we would have added another day to ride the train and enjoy the house more. It was a lot of space and loved having so many bedrooms and bathrooms. The outdoor areas were nice too. We didn't get the chance to take advantage of the hot tub but wish we had. Each room did have at least one lightbulb burned out. But everything was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed, especially after they delivered firewood for us.
Lots of room. Good location- somewhat central to all the different hiking areas. Responsive host. Everything was supplied- towel, soaps, etc.
We had everything we needed to cook meals, grill and cook on the camp fire. Also able to use amenities at hilltop resort.
Property was well marked and easy to find. The house itself was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were sparsely but adequately furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and serviceable. The bathrooms were great. The children loved the yard and catching tadpoles in the Koi pond. There is a large stump covered with poison ivy immediately adjacent to the front door and deck area. It was a constant concern when the children were playing in the yard and should be removed by the host. Use caution around it. Also, living room sofa table has a broken leg and frame repaired with electricianâs tape. It was a hazard when the children were playing inside. It needs to be discarded and replaced by the host. Otherwise, our stay was great, and I would recommend this place to anyone with a large family.
The house is in a great central location between Logan and Hocking Hills activities. Everything was clean and check in/out very easy. One of the managers reached out to mail a charger we forgot, which was really nice.
The water has a strong sulphur smell so showers smell like eggs and we had to buy water to drink since we didn't want to try the tap water. The exterior needs attention. There's a giant shrub of poison ivy next to the outdoor seating area, one of the living room windows is cracked, and there's a sink hole in the patio next to the hot tub (they have it marked but it still feels sketchy).
It's a decent place if you don't need or expect fancy accomodations. Would probably stay here again if not for the water issue.
This property is beautiful and a perfect location to be close to Logan for restaurants, shops, etc. The house had plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. Communication was easy with the host and we had no issues. Planning a trip to come back soon! :)
Property needs some updates and maintenance needs to be up to speed. The stove needs to be replaced. Garbage disposal did not work. Washer was down which presented issues with clothing and towels. Having a toaster that accepts bagels would be nice instead of a toaster oven. The gas grill needs to be replaced it doesn't work. One of the lower bathrooms should be handicap accessible. The sink in the lower bathroom drained very slowly the maintenance man used liquid drano but it was ineffective. The beds were uncomfortable all the beds downstairs were the same style you could feel the bars underneath the mattresses. Water sulfur issue might be reduced significantly by using a whole house filtration system. Windows were cracked and needed to be replaced. The venetian blinds needed to be repaired or replaced. Couches are starting to show some wear. Staff were gracious and approachable. The layout of the home is great. House lacked adequate places to charge devices. Yard was nicely landscaped. Good parking.
We had a great time! The location is very good. Clean windows would improve the place a lot, but overall it was a great place to stay. Just needs some landscaping help also.
Six of us enjoyed our stay, except the futons should not be used by anyone over 10 years old. Hot water has strong sulfur smell, we brought gallon jug of water to make coffee & tea. Dead stinkbugs in upstairs bedrooms. Carpet squares used for bathroom rugs were not the cleanest. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay. Very scenic lawn area and quiet location.
Plenty of space for gathering as a family! 4 bedrooms & 3 full bathrooms a big plus. Plenty of towels & washclothes. A large kitchen table,
& enough kitchen and living room space for other family members staying in the area to join us for cooking & sharing a meal together. An older property that needs some repairs, but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our time together! Location is close to everything!
It was the perfect little place to stay with friends. It was to close to everywhere we went. Itâs spacious and cozy at the same time. I loved this place.
Property yard needs a manicure. The house itself was very nice, liked all the bedrooms. AC worked beautifully if you were on the first floor. One bedroom up stairs didn't have AC.Only bad thing about the house was the trim work kept falling off or wasn't even nailed on. Need better t paper. I would stay again.
Water smelled really bad. Fridge was a little small for 8 people. And we all wished the hot tub was with everything else out front. Other than that the place was really nice and close 2 everything.
This is a nice little house very close to Logan. It would benefit from a few exterior repairs, but the interior is very nice. There are three bedrooms on the main floor and one on the second floor. The second floor has another room with two futons in it. There are two bathrooms (both with showers only) on the main floor. The second floor has a full bathroom with a large tub and a tiny shower. There were plenty of towels, blankets and sheets for our group! We didnât cook during our stay, but the kitchen appeared to be fully furnished. There is an unfurnished, screened in area off of the room with the two futons. There is a hot tub in the back, a fire pit and seating area are located in the front. There is a small, decorative pond on the property that has a resident bullfrog!
I was very pleasantly surprised on how beautiful the house was decorated how spacious the house was laid out. We had everything we needed to have a great week. The house is close to town for supplies and restaurants but far enough away for privacy. I would definitely return.
The house was in good condition for the most part.Could use some maintenance. The water has a foul smell, windows in the front are cracked, the lawn needed mowing and the batteries in the tv remotes were all dead and leaking.
