Convenient location to Lackland AFB

Host was very responsive. Had everything we needed & was very clean. The only negative was a scented plug in that was overpowering when you walked in. Once we found it, we unplugged it & turned on air cleaner on high.

Amazing property and close to Lackland AFB

If you are coming to the area for a BMT graduation this is the place to stay. We stayed here for our daughter’s BMT graduation. The house is very close to the Valley Hi gate and the house had everything we needed. The owners thought of everything to stock the kitchen. We had a small issue with the smoke detectors, but the owners were very responsive and had the issue fixed the same day. The backyard was also a nice plus. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

JBSA Graduation

If you and your family are coming to San Antonio for graduation, THIS is perfect! Plenty of space for you and your Airman to relax and spend some time together. Close to base, restaurants, etc. we really enjoyed our stay. Ruth was a gem to work with.

Air force graduation visit

This house was perfect for an Air Force graduation visit…we brought our Air man for a few hours before dinner so he could relax and feel a little bit of home. The house was very clean and comfortable. And communication with the property manager was very helpful. I highly recommend it!!!

Great Place to Stay In General - Especially for Air Force Graduation

Very convenient to Air Force Base & Wal-Mart. Host responded quickly to questions. The home is very clean and well laid out (cozy) to just hang out with family. We would definitely stay here again if going to San Antonio. Wife Comments: One of my favorite vrbo experiences. Super clean. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Beds and couches werewonderfully comfy, with plenty of seating and room for 2 tall people to stretch out in the LR. Kitchentable seats 6. Blackout curtains came in handy – our sleep-deprived Airman needed a nap.Bedrooms have soft plush carpet that seems pretty new.Showers have amazing water pressure and no shortage of hot water. FYI, Master bath shower, pull up on shower door to close completely. Towels are 100% cotton & Oeko- Tex rated, and there were plenty. TP was 1-ply type, which doesn’t create lint. There’s a hair dryer and even 2 umbrellas – super helpful. Big front loader W/D set with detergent pods. Plenty of plastic hangers – good for letting delicates air dry.Kitchen pantry was very well stocked, including plenty of lidded plastic food storage boxes and various size bowls. Spice rack was appreciated. Stove was clean inside. Most of the pans did have nonstick coating, and most of the cooking utensils were the black plastic type, common for vrbos, but there was a set of 3 nesting pots that were not nonstick, and I found 1 glass casserole dish.If you’re there for BMT, this is a perfect spot. Only about 10min drive (on 2-lane roads) from base...

Our stay was amazing. The home was clean and spacious I recommend this home to anyone in town for BMT. The gate to the base is super close. We will stay again if ever in town.

Perfect For Us

Son graduated from the Air Force. Perfect distance, perfect set up for my family. Very clean everything you need if you were to cook there. We ended up eating out because we were on a time crunch. But, absolutely everything you could want or need.

Wonderful Retreat!

We loved our stay at this well-equipped home, which had plenty of space for our family. The beds were not too firm, which was a plus as I slept well every night. We were all grateful for the extra fans! The bedroom linens were clean, and the whole house smelled fresh! The bathrooms were well-stocked, and the water pressure in the showers was tremendous. The kitchen was also well-stocked, and the pantry had extra helpful items for our indoor days. The backyard was well-maintained with a lovely desert theme, perfect for evening outdoor hangouts. The garage was a great feature, although it could only fit two regular-size vehicles and may not accommodate larger vehicles. Check-in was easy, and Ruth was a great hostess, answering any concerns we had in a timely manner. The only thing this home may need to improve is ceiling fans in the other two bedrooms. Other than that, the house was fantastic! I would highly recommend renting this home, and it is a beautiful gem.

Amazing house minutes from base!

My family and I needed a place near base and this place fit all of our needs. The owner responded quickly to any questions I had. Would recommend for anyone needing a place to stay while visiting base for USAF graduation! Thank you so much for having us.

Perfect place

We stayed here for my daughter’s BMT graduation. Close to the base, it was great to be able to come back to the house and relax with her and other family that was in town to celebrate her. Very clean, great neighbors and our little kids loved the backyard. Definitely recommend.

Great House

This was a great find for us for a long weekend to watch the eclipse. Location was fine to see San Antonio and we also went to Austin. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our group of 5. I would stay again if in the area.

Fabulous and extremely cozy!

The house welcomed us in with fresh smell, clean linens, and a above average amenties. I only wish the dishes were glass or a higher quality melamine dishes. Other than that it was fabulous! I would surely return again!

Everything you need in a home away from home.

This property was everything you need in a home away from home. The house is tastefully decorated, providing a feeling of relaxation and calm. Agree with other comments about entertainment. Having more than one television to entertain multiple people would have been great. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay at this lovely, well-maintained home.

Great place for Lackland Graduation CLOSE!

We decided this location for vrbo rental because of being literally moments from Luke East gate. The stay at the house was awesome. Very comfortable primary bedroom, split away from the other 2 bedrooms. Nice privacy. Kitchen was well stocked and pantry had the little things already supplied. Clean and neat and nice grills to relax in back yard. New landscaping in backyard to play fun yard games. We cornhole family and boards were in garage. Neighborhood is quiet and nice neighbor next door. Our new airman love love loved it. Felt as close to home as possible along with 5 min back to base, no traffic. Thank you Ruth! Great rental! :).
