Welcome to paradise! This will be a vacation you won’t forget! The Blue Mermaid is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom beach house built in 2019 and located in the popular resort community of Morgantown. It offers plenty of room for families to enjoy some much-needed relaxation and recreation.

An open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area greet you as you enter the house from the entry stairs. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on this level. The second floor has a master bedroom with an ensuite bath, a guest bedroom with an ensuite bath, and another guest bedroom.

★ There is also a table and chairs on the deck for outdoor dining
The laundry room offers a full-size washer and dryer which are available for use during your stay.
Guests are welcome to use various beach and recreation items. This often includes reclining beach chairs, a beach wagon, boogie boards, tennis equipment, and cornhole boards but may vary throughout the season.
For our young guests, we provide a pack 'n' play (byo sheet), high chair, and children's dinnerware.
We provide a starter supply of the following: toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, laundry detergent, and dishwasher detergent. Depending on your length of stay, you may need to bring more.
Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles (2 under the house and 2 in the driveway). Street parking and RV parking is not permitted.
Dog Friendly: Up to two dogs (house-trained) are allowed in the home and must be included on the reservation to be approved. Cats and/or any other pet animals are not permitted. We provide a crate, dog bowls, and bags for dog poop disposal. The neighborhood and beach are also dog-friendly (dog must be on a leash at all times when outdoors).
★ You'll have access to the entire home with the exception of one locked owner's closet
★ Access to multiple community beach boardwalks within walking distance
★ Access to 2 resort pools as well as a kiddie pool (note: smaller pool being updated and under construction until end of March 2025)
★ Access to tennis courts which are also lined for pickleball
★ Parking for 4 vehicles in the private driveway
We are available 9am-6pm via platform messaging/email. While we do not reside full-time in the area, we have a cleaning and maintenance team in town that helps us address any issues. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
You will be able to self check-in with a door code provided 2 days prior to your arrival. You do not need to check-in at an office or pick up a key. Check-in time is at 4:00pm and check-out time is at 10:00am. We are unfortunately unable to accommodate any early check-ins or late departures. This is to ensure our cleaning crew has ample time to clean and sanitize before and after your stay.
★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★
Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the cabin. Any smoking evidence will result in a $500 fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning.
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our cabin as your own to preserve its condition for future guests and your return visits.
★ AMMENITIES ★
In case of hurricanes or inclement weather or due to necessary repairs, certain amenities may be closed and/or unavailable during your stay. We cannot guarantee the availability of each amenity. Travel insurance is highly recommended. Thank you very much for your understanding.
