Welcome to Starfish Cottage! This exceptional 4BR/3BA home features 1,201 square feet of living space, including a newly renovated kitchen. Enjoy amazing ocean views and breezes from the open or covered back deck. The level you enter is charmingly elevated on stilts and is accessible via a lovely set of stairs, with a cozy garage tucked underneath. There's delightful decking off the back that invites you to the private swimming pool, perfect for relaxation. Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire house, making it a wonderful getaway! Just a minute's walk to the beach!

LIVING AREA

Relax in a bright, charming living area with vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. Unwind with the family and watch a movie on the 50 flat-screen TV. Ocean views are available from almost any window in the home.

KITCHEN & DINING

The freshly renovated kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked to accommodate all your favorite recipes.

Sit down for a special dinner at the dining table with seating for six or at the breakfast bar with seating for four.

BED & BATH

The home sleeps up to nine guests in four bedrooms (king, king, queen, full-size, and twin). Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV.

All bedrooms have access to a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. An additional full bath off the main living area provides added convenience.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Rock the day away on the large front deck while enjoying the ocean breeze and beautiful views of Ocean Isle. The back porch is a combination of both a covered and an uncovered area enjoy a drink or a light meal while admiring the ocean vistas.

Take advantage of the gas grill and cookout next to the unheated pool. Dine alfresco at the picnic table on the pool deck.

The backyard is fenced for privacy, and an outdoor shower is handy for rinsing off after fun-filled beach days.

EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, a washer/dryer, as well as board and card games.

Parking is available for four cars (two in the garage and two in the driveway). Street parking is not permitted.

With public beach access just steps away in either direction, you will be on the beach within 1-2 minutes from the Starfish Cottage!

Enjoy proximity to all the amazing Ocean Isle shops and activities along the island.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

This place accommodated our family just perfect with the pool and very close to beach to walk to. we loved it here and would totally stay here again.

Family vacay

Other than Debby sending us home early we had a great stay. This house is positioned perfectly between the beach and the road. Beach access is two houses down and very easy to get too. The house is very cozy and fit 6 adults comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook dinners easily.

Great little cottage

We come to Ocean Isle every summer. This was the first time staying at this location. The house was clean and the perfect size for my family. We very much enjoyed the pool! We will definitely be back!

Starfish Vacation

This house was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed for the perfect stay! It was very clean and well maintained. The decor was cozy and the beds were super comfortable. Home away from home!

The Starfish Cottage has become a home away from home! I have rented this house many times, and each stay gets better and better. The owners take great pride in continually making upgrades, including to flooring, painting, new bathroom fixtures, and most recently, all new kitchen appliances. The location and views can't be beat. Will be visiting again soon!

Wonderful vacation!

We loved this cottage and it was perfect for our family. It was well stocked, extremely clean and a one minute walk to the beach. The pool was well maintained. Further, we had some damage from a storm and Vacasa was there within hours to take care of the problem.

Everything we needed

This house was perfect and well kept. It was clean and met all our needs. The pool was so nice and enjoyed by my family. It was nice to have all the pool toys and floats available. Plenty of board games, even a corn hole game and yard size connect four. We reserved for 2025 so we are all set. You will have no regrets with this beach home!

Favorite Beach Rental

My family and I had a wonderful visit to the Starfish Cottage! This home has beautiful views for coffee in the morning, a short walk to the beach to enjoy the ocean, and a refreshing pool to take a relaxing dip in the afternoon. It includes everything you need to make a delicious meal at home (including a grill, which we used for fresh seafood several nights), and thoughtful amenities, like charging stations and plenty of hooks for hanging damp towels and bathing suits. The beds provide a comfortable place to rest after a day at the beach, or an afternoon touring one of the local sites. I have stayed at this home with friends, cousins, and most recently, my immediate family, and each time it has worked out perfectly. Don’t miss this gem in Ocean Isle!

Starfish Cabin

Great for adults. Pool was a plus in the heat in the 90’s this week. House is convenient to beach- they provide a cart to carry chairs etc. to the beach. Steps not convenient for W/C access- handicapped. Under house garage w/ a lot of room, water toys and a refrigerator for keeping drinks cold. A couple of issues that were promptly addressed by property management. Great family vacation for us!

First time in OIB we loved it!!!

Home is absolutely precious and inviting. It was a perfect fit for our family of 6 adults. The pool was a wonderful addition and getting to and from the beach was a breeze. Would love to come here again!

Beautiful home!

Perfect vacation home!

Starfish cottage has beautiful views, a great layout. It was clean and spacious - well stocked - we loved the thoughtful touches & multiple decks to see the ocean views. 4 good sized bedrooms were just what our crowd needed. We enjoyed the grill and gorgeous pool deck with sun, shade and a great outdoor shower! The dogs were safe and enjoyed being poolside too!

Old Guys Golf Trip

House was great and met our needs. Property is as advertised and outside area was an additional delight. The nice deck is great to hang out in the sun, but also a nice table / chairs under a roof overhang that provides shade. While we did not use the pool as the weather in April was just a tad cool for us, it looked great and another great area to enjoy. Very satisfied and would rent again as well as recommend to all needing a 4 br house w/3 bathrooms..

Great location!

This was the perfect house for our New Year’s family trip. The house was just as described. It is well stocked with everything you will need. It is located far enough away from the main town center so traffic is reduced. Being on the ocean side is nice so you can enjoy the view and sounds of the ocean. Will definitely come back!!

Wonderful stay

Beautiful property with wonderful ocean views including direct sunrise on ocean horizon. Wonderful spot for dogs as they have fence around backyard and upper deck. Garage is nice and big and pool was nice and clean. Beach chairs and toys were available. House was clean and cozy with board games and puzzles. Towards the end so less traffic and people on the beach. Beach access beside house is closed so a little walk but not bad. Overall we will go back

A disappointment

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great house, pool and location. However, the place needs a lot of work. We were told there would be paper products and there were none. The shower liners in each of the bathrooms were black and gray at the bottoms with mold. It took them 2 days to bring out new ones. We had no Internet or cable upon our arrival. All that being said TurnKey did respond promptly to the Internet issue and even issued us a $35 credit for the lack of TV and Internet on our first day. They were always pleasant when we called.

Our stay at Starfish Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice stay at this vacation rental. The walk to the beach was a little further than my husband could do because of some heart issues but we were able to sit on deck and watch the waves come in. The children and grandchildren really enjoyed having a pool to swim in. The only issue was that the wind was up one day and got a lot of debris in the pool and they were unable to swim. We did have to get in touch with rental company about 2 issues 1.deck board sticking up 2.the grill was nasty. They got back to us quickly about both issues. The deck issue was resolved but the grill issue never really was.

Great Little Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed the pool and overall setting of this cottage. I wished the living space was a little larger (mainly because I had two kids with me, along with several adults). The bedrooms were very roomy, although the beds didn't sleep the best for us. I really wish there was direct beach access. The views were pretty good. Overall was pleased with this house.
