Situé au coin de East 2nd Street et Concord, ce chalet de plage a non seulement une vue sur l'océan depuis le porche couvert avant, mais aussi une vue magnifique sur le canal depuis le porche arrière couvert. Ce qui le rend encore mieux, c'est que vous n'êtes qu'à quelques minutes à pied de la plage (accès public sur Concord), ainsi qu'à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville d'Ocean Isle Beach pour faire du shopping, des restaurants, un mini-golf, un quai de pêche, ainsi que toute autre activité saisonnière de l'OIB. Pour les propriétaires de bateaux, le doc canal privé offre un accès direct à l'ICW.

La cuisine a tous les nouveaux appareils - réfrigérateur, four, micro-ondes et lave-vaisselle. Nous avons même une nouvelle laveuse / sécheuse!

This was a great property for our group of 9. We loved the proximity to the Concord St Beach access as well as the pool. Kitchen was very well appointed and we cooked all our meals for the week.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at OIB. We had a small issue with the code on the door but Brad was great at adjusting and helping us problem solve. Having the pool was a great break from the sand and beach and the house was big and roomy for all of us!

Excellent property and location!

We had a great time at Brad’s place. The location is excellent and it was great to have a pool available when we got tired of being sandy in the afternoons. They did a nice remodel to this house. Brad was very responsive and helpful to all our inquiries as well.

Amazing home

Location, amenities, private pool … this house is amazing. It was our first time to OIB but not our last and we want to stay here again! the bedrooms were great for our blended families and the bathrooms each had a walk in shower - very nice!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at Brad’s place. It’s beautifully decorated, had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The beach is a very short walk & the pool was nice to cool off in after a fun day at the beach. We loved sitting in the rockers every morning. This was our first time to Ocean Isle, we loved it and will definitely be back. Thanks Robin

What a great vacation we had at this place. Perfect for our family of 10 - easy walk to the beach - loved having our own pool with shaded area for the adults to sit while the kids played! Exactly what we were looking for! Also, the downstairs bedrooms were great - no humidity problem at all!

Another great week in OIB

This was our second summer staying at this beach house. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We love the close proximity to the beach, the pool and the layout of the home. We didn’t need to message the property owner for anything during our stay. We loved the new rockers on the front porch this year. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Location Location

This house is in a great location and the pool was a great place to hang out with our extended family members. We have stayed here before and the house has been updated over the years. The only reason we would be unlikely to stay here again is the musty air in the downstairs bedrooms. Despite using the ductless air and dehumidifier consistently, there is still dampness in the air. I would also recommend providing cheap beach chairs for the season for convenience of the guests. Otherwise the house is fantastic and close to everything.

Location, location, location and then some

Nice OIB property, very clean and well supplied. Short walk to the beach and on those too-hot-to-go-to-the-beach days, the poolside life was delightful. We're kayakers and SUPers, so being right on the canal was an extra plus. The mustiness from being closed up dissipated 95% after the air conditioners kicked in to exchange the air. We have a few highly allergic/asthmatic folks in our group and had NO PROBLEMS with the air quality!!! I would have rated it 4.75 stars if I could; only drawback was no interior access to the beds and bath downstairs. The teenagers who lived down there for a week would probably have given a 7 star rating for that very same reason. We would not hesitate to book it again when we come back to OIB.

Great location-2 bedrooms downstairs have issues

We had great communication with the homeowner up to the point of having issues with the refrigerator and AC upon arrival. The refrigerator had a difficult time keeping up with the transition of guests, but began working by the next morning. It still didn't keep drinks extremely cold. The AC did not get fixed until the next day and it took until late into the night for it to cool down. The contact number left for the homeowner was incorrect, but we were able to get in touch with the VRBO app. The downstairs bedrooms have a dehumidifier that is not mentioned in the descriptions. The first morning we woke up the linens and items in the room were damp. We had to empty the dehumidifier twice each day in order for it to work. When reaching out to the homeowner he took longer to respond AND said that it wouldn't be fixed until Saturday....the day we were leaving. We had to continue to empty twice a day. When reaching out about our concern, we never heard a reply from the homeowner. This is not acceptable service. You also have to go outside and come into the house for access to the kitchen and living area. Also, the home had dog hair on the cushions and rugs outside. We had a guest allergic to dogs and when I reached out to ask about whether there had been dogs present, I was again heard nothing. We asked for a price adjustment for our issues, which were many, but still have not heard a reply. We will obviously not be staying at this home again, which is sad because it is a great location.

Perfect family vacation

My family loves to vacation in OIB and this was our first year at this property. We absolutely loved the location - it’s a corner lot on the canal so you don’t have neighbors right on top of you and there is a public beach access one block away. The smaller sized pool and fenced in yard were perfect for our small children. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was also kid-friendly which was a huge plus! We loved the front and back porches for morning and evening relaxing. It was very easy to communicate with the owner, although we didn’t really need anything. We usually like to try a new beach house every summer but we enjoyed our stay here so much, we already booked it for next year!

Wonderful property 1 block from beach

We loved our experience at this property. The owner was very responsive and I only had a few questions to ask. The dock was perfect for a fishing break from the beach and the pool was a definite bonus. Would gladly stay at this location again in Ocean Isle.

Great week with beautiful weather!

Beautiful, newly renovated house with a very short walk to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival we were very disappointed with the cleaning job. We spent a lot of time on our first day cleaning ourselves. I didn't think to let Brad know until that evening. He quickly responded and worked to make it right by offering a credit and for the cleaning company to come back out which we declined. In general, there were a couple things that needed a deep clean and could not be remedied with such a quick turn-a-around with renters. Other than that hiccup, everything else was wonderful. Beds were very comfortable, and comforters were great. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the private pool was super nice to come back to at the end of a long beach day. Only other thing I wish this house had for the price was shared beach supplies, especially chairs, and a wagon.

Great family vacation home.

We loved our stay. We had ages ranging from 4 to 87 and everyone of us had a great time. The pool was wonderful and walking to the beach was just minutes away. I would stay again and again. Our host answered any questions we had and gave lots of suggestions. Loved Ocean Isle Beach!

Brad was great to communicate with pre, during, & post stay. This was my first time at OIB. My son was there w a friend last summer & I wanted to give it a try over our normal NMB. I can’t wait to go back in-season! Brad’s house is still very enjoyable off-season with heated pool, backyard dock, & a view of the ocean from the front porch & master bedroom. The layout of the house is fantastic! Great open floor plan upstairs with basically separate living qtrs (2br/1ba) downstairs w their own entrance. I had 3 teenage boys that enjoyed their space & I enjoyed having mine too 😁. We didn’t use 2 of the bedrooms upstairs, which was a bummer bc they are all so nice. I fell in love with the comforters - great feel and weight. Comfy bed. Even some pillows are really nice! (How often does that happen? Lol) I love their digital lock system so much that I want one for home now. It was so easy to use & efficient. FULL size, very nice LG w/d. One amenity that is a must have for me. Im accustomed to the smaller sized stacked units in most beach rentals. Not this one. Kitchen appliances are great too. The kitchen is spacious and very well-stocked. I could be cooking without yelling at boys to get out of my way - it was great 😁 Grilling out & having family dinner with all of us around the table made this momma’s heart happy. Our friends from home came to visit & also loved this place. I really liked the location - so centrally located. If you have a boat…this is a GREAT house for you. I will disclose that you can hear traffic on the road from the front bedrooms (as others have mentioned - it is a main road), but it was not bothersome to me. The only other thing… the low water pressure. I’ve definitely experienced worse, but with my thick hair it took me a little longer in the shower & rinsing dishes. We rented a golf cart from Ajax (good experience with them as well - even through a defective cart & switchout). I definitely recommend a golf cart for OIB (& we liked our lifted 5 person - prob won’t go back to regular size). The beach is only a block away. It would not be a bad walk w wagon full of gear, but the cart makes it easier. This house gives you the best of both worlds - beach & intercoastal. Great floor plan for entertaining, private in-ground heated pool, nice fenced in yard with dock off the back. Plenty of seating. Also plenty of parking for 5+ cars, if need be. I hope you enjoy your time here as much as we did. Cheers 😊

After our first trip to Ocean isle for a long weekend last year we fell in love with the Island. Started searching for a house that had a pool and boat dock in our price range. This house exceeded all our needs with a heated pool to enjoy in the evenings after a day of boating or enjoying the the beach. The new dock worked great for my 19ft boat. I was a little worried about low tide since this was the last dock in the canal but no issues at all. The house was fully remodeled and had everything we needed for our week stay. Location was perfect, just a couple blocks from the center of Island so anytime we needed something from the local gas station it was a quick trip to Sheffield’s. Old school locally owned store with a little bit of everything and and anything else you may need is just across the bridge. The front and back porch have plenty of seating to enjoy the views and people watching. Brad was very responsive with any questions we had. Highly recommend, just not the week we want it next year! LOL
