Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Close to Centralia and Chehalis and far enough from the cities to enjoy the slower pace of rural living. Watch wildlife from the back deck or take a stroll along the nearby Willapa Hills Trail. A quick commute to I-5 and centrally located between Seattle and Portland. This is a fresh, clean townhome (unit J) in a quiet setting. 1,250 sq ft.
Very comfortable little place to stay. Appreciated all the amenities in the house (a few toys and books for children, spices, toiletries to name a few). We would definitely consider staying there again if in the area!
The home was comfortable and met all my needs. I felt like I was in a wooded area but only a few miles from the interstate for my venturing out. Responsive owners. I would stay again if I were traveling to the area.
My friend and I had a lovely few days in this sweet little home. Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, everything we needed. The back of the home opened up to a deck and a large yard, which would have definitely been utilized if it wasnât February! The owners were very responsive to our questions and needsâŠ.so much nicer than dealing with a property management company. We really enjoyed our time at Fern Hill!
Stayed several nights for an event in Chehalis. House was comfortable and clean. Managers were very communicative in the week leading up to our stay.Check-in was a breeze. Phone service (Verizon) was pretty spotty, but WiFi was good.House is well stocked and has a full complement of kitchen gadgets (crockpot, Keurig, pots, pans, utensils).Beds are comfortable and led to a couple good nights of sleep.Good trip and a nice stay.
Property was perfect for the two of us. Located about 15 minutes from Centralia fields in a quiet area.
Home was nice and clean and is everything we needed. Lots of nice towels and the checkin and checkout process was simple.
The place was clean and very well stocked with everything youâd need cook, including some basic spices. The kids loved the yard and the games, and each having their own bed!
Perfect Stay with Excellent Amenities and Host Service
We had a wonderful stay at this property while traveling with my elderly parents for medical appointments. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-equipped the space wasâeverything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay was provided. The kitchen had all the essentials, the living area was cozy and inviting, and the bedrooms were spacious and comfy. We especially appreciated the little touches, like extra blankets, high-quality toiletries, and a welcome basket with snacks! The host was absolutely fantastic. Communication was clear and prompt, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and we were comfortable.Overall, this place truly felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free and comfortable stay!
My family and I stayed here for two nights during a 9 week road trip in our pop up camper. This stop allowed us to reorganize our lives a bit- do laundry and restock groceries. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the unit, on par with the best we've seen! Check in/out simple. Good stay for kids too!
The location was perfect for our combination visit to Mt. Rainer and a family wedding. The property manager could not have been nicer. She answered any questions we had instantly. The property was sparkling clean, organized and quiet. There were even fresh flowers on the back patio! It is a peaceful location, particularly as you look out the back patio. Would definitely stay again.
This house fit our needs perfectly. We were in town for a nearby wedding. We shared the room with our children and our adult kid in the other room. It gave us a good place to stay and was convenient to get around to functions and restaurants in the area.
This property was perfect for our gatherings with my grandson, his wife and two children. My daughter and I stayed at the house⊠lovely, comfy beds, two full bathrooms and a spacious kitchen and eating area. When our family came each day (they live in Chehalis) to visit there was plenty of room for the two little ones 2 and 4 to play and the adults to enjoy them. There were books and games for them and for all ages too. The backyard is spacious and the location is near beautiful parks. An ideal house with a lovely kitchen and an accessible laundry room. We will definitely rent this home again the next time we come to visit!
We came down for our grandsons wedding and had a wonderful clean and warm place to stay! We even had a warm feline visitor at the back door. So soft and friendly, (we did not let him in or feed him), it put a nice top to our visit. Tim, the owner worked with me in ironing out all the details for booking the vrbo for our weekend. PS, the wedding went off without a hitch! It was truly a beautiful day for the bride and groom!
Five girls who met in seventh grade and graduated in 1962 from INGRAHAM high school get together every fall to laugh tell stories and share memories. So thatâs what we did. We loved your retreat and everything was so nice and clean and cozy and new. Our only suggestion would be some hooks in the upstairs bathroom to hang our towels on.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Our family of 5 (3 generations) stayed together for a short weekend for our daughterâs sports competition near by. With the rainy weather, the house was cozy and quiet and well outfitted with almost everything we needed. We especially appreciated the assortment of teas and coffees. The only thing we could possibly recommend is a little more silverware and maybe a basic note about using the tv remotes (for those of a more senior age. ) The other thing was due to our late arrival on a stormy night.. the road to the driveway is a little tricky to locate. Maybe some solar lighting would help. The house was very comfortable and worked well for our group of 5⊠grandparents stayed in one room and my two teens and I stayed in the other bedroom, all fitting comfortably in the 3 beds, which I appreciate
Wrong code very difficult to get hold of someone. Phone # should be available or email not vitual assitant. Beds average to below and no TV unless you had Royku account. NCAA basketball on and could not even watch CBS. Luckily here for mothers 90th birthday and spent little time there.
Tim and Christie have been involved in Christian ministry work for over 20 years together. They currently serve God and others in various ministries in Tampa, FL. They grew up in the Pacific Northwest and still enjoy it here - biking, kayaking, hiking and clam digging are all things they enjoy.
Fern Hill is a quiet place with great neighbors. It is close to I-5 and centrally located between Seattle and Portland. There are so many outdoor activities to do in Southwest Washington. You'll enjoy the rural feeling while being close to shopping and the friendly towns of Centralia and Chehalis.
Where else can you visit the majestic Pacific Ocean and then 5,400 feet up at Paradise, Mt Rainier in one day? The beauty of the Northwest abounds in Southwest Washington, and Fern Hill Retreat is in the middle of it all.
