A Place At The Beach offers extensive amenities and one of the best family getaways imaginable - there's practically no reason to ever leave the resort grounds!

Can’t you just see the excitement on your children’s faces as they approach the outdoor swimming pool and water slide or the nine-hole putt-putt golf course? Don't forget about the hot tub, the shuffleboard, the tennis and basketball courts, the game room, and the gas grills. There's even an indoor pool should the rain ever decide to move in. Ready to hit the beach? You can follow the walkway to the beautiful, white sand of the Crystal Coast and ride the waves, soak up the sun, or collect seashells.

This beautifully updated condo is located on the first floor and has all the comforts of home, including plenty of seating in the living room where you can enjoy your favorite shows on the large flatscreen cable TV or watch a DVD. Step outside, have a seat on the balcony, and unwind as you breathe in the fresh ocean air. There's also a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary major and small appliances (including a stacked washer/dryer), a dining table for six, and additional seating at the counter.

The primary bedroom features a king bed, a TV, a ceiling fan, private balcony access, and a private bathroom with a stall shower. The second bedroom, located near the second full bathroom, has a twin-over-double bunk bed and a single trundle bed to accommodate many sleeping configurations. The second bedroom also has an enclosed ceiling fan with dimmable light, and a TV and DVD combo for streaming or viewing movies. The second bedroom TV is not connected to cable. Free WiFi is provided for your ease and convenience as well.

Weekend with my sons

A Place at the Beach is an excellent place to enjoy the beach. With it's very clean facilities, well manicured grounds and great location. I highly recommend.

Lovely facility and location

We loved so much about our stay at Atlantic Beach. A Place at the Beach was ideal due to its large pool(and slide!), short walk to the beach, and quick drive to just about everything else. We slept comfortably and will recall our week with fond memories. Thank you!

A great condo at the resort

We loved having a first floor condo this year! Made it so much easier to lug around all our beach stuff, wagon, and kids’ pool items. We also loved the space of the beds, the big kitchen table, and the chairs on the balcony. Could improve on cleanliness upon arrival and the washer had a musty odor when using. Overall, a great week stay!

Dirty Room

Room wasn't clean at check in time. They rushed to clean it, and it was nssty. Toothpaste in the sink, acfulic fingernail found on the floor, etc. No cable or smart tv in the kids bedroom, terrible internet. Just bad!

Great location but comes with some issues

This little condo is in a spectacular location and the "resort" it's in is supremely well kept. Overall the condo was pretty well appointed, but the lack of storage space (ie one dresser in the master with an already full closet) was a huge issue. The living room felt comfy but everywhere else felt fairly cramped, the use of the space could use some improvement.

Fantastic Unit

Overall this unit was wonderful. We ran into an issue with the fancy ceiling fan light switch in the first bedroom. Maintenance responded very quickly, they were unable to resolve the issue but they did everything in their power to provide an adequate solution. A few general recommendations (not impactful enough to classify as a complaint by any means): a curved shower curtain rod in the baths would go a long way to not feeling attacked every time you shower, the master bed did leave a lot of cushioning to be desired…to the point that I had bruises on my hips (I’m a side sleeper), the washing machine was not open when we arrived nor did we think about it until going to do laundry two days before leaving…we had to purchase a cleaning kit to remove as much mold from the machine as possible before washing clothes, the provided toaster oven does not function and there is no other toaster…we improvised and made toast in a pan, the balcony light was out (literally did not care, just wanted to let you know). With all of that being said there were plenty of clean linens, lots of dishes and cookware, the air conditioning kept up like a pro, beautiful decor, fantastic location in the building! We would absolutely stay here again!!

Relaxing Stay, Well-Appointed Condo

My husband and I were able to enjoy a relaxing week away in condo #158. The condo was well-appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen for food prep. The unit includes a washing machine and dryer, which was convenient. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable and there were lots of books and games for all ages! We made use of the Scrabble board and kept a running game for the entire week! The condo is located on the first floor with easy parking lot access near the main office and entrance gate. However, the balcony does not offer a view of the beach, only the parking lot and indoor pool area. The pool was perfect, beach was relaxing, and the sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. Hope to return next year!

This was our second time staying at this complex. We love it here! This unit was much nicer and newer than the first place we stayed and super clean! I wish we would’ve known to pick up the keys at vacasa first ahead of time before going to a place at the beach but other than that everything was perfect! This place is amazing for the kids, we love staying here and will be back!

Mother's Day Weekend

We have stayed at A Place at the Beach for 25+ years and this is by far the best unit we have stayed in. It was spotless, perfectly decorated and fully stocked. We will definitely book this unit in the future!
