This property is NOT worth staying at the ONLY good thing about it is the location! Our room wasnât what I booked so we were moved to a suit. The tub was dirty and had ants in the bathroom, towels were stained, shower curtain was dirty, the bathroom handle had rust on it. We called room service for the pull out bed for sheets and covers and they NEVER came! I went to get them and the guy said they didnât know if they had covers but could get sheets. I checked out early due to the ants and my son being allergic and still have not gotten a refund! This place is a joke!
The only negative thing to say about the property is that we were placed on the 5th floor and the room smelled very mildewy. We took care of this with febreeze to be able to stand the smell for a couple days. However, the rest of the property was great, well set up, and the shuttle to Universal was super convenient. The bus dropped you off close the entrance and had multiple pick up and drop off times!
Great rate compensates the obvious limitations of the venue. Convenience is its greatest asset being in front of Universal Studios and walking distance from the large Outlet.
The staff was great.
The rest was dirty,
It was just a bed.
Tv didnât work, bad wifi, no hair dryer, no iron, just a bed in an old room. One elevator with expired inspection in 2020. Charged us for free parking
Room was clean. Great service provided by the front desk. Loved having the pool available from 9-11 at night. All in all a great stay and really close to universal :) would stay again
I liked the fact that you could walk to Universal from the hotel. I also liked that the lobby store was open most times. The staff was very attentive and polite. The property for the most part was clean but the hallways and elevators seemed to be neglected. The elevators made terrible noises while moving and the whole hotel needs updating and paint in some areas. For instance in the hallway on the forth floor there were parts of the design fabric missing in some areas, the walls were dinged and in need of paint. I would give this place 3 out of 5 stars.
The first night we checked in the room they gave us smelled the carpet was wet then I went and let them know they changed my room the other room we went to the other room they gave us when we got there the bathroom wasnât clean never again I will not be going back
Literally across the street from Universal Studios property (although a 15-20 walk to the park entrance. Not as clean or well maintained as other places we've stayed, but the air-conditioning worked and we didn't spend much time in the room. Staff was friendly.
Well the first thing Is the smell and cleanness.
The entire Building carpet needs to be replaced ⊠the smell is not great and does not set a great impression. Second the toilet did not work , we had to pour water into the tank in order for it to flush.
The hotel was clean but old. The A/C worked but did not keep the space cool. The "kids eat free" promotion was not explained. If you want to take advantage of this perk, make sure to ask for the coupons when you check in.
