Log Home de luxe plus récent, 3/3 Plus Loft avec de hauts plafonds. 2 foyers, 1 intérieur et 1 extérieur, la maison a de nombreux accents de bois et de bois. Cette maison donne sur le lac Glenville et les Smoky Mountains. La température moyenne en été est de 75 degrés et belle, la chute a un beau changement de couleurs.

Nous avons un court de tennis privé au bord du lac ainsi qu'un accès au lac avec 2 kayaks pour votre usage. Nous avons Internet haute vitesse et télévision par satellite et stéréo avec son surround. La maison est située entre les villes de caissiers et Highlands. Highlands est une belle petite ville très pittoresque avec une salle de spectacle et de nombreux restaurants 5 étoiles à manger en plein air.

Il a également beaucoup de beaux magasins pour votre plaisir. Il y a 30 cascades à une heure de route et de nombreux sites pittoresques. Nous sommes à une altitude de 4 000 mètres, 45 km après Ashville, qui est l'aéroport le plus proche. De nombreuses activités de plein air sont à votre disposition: le domaine Biltmore, le chemin de fer Great Smoky Mountain Railroad ...

La région est célèbre pour son rafting en eau vive. Il existe de nombreux sentiers de randonnée ou vous pouvez tenter votre chance à la pêche à la mouche. Si vous aimez le golf, vous avez de la chance - il y a de nombreux terrains de golf de première classe à 20 minutes.

Notre maison est très privée et se trouve sur 2 1/2 acres; on ne peut pas le voir de la route principale. Nous sommes dans une petite communauté fermée avec des routes pavées et il y a environ 30 sites résidentiels à l'intérieur.

Family Weekend Getaway

My family had a wonderful time at this lovely cabin. It was very clean. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the ease and comfort of their guests. We will definitely be back.

Spectacular place to stay

This was the perfect getaway for our family! The view from the porch is incredible and the outdoor fireplace was a wonderful place to gather in the evening. The house was beautiful and very clean and the location was perfect for enjoying the lake and going into town. Lots of amazing hikes nearby as well! We hope to come back again soon.

Fantastic house!

A wonderful house, so well appointed! It had everything we needed and THAT VIEW! We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace so much and walked down to the lake to kayak....Wonderful stay!

Can't beat waking up to that view

House and property were beautiful but nothing surpassed the view of the lake and mountains. Only wish there was a high top table and chairs on the deck so we could just soak in the view while having cocktails. Roads are twisty so just be warned you can't over indulge and drive home. We would definitely consider returning again, possibly with fall colors.

Perfect get away

We throughly enjoyed the Black Bear Den. Beautiful scenery, well maintained property and the owner, Jill, couldn’t have been more helpful. Short distance to both Highlands and Cashiers. We have already recommended this property to one of our friends.

Luxury Fall Foliage

Three couples met up for a Fall relaxation. We like to cook together and sit into the night with a fire in the fireplace solving the world’s problems. This is the perfect place. Convenient to Cashiers, Highlands and lots of great waterfall hikes.

Great Views

The cabin was comfortable, clean, and exactly as advertised. The view was phenomenal and the deck and covered fireplace were beautiful. There was a strong mothball smell, assuming they were in the crawlspace and understand the purpose of having them, so it was fine.

Beautiful

Top notch property. Views of lake and surrounding area are amazing. Home is beautiful inside and out, and the owners are very responsive. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the outside fireplace and sitting area. The home had everything we needed. You can't go wrong with this one!

Beautiful cabin with beautiful view

The cabin and view were just as described - gorgeous cabin and beautiful views! Having 3 king bedrooms each with their own bathroom was great - everyone had their own space but could also come together in the living and dining rooms. We spent a lot of time at the large table playing cards and enjoying the view. Laurie was extremely responsive on any questions we had.

Wonderful Home with Exceptional View

We were delighted with Black Bear Den. We are frequent visitors to the Cashiers area and felt this home was one of the best experiences . The home is well provisioned, clean, within a beautiful neighborhood and offers amazing mountain & lake views. The owners were extremely helpful. The outdoor fireplace and deck offers an amazing relaxing space.

New Years Eve stay

Property is very, very nice and the views are wonderful. Having all bedrooms with king size beds and their own bathrooms is a definite plus for our family. The only minor improvement would be on the cleaning crew. There were no trash bags other than one in the can and there was no dishwasher soap so we bought some ourselves.

Holidays 2021

I ultimately chose this property based on the great reviews and the property was just as advertised. The house is lovely as is the neighborhood and the views overlooking Lake Glenville with the mountains in the background are exceptional. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. We definitely will be revisiting this gem in the near future.

Beautiful Leaf Weekend

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable property with excellent views of Lake Glenville. It is a little more remote but we were looking for the quiet side of things so it was perfect. Owner was very responsive. Word of advice if it is the season for a fireplace to purchase firewood at Ingles in Cashiers or the Lawn and Garden store on the way in to avoid a $150-250 fine for using any of the owners wood. Also there is a $150 fine if the stove is not perfectly clean at checkout. Lastly there is a list of checkout chores that must be done before the 10 AM checkout such as stripping the bedsheets and starting the load in the washer etc. despite a housekeeping fee. Overall a perfect retreat in the mountains in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the lake.

Amazing Log Cabin

This was a beautiful log cabin with amazing views of Lake Glenville and the mountains. I loved the privacy and peacefulness of the property. The location was also very convenient, only 15 minutes to Cashiers where we bought groceries at Ingles and 30 minutes to Main Street Highlands where we enjoyed dining and shopping . I took my children hiking at High Falls Trails, which was only 17 minutes away. When we were all warn out, we enjoyed our time back at the cabin continuously enjoying the beautiful view from the living room and deck, while grilling on the outdoor grill. This cabin had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked; there were games, warm, cozy blankets, comfortable beds, and soft bath towels. As an added bonus, the owners,Laurie and Bruce, were great. They were easy to reach, and responded to questions promptly. I would definitely recommend this property. It will not disappoint.

Fall Getaway

Property was very nice, good location, beautiful view. Would stay there again. Online information had confusion on the number of beds/bedrooms in the house. It worked out well though and we very much enjoyed the stay.
