Maison récemment rénovée, animaux acceptés, Lakeview dans Beautiful Cashiers NC

Notre Mountain Laurel Cottage est situé entre les villes de Cashiers et Glenville dans les Great Smoky Mountains de l'ouest de la Caroline du Nord. Parce que la maison est située à une altitude de 3 800 pieds, les températures printanières et estivales sont fraîches et confortables.

De plus, le feuillage luxuriant de l'automne est particulièrement spectaculaire dans cette partie des États-Unis. Cette maison charmante, confortable - et récemment mise à jour - est une escapade parfaite pour les personnes qui apprécient la sérénité de son cadre privé, mais veulent également être à proximité des épiceries, de belles cascades, des marchés de producteurs, des marinas, des terrains de golf, des sentiers de randonnée, antiquaires, et plus encore.

En fait, ce n'est qu'à cinq minutes en voiture du centre-ville de Cashiers et à seulement 20 minutes de la charmante Highlands, NC.

Nous avons récemment acheté cette maison et avons terminé les rénovations dans la cuisine, le salon et les salles de bain (pour la plupart). De plus, le plancher du rez-de-chaussée est maintenant terminé. Nous travaillons toujours sur la salle de jeux, la buanderie, la terrasse extérieure et le patio. et doivent encore ajouter quelques "finitions" (par exemple moulage).

Donc, pour la plupart, la maison est prête à partir. C'est propre, confortable et nous pensons que c'est charmant. (Ce sera encore plus beau quand tout sera fini.)

We spent an incredible 4th of July weekend celebrating our country’s 250th anniversary. The property is in excellent condition and outfitted with everything you need. We had such a wonderful stay at David and Mary’s adorable cabin with views of Lake Glenville and a quick drive to Cashiers. The mountain views were absolutely beautiful, and the cabin was comfortable, cozy, and inviting. We especially loved the outdoor spaces—the landscaping is gorgeous, and the fire pit and outdoor fireplace made the evenings so relaxing and special. One of our favorite little touches was the beautiful koi pond and getting to feed the fish, which made the property feel even more peaceful and charming. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to return! Thank you, David & Mary We loved your home!

The home was spotless and very well equipped throughout. Our host left detailed easy to follow instructions on things in the house. The views were awesome and I loved that there were many choices for seating and enjoying a fire and a scenic view outside. Beds were very comfortable as was the seating in the living room and dining area. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway in the mountains. When in town Happs Place is a great place for dinner and music. The area is beautiful and we hope to return soon!

We feel fortunate to have lived in many wonderful places throughout our individual and collectives lives - Michigan, Connecticut, DC, Maryland, South Carolina, Arizona, Germany, England and more.

And while we enjoyed them all, we fell in love with this area, and after spending summers here in NC and winters in AZ, we decided to pull up stakes in AZ and make this area our permanent home.

We purchased this beauty home in 2019 and are currently working hard to complete our renovations on this gem. We've accomplished a great deal already, but still have some cosmetic touches and to finish.

We are independent business & marketing consultants - as well as writers/authors with three published books - and as long as we have computers and an Internet connection, we’re in business! So, we get to sit on our porch, listen to music and laughter from folks enjoying their time on Lake Glenville, breathe in the cool mountain air, watch critters, and view the lush foliage that comes with our deciduous rain forests area. We are fortunate people!
