When availability permits, guests may request early check-in, late checkout, stay extensions, or transfers within our portfolio.
📋 Booking Requirements
To provide a safe, verified, and low-friction booking experience, the following requirements apply:
• 30-Night Minimum: This residence is reserved for extended stays of 30 nights or longer.
• Reservation Review: Every reservation includes a brief operational review to help ensure the home is a good fit for your stay.
• Payment: Payment is required before Secure Onboarding begins and before reservation confirmation.
• Traveler's Insurance: Travel Interruption/Cancellation Protection covering the full reservation period is required.
• Security Hold: A temporary electronic incidental authorization hold is processed at payment ($500 standard / $750 with approved pets). This is a temporary authorization—not an upfront cash deposit. American Express (AMEX) is not accepted.
• Secure Onboarding: All adult occupants must provide government-issued photo IDs, requested emergency contacts, and sign the Residency Agreement within 24 hours of booking.
• Pet-Friendly Suites: Up to two pre-approved dogs or cats are welcome under a signed pet agreement.
• Booking Integrity: Reservations must be completed through Kenyan Furnished Rentals or another approved booking channel. We are not affiliated with Houzlet or other unauthorized listing services.
COMMUNITY STANDARDS + POLICIES
Housing Model
Kenyan Furnished Rentals provides fully furnished private residences designed for independent extended stays of 30 nights or longer. We do not provide hotel services, transportation, supervision, caregiving, nursing care, or other personal support services. Guests remain responsible for their own transportation, personal needs, and day-to-day living arrangements throughout their stay.
Property & Placement Considerations
• Garden-Level Residence: Suite 17B is a private garden-level apartment within an owner-occupied home featuring its own private entrance, attached garage, and separate living space.
• Garage: The attached garage provides convenient storage for vehicles, tools, bicycles, luggage, and personal equipment. The overhead garage door is manually operated.
• Layout Considerations: This residence features a traditional tub/shower combination. Mattresses may be positioned higher than standard residential bed heights. Please review all listing photos and layouts before booking.
• Cooling: Summer cooling is provided by three Whynter ARC-14S dual-hose portable air-conditioning units—one in each bedroom and one in the living room. Bedrooms also include ceiling fans.
• Pre-Booking Responsibility: Guests are expected to review all listing photos, house rules, and property details before confirming a reservation. We are always happy to answer operational questions before booking.
• Visitor Supervision: Children and visitors must remain under close adult supervision and respect neighboring patios, garages, and designated parking areas.
Community Rules & Security
• Residential Community: Suite 17B operates as a quiet residential community intended for extended stays. Loud gatherings, parties, graduation celebrations, disruptive occupancy, and unauthorized work gatherings are not permitted.
• Property Boundaries: Shared backyard areas are available for resident enjoyment; however, individual patios, garages, and assigned parking areas remain private.
• Outdoor Smoking: Smoking, vaping, and marijuana use are prohibited inside the residence. Guests who choose to smoke may do so outdoors within the driveway, parking, and designated yard areas while using the provided outdoor receptacles and disposing of cigarette waste responsibly.
• Property Oversight: Exterior security devices monitor common outdoor areas, parking, and entrances only with audio and video recording. No devices monitor interior living spaces.
• Overnight Guests: Unverified overnight guests are not permitted.
