This is the best property that i have stayed. Great house for family get togethers in Provincetown. Couldn't ask for better Owners and their response was excellent. Would stay here again and again.
My family and I had a great stay at Davidâs house. The location is a great â across from a nice, quiet beach! The walk into town is beautiful and the home itself is very well taken care of. David and James are responsive and great hosts!
Overall, this property is wonderful and a good location. It is being sold so I am unsure anything I say will be the same next season if the new owners rent it out. The house has great living room/dining room space. A good kitchen with convenient washer/dryer. One bathroom/shower is very small and one only has a bath (no way to wash standing up). Itâs quiet and has beach access, BUT NOT DURING HIGH TIDE. What was not in the listing is that the stairs in the house are very narrow and steep- not great for older individuals or younger children. Also, there is a garden house (I think they call it a cottage) that shares the back yard so sometime the owners or other people would walk through the property to get in there to stay or do yardwork. That being said- this is a great rental for about 5 people even though it could technically sleep 7. And the current owners are absolutely delightful. I just think listings often only highlight positive things (like beach access, or a backyard) without telling the full picture and these were a couple things we would have liked to know.
I hosted friends and family for a whole month at this beautifully decorated historic home. Thank you, David and James, for being warm and generous hosts!
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful with quintessential Provincetown charm. Keep in mind, however, that the house is 200 years old, so spaces are cozy rather than sprawling. Beds are full-sized which means sleeping arrangements for a full house of seven are snug.
Overall, everyone loved the house and would book again.
The owner/property manager easy to contact and was very accommodating.
We have rented in Provincetown for many years but have never stayed in as special or as nice a home as this one. It does not feel like a rental. It is a beautiful home with wonderful hugh end furnishings. It is quirky which we think adds to its charm. David was extremely responsive and has thought of our every need from beach chairs to beach towels. The kitchen was really well appointed and the living room luxurious. We will be back.
We stayed at Davidâs home for three weeks and it was perfect! Beautifully appointed with Mackenzie Childâs and beautiful antiques, (in your rental?! What is in your primary?!) this home is spacious and so comfortable. My husband and I traveled with my mother, our nearly two year old son and my in-laws and with that crew you need plenty of space and we had it. The house is much larger than it looks in the pictures. Beds are super plush and cozy. David is a great host, very responsive. I almost hate to write this review because I want to be sure we can rent it next year! :) Nice walk to town and perfect beach access across the street, this house is perfect for a quiet refresh, and letâs face it, who doesnât need that in 2021?
Davidâs home is a beautiful, charming residence from another era. The common spaces are large, kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms have air-conditioners, the 3 baths sufficient for the seven of us. It is situated in the historic East End with lovely gardens and perfect patio for a morning or anytime meal. Thank you, David
The house is a quiet retreat in the East End. An easy stroll to the town center to take in all the Provincetown has to offer. But, far enough away to offer a peaceful oasis.
