New construction used as guest house for larger adjacent home. Use of 40' of private beach front with a seasonal floating dock. M/H 50 amp connection with brown water connection. Beautifully furnished throughout. Great lake view from the 12' x 15' lake side balcony. The living quarters are above a two car garage. Central a/c and heat, picnic table, Weber charcoal grille, and a gas grille. Bathrooms have step in showers, no tubs. State boat launch is approximately 2 miles east. The seasonal floating dock can accomodate 21 foot +/- watercraft. Limit of one powerboat on the dock. The camp is approximately 30 mins to Lake George Village, 30 mins to Gore Mt. SKi Resort, and approximatley 45 minutes to Lake Placid.

Beautiful View

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The home is absolutely gorgeous and the view of the lake is beautiful. It was very clean and had all the conveniences that you could want. Easy access to the lake for kayaking and swimming. We definitely will make plans to return in the warmer weather to enjoy the lake. The owners are very accommodating!😊

Wonderful relaxing stay

The property was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The house was very cozy and so very clean. We had so much fun with the kayaks and enjoyed a lot of swim time. The hill was a doozy at times but we all needed a little exercise. It was a blast!!!!

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and our 2 kids stayed at the cottage at the end of August. The place was clean, well equipped and big enough for a family of four. We had fun swimming, boating, hiking (nearby) and camp fires. The hill walking to and from the beach was not a problem for us. Schroon Lake was super close to eat meals, get ice cream, and find souvenirs. The house is located near a semi busy road and you can hear trucks/cars go by, so bring a sound machine for night if you are light sleeper. It really wasn’t a big deal for us but thought it would be worth mentioning. Overall, had a lovely time and would go back!

Nice Place!

Our family of 4 stayed for a week and had a great time. Unit is clean, modern and has all the in-door creature comforts you need - all the natural beauty of the Adirondacks are right out side your door. We enjoyed having a private dock and used our boat daily for fishing, tubing & just enjoying the beauty of Paradox Lake. Had some wonderful campfires at the fire pit. Steve & Liz were great hosts - friendly & helpful (even left s’mores stuff for our kids). Yes, the hill is steep, but if you can handle climbing 3 or 4 flights of stairs you should be capable of walking up the hill. Would love to go again!

Lovely Place with Water Views

The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished but we had no idea that the walk to the water was so steep, that both bathrooms were on the main floor (no bathroom in upstairs bedroom) and that the hot water had to run in the bathroom in order to get hot water to flow from the kitchen. The owners were very responsive to the water issue. We are seniors so while the description of the cottage was accurate, these were important omissions to older renters. We were gratefully informed before arrival that the dock was under water. There also was no beach because of the water level. This would be a great place for younger people in good physical shape. The owners were very communicative and pleasant in every way while we were there and the cottage is very lovely and conveniently located.

Paradox Lake vacation

The property was charming and clean and well equipped. The property and lake views were beautiful. The walk to the lake was a bit long and difficult for senior citizens (2 of 4). Because of high lake water the dock could not be used which was a little disappointing. Nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves and relaxed and went on multiple nearby excursions. Our dog / poodle enjoyed himself as well. It was a worthwhile vacation.

Cabin in Severance, NY

The cabin still smells like it was built yesterday; it's beautifully built and decorated. The grounds are immaculate and there's a great view of Paradox Lake. The cabin had everything we needed, and we loved using the kayaks and paddle board. We're so impressed with the hosts, as they go above and beyond to help in anyway they can. A wonderful experience all around!

Paradox Lake paradise

The cabin is well situated, close to town and several beautiful lakes. We enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding on Paradox, Schroon and Eagle lakes. The owners were great & easy to communicate with. The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated and just the right size for two adults and one teenager. The only minor drawback was the pathway to the lake - it was a bit steeper than we'd anticipated which made carrying the boards down to the water and back more challenging - still doable though.

New, Clean, and Exquisitely Furnished

New, Very Clean, and Exquisitely Furnished with Adirondack style furniture ... Beds were very comfortable too. Hardwood floors throughout. There is a view of Paradox Lake from the outside deck. You do need to be in reasonable shape as it's a bit of a hill to get to the water. Hosts were easily reachable by phone and helpful. Overall, I would stay there again.

Amazing scenery!

Our stay at Paradox Lake was great. The view from the balcony of the lake was awesome along with the beach access. Quiet but close to town and a short drive from Lake Placid and other attractions. Everything was clean and well appointed.

Paradox Lake Guesthouse

This is an excellent property, perfect for 2-4 people. It’s in a great location overlooking the lake, was spotless and well equipped. The owners were wonderful and very attentive to whatever we needed. We highly recommend this property and look forward to renting it again.

Absolutely a beautiful property! Impeccably furnished. Has everything you need.

We enjoyed our stay and plan to return soon. Wished there was a closet or clothing rack to hang your clothes up, no hangers anywhere . Hot water system needs to be serviced or upgraded not enough hot water for 4 adults. Everything else was top notch !

Beautiful Property!!!

We had a wonderful time at Steven’s place. The property was beautiful and had a great view of the lake. The cabin was very clean and spacious for our family. Everything we needed was provided. My two toddlers loved to play at the sandy beach. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property. We would love to stay here again!

Cozy Winter Retreat

The cabin was so quaint and very clean. Every essential was available to us ! Very pleased!! I especially loved the cardinal in the cage. Cardinals are my favorite bird!

Lake Cottage

This is a brand new property and we appreciated a lot of works and efforts the host Steve has put in to make this cottage so lovely. Communication with Stave was also smooth; check in was very easy and Steve went an extra mile to let us get in the cottage safely through the garage due to the snow. The place was exactly as pictured, and was large enough for our family of three to spread out when everyone needed a quiet time (with well working wifi). The loft and the guest bathroom were perfect for our teenage daughter to keep her privacy. The Kitchen was a bit small but well equipped and stocked with basic necessities. Steve left plenty of bottles of water on the counter and in the fridge for us, so we could keep hydrated. Bathrooms were nice and clean, soaps and shampoos/conditioners were provided. The bed was very comfortable and gets very toasty with that super plushy blankets (us ladies loved it)! Also the cottage was located near everything; Gas station, restaurants and stores were all within 5-10 minutes driving distance from the cottage, and Gore Mountain was 25 minutes away. The lake and mountain view from the balcony was gorgeous. We took a stroll down to the lake too. Would love to come back in summer to enjoy the water.

A bit of Paradise

We were honored to be the first guest in this well appointed, gorgeous apartment overlooking Lake Paradox! This brand new offering was a great find, with high end finishes and all the creature comforts one would want from home. It is well located to prowl around many of the nearby Adirondack towns and Lake Placid is just a short drive away as well. We definitely would choose this lively rental again!
