Belle maison du lac

C'est une maison de 4 chambres située juste en face du lac Schroon. À distance de marche de la ville et de la plage. La rampe de mise à l'eau est à seulement 3 minutes. Seulement 1/2 heure de Gore Mountain et 45 minutes de Lake Placid. Super endroit pour les motoneiges. Les sentiers publics sont juste derrière la maison. Idéal pour la pêche ou tout simplement accrocher à la plage. Beaucoup d'endroits où aller pour des excursions. Foyer dans la cour pour les rassemblements nocturnes et grand porche pour se détendre et lire un bon livre.

We’re at a group of seven motorcycle riders. It was a perfect place for us to stay. Plenty of room in the driveway to turn the bikes around and the lot was flat in level. Would definitely return again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The check-in process was seamless, which made settling in stress-free from the start. Clean, Comfortable, but Needs Some Updates

We had a pleasant stay at this vacation home. It was clean and the host was very communicative and responsive to our questions. That said, the house itself is dated and could use some basic maintenance. A few minor things could be addressed, like some aging furniture and addressing minor wear and tear, but didn’t significantly impact our stay. One suggestion for improvement would be updating the TV monitor, as the current one is quite small for the size of the living room. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for a clean, affordable place. With some attention to these updates, it could easily offer an even better experience. FYI, the vacation home is booked as a “Lake House,” but it is not on the lake.

Loved this house!

My brothers vacation home in Paradox was the location of his daughters wedding. So I had to find another place to stay. This house is perfect! The pictures don’t do it justice. We had 5 adults and we weren’t bumping into each other. The front porch was great for my morning tea and night time relaxing. It has everything you need. Close to everything. Thank you! It was a perfect weekend!

Great Location and Coziness in Schroon Lake

Arrived to a very clean and darling cottage only minutes from Schroon Lake and the water. Judy, the owner, was quick with communication we would happily stay there again and are very grateful for this experience! nearwas great with communication

Perfect house for lake days

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. I love the “older” feel of this home. It is less than 5 mins to the public beach. Everything seem to work great and the fire pit is a super cute feature. The listing does state paper products (toilet paper/ paper towels) are included with the stay but unfortunately we didn’t seem to have any paper towels or enough toilet paper so I would just plan on bringing a few rolls of your our. We all had our own space and it was big enough for everyone to enjoy. I definitely would stay again.

Very clean and well kept

We use the house to stay for a weeklong fishing trips. It’s very convenient and it’s location to get the several of our favorite spots. We will be back next year.

Schoon Lake house

this was a comfortable home-perfect for a large family and friend gathering with large cozy couches, porch swing and a large dining room table. It was clean! My only complaint was that there was just barely enough toilet paper

Great space

Overall had a great stay! My husband and I visited with my parents and we have more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed for preparing meals. The location was very walkable to town and convenient to everywhere we wanted to be. Pictures acfuratwly represent the property. The porch and yard were a nice perk! One comment for anyone who might be wlderly or disabled-- the shower/tub is on the narrow/small side. It was fine for us, but my dad is have a somewhat difficult time with that aspect. Not really a negative, but might be important to be aware of for accessibility purposes. Happy with our stay and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Cozy and welcoming home

Great location, very clean, had absolutely everything we needed available. Plenty of room for 3 couples we vacationed with and would be great for a family with 4 bed rooms. We had coffee on the beautiful spacious front porch, meals and board games at dinning room table, camp fires and lawn games walking distance to town and beach. Overall loved it and hope to come back ☺️

Well worth it!

We brought our senior parents to stay and we all loved the property and the location. Every detail they could need was available in the house. They enjoyed the spacious porch to sit and enjoy even on rainy days and the huge dining room table to play cards all night. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place and all the comforts of home. Thank you!

Older property in great location across from Schroon Lake

This 4 bedroom older cottage was as advertised but needs some TLC. Would be great for two families to share-affordable. Walk into town where there were three or four restaurants. We were three senior adults and each had our own bedroom. Lacking was a hair dryer and hand and bath soap. All other VRBOs I have stayed at had soap. The mosquitoes were fierce but it had rained a lot that week. Loved the owners personal touches and the piano was a plus.
