Cette maison en rondins sur une colline offre une vue imprenable sur le lac Schroon et une vue panoramique sur la montagne Pharaoh. Elle offre également un accès à la plage et au quai partagés! Trois niveaux d'espace de vie ouvert pourront accueillir toute la famille. À l'extérieur, vous disposerez d'un feu de camp et d'un espace pour garer six voitures. Great place for relaxing at the lake. Plenty of room with a nice gas fireplace and outdoor fire pit. We moored our 19’ open bow boat at the dock and that worked great. Since it was September we didn't go in the lake, but I’d ask about beach usage before renting. Walkable to a couple restaurants.

Beautiful log cabin

The house was great and the location is very convenient to town and very close to the water. The house is not on the water, but a stone's throw away with nice views.

Fun time at SCHROON Lake

We stayed here with a group of friends and it was nice to have so many bedrooms were we could each have alone time if needed. The fire ring was great and we had everything we needed. It was also very clean.

The house at Schroon Lake was beautiful. It was everything that we wanted and more. It had all of the amenities that we needed including pots and pans for cooking and WiFi and streaming apps to enjoy. It was quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Check in and check out was very smooth. Loved the house . So cozy and beautifully decorated . The power to dishwasher would not come on and we contacted the management to help us resolve the issue .

Property was in good condition and very clean. Plenty of regular towels and beach towels. AC worked great. The front deck and fire pit were very nice as well. We utilized both extensively. It was very nice to have a Blackstone and regular gas grill.The pathway to the dock was uneven, lined with tree roots and the hand rails were wobbly. Caution should be exercised. We would suggest adding dimming lights in the living room or possible some floor lamps for night time reading. We would also suggest different dining room seating or adding some padding to the seats - terribly hard if sitting there for any length of time. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and restful stay at this house and would consider stay again.

Overall thebhouse was fine, but I would not qualify this house as lake front. While you have slightly obstructed views of the lake the "d9ck and beach" are not easibly accesible in any capacity. The pathway to the dock is about 300ft from the propert sitself and is nothing short of a dirt slide down to the dock, and it is without question way to steep and unruly for anyone with questionable mobility to navigate. Additionally, having to download, and register for a third party application for the property is a huge negative in my opinion. The house is dated, with old appliances, bare minimum kitchen essentials, bare minimum provided toiletries, etc. We noticed on several occasions odd vehicle's 'policing' the cars parked at the property, typically after dark which we found odd. The railing on the balcony is not securly fixed, nor is the railing going up the stairs to the primary entrance. With numerous improvements and more listing clarity the property would be finez but as is, its underwhelming and borderline misleading for sure.

Location is near the water and near town. This is not a lake front property though. Houses are in the way and the dock is across the street and a very short walk. The views are still amazing despite being partially obstructed. Plenty of beds for 10 people but no single place for 10 people to eat. This feels like a house for 8 maximum. Master queen is old and should be replaced. The house was missing screens on a few windows and on the main deck door preventing the air in. Cleanliness was a 3/5. The deck was not swept before we arrived, the laundry smelled moldy, dust and hair were under the couches and in the bathroom drawers. A prior guest underwear was in the master bedroom (we didn’t notice until we did a once over right before checking out). Garbage service is not provided so you have to take your own garbage to the dump. It’s a 3 mile drive and is cash only (would have been helpful in the house instructions).The kitchen is bare. There are no spices, coffee filters (you’ll need the basic basket ones), cooking oils. There are also only two wine glasses and not many other cups. There are not enough plates or bowls for 10 people. The knives are in good shape and the griddle on the deck is amazing. Basics are there to start (a few garbage bags, small amount of dish soap, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner). This is a Vacasa house so expect it to feel impersonal and more like an extended stay hotel than a home. they are quick to respond to inquires

Incredibly property with a few small hiccups

This property was incredible and was way more beautiful than the photos, and a lot bigger than the photos let on. There were three floors to this home. The basement level had a direct walk out to the driveway, and included two bedrooms, a bath, and a family room. The main floor included two bedrooms, a bath, a living room, kitchen, dining room, and walk out to this incredible balcony porch overlooking Schroon lake. The upstairs floor had a master bath and bedroom, along with a loft space that had a futon. The loft of the master suite had an incredible view of the lake! We stayed with two babies under two, and felt that the home was baby friendly. The main floor porch had an outdoor eating table, a grill, and a blackstone which we were so excited about! Outside there was also a fire pit ring with several Adirondack chairs surrounding it. The only issues we had were that the oven did not work, and that the shared dock did not have space for our boat. If you plan on using the oven during your stay, I would double check with the host that it is in working condition. The stove worked just fine, but unfortunately the oven did not allow us to make the several meals that we had already planned for its use. The dock appeared to be first come first serve, so keep that in mind if you plan on bringing a boat. You may have to rent a dock at the marina like we did. Aside from those hiccups, this home, and the property, was absolutely incredible. We plan on coming back.

Beautiful house but…

The house was beautiful. Worked well for our two families. The downsides were no dock or water access from the house, the hot water situation was a nightmare, and you have to drive out your own garbage. We loved the house initially and were thinking about making it our go to house every year. Then we realized there is no water access, that was a bummer, but we could deal. The hot water was a nightmare. Myself and my two kids took a combined total of 12 mins for all three of us to shower and there was no hot water left for the others. We tried shutting everything off showering quicker but nothing left enough hot water for everyone to shower. This would not be a big deal if we weren’t all needing to shower at the same time but when we would spend the day on the lake and get back to the house everyone would want a shower. This would be a nightmare if you had a bigger group. The fact you have to carry out your garbage was the deal breaker for our families. There is garbage service in the area, the neighbors had it out to be picked up. So I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just include that in the price for this house. It was a little rough being on vacation and having to worry about trash. Otherwise the house was beautiful, clean, and well set up!

Had a good time. Clean house, plenty of water toys available. What you are not told in the listing: the beach has about 7ft of clear area to sit. The rest is covered by rocks and seaweed. It is shared between 4 houses, and enough room for a chair or two. We were told we would have two dock spaces available. The owner had a jetski left in the water taking up one of those spots, so only 1 available to us. That was a problem, after all I booked this house PRIMARILY based on beach and dock access. We ended up unable to use the beach, Too small to accommodate even a few of the people in our party, and had to drive to public beach. Also, neighbors to the south were very nosey. Seemed very interested in our bussiness, liked to watch us from the distance like a parent. Would not recommend this property because of these reasons.

Perfect Adirondack Spot

My family and I spent a week here and had a wonderful time! The house is not far from some high peaks and other great trails. We rented a boat and spent the day on the lake. The fire pit is very enjoyable to end a relaxing day. This house has plenty of room for a large group. While it is not located directly on the water, you do have access to a dock across the street for great swimming. The view of the lake from the deck is wonderful!

Unfriendly neighbors(at first) at shared beach/ bedding in laundry

Upon arrival, bedding sheets and pillow cases were in washer and dryer (both wet). Do laundry and make beds on arrival? Not again. Shared beach is deeded access, across the street, which neighbors represent as theirs. Owner previously had both properties.

Good house

Good house for a group of 10. Great location and views. Only drawbacks were the fire pit (area needed to be cleared and walkway fixed) and the cleanliness of the house. Floors were dirty and the dishes didn’t look clean.
