The Space: With 2bd/2.5ba, “The Fox Pond” would be perfect for groups of up to 4 people. This home is located in the Old Village area of Mount Pleasant with its own private drive, so parking and proximity will not be an issue! As soon as you pull into this charming single-story cottage, you will notice the inviting atmosphere of “The Fox Pond”. While the adorable blue exterior welcomes you to the coastal life, the interior keeps it classic with a mix of modern and vintage furnishings. Step inside to find a combined living/dining space- the perfect place to share a meal or spend a night in watching movies. Off of the common area, there is a wonderful sunroom - we definitely recommend drinking your morning coffee here and watching the sunrise.

For another cool experience, check out the fire pit area in the backyards. This is the perfect place to relax after a long day at the beach and enjoy some stargazing. The backyard also features a privacy fence, so you will have your own little oasis back there. Back inside of the house, you will find the kitchen - located right off of the living/dining area. For your convenience, the kitchen has been equipped with all of the basic cooking/kitchenware necessities in case you feel like cooking out at home during your stay. Going back to the front hallway, you have the half-bath - perfect for when everyone is hanging out in the common area or for guests on the pull out sofa (inquire with us for additional sheets for this). If you continue down this hallway, you will also find both bedrooms - both of these rooms are quite spacious and come with either a king or queen-sized bed and their own private full bathroom. It’s only the best for our guests here at “The Fox Pond” - where our home is your home.

the Wonderer directly. If using the Pool area, it is required that parties of 8+ rent a Cabana.

We have stayed in several properties over the past several years. The layout, decor, sunroom, yard and overall cleanliness was perfect. The area was just a few blocks from our son’s home.Our son and wife from Las Vegas joined us for 4 days. Loved our daily walks at Shem Creek!

The house was very clean and all the amenities listed were there. The beds were very comfortable. The house is very spacious. It is a quiet neighborhood and close to all of Charleston’s fun things to do. I definitely would recommend staying here.

We could call it home

The duplex was one of the nicest properties we have stayed in with VRBO. The location, in a lovely neighborhood, was perfect for visits to Mt. Pleasant sites such as the Old Village and Fort Moultrie and was just a short drive into Charleston. The bedrooms with attached bathrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to prepare some in-house meals. The private back yard was a bonus. Communication with the Stay Duvet group was excellent. Just a very good place to call home for a few days.

House was spotless and looks exactly like it does in the pictures. We didn’t do much cooking but it seemed well stocked. The gas grill is a great addition and we used it one night. The location is amazing and the neighborhood is very quiet. We highly recommend the Fox Pond!

Very nice location with quick access to beaches and to Charleston! House was very comfortable, well stocked with utensils and seasonings for cooking, with towels, chairs and other beach items. Comfortable sleeping, quiet neighborhood very relaxing place to stay. We WILL be back again in the future trips to the area!

2025 Bridge Run Stay

Overall, this home was everything it advertised which was refreshing. The difference between this home being great vs exceptional is based on the following comments which I hope are taken as intended:1. When using the toaster and microwave at the same time, the breaker pops so a small sign should suggest not to run both at the same time.2. All the closet doors are either off the tracks, broken or just a real challenge to open and close.3. My husband went around the house and basically had to tighten the majority of the cabinet knobs. There are missing knobs as well.4. As a guest, I always find it unfortunate that there isn't a single box of Kleenex in the house especially in a city that covers you in pollen constantly. COSTCO would be out of business if it wasn't for my families Kleenex addiction!5. The black towels for make-up use were top shelf but a bit too small to be effective.6. The king bedroom bathroom sink needs to be snaked. Again, my husband used Draino twice to no avail, as well as, the 2nd bedroom sink.7. Although we tried to follow the TV instructions, we were only able to watch Netflix.8. The fake plants are extremely dirty and are in areas where the dirt is a concern such as the MBR dresser and floor near the bed. The bathroom rugs also need to be washed.9. We respected the request to not park a car on the street but a large truck parked in front of the house and did a real lawn job.I look forward to renting this property again.

We checked out the next morning and reported all our concerns to the property manager and to Vrbo. Vrbo never replied to us after asking for and receiving photos. Filth, mold, cockroaches alive, dead and flying around. Disgusting and shameful.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to
visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on
availability and may come at an additional cost.
Day Passes are available at the following rates (pre-purchase only):
- Complimentary: Oct 15th - Apr 14th
- Additional Cost: Apr 15th - Oct 14th
- $15 per person: Sunday through Friday
- $30 per person: Saturdays
*No Rolling or Duffel side luggage allowed on site, Please pre-register with Bag Valet for pickup at CHS International Airport or you will be able to check your luggage with Bag Valet onsite at The Wonderer and it will be delivered to your local destination. Fees apply*

Please note: availability is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access. Prices are subject to change.

Any group exceeding 8 or more guests must be approved separately by contacting
the Wonderer directly. If using the Pool area, it is required that parties of 8+ rent a Cabana.

The Club has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management). Some special events may have varying age restrictions.

*Please also note that StayDuvet is not the same company as The Wonderer and offers
this as an added perk. If access is not granted to the Wonderer during your stay due to
availability, no inconvenience credits will be awarded, and any issues related to your visit
at The Wonderer must be directed exclusively to The Wonderer staff.*

Guests will have full access to their rental along with all the appliances and amenities included with your stay.

If your unit has parking, Parking Instructions will be given to you 3 days prior to the check-in date. To see if your unit does have parking, please check THE SPACE and AMENITIES section of the listing.
