This is a private suite of two rooms and a private bath and additional room with twin beds which share the bath. As you can see in the photos , itâs on the second floor so itâs not for those with mobility concerns. Also thereâs a claw foot tub thatâs requires some agility getting into and there is a grab bar to assist. Iââm located 2 blocks from the County Courthouse and historic town of Mercer and close to hiking/ biking trails and great fishing areas. Iâm at 317 North Pitt Street. The house was built circa 1840 in the Greek Revival style. There are trees all around adding to your privacy and we are a within walking distance to town. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with high ceilings and many windows to allows the views of the gardens. The sleeper sofa in the living room sleeps one. There is an additional fee of $20.00 per night per person.
The apartment was on the third floor of a historic house. If steps are no problem then this place has everything you need! Very clean, comfortable and owner very friendly!
Historic home and neighborhood... the Owner was extremely helpful and accessible. Short drive to Grove City College - looking forward to our next stay!
Place was beautiful! The online pictures donât do it justice in my mind. Never met Nancy but she was very responsive to the app if you had any questions. All around great stay! Would do again.
Pulling up to this beautiful property was breath taking. From the large yard to a small deck to enjoy the view. This place was great for a short relaxing getaway. This rental space was clean with touches of love and care around every corner. Our host Nancy felt more like family. Her kindness and love for her property shined through. I can not wait to go back next year!
This home is reminiscent of lake properties I have visited. It is a grand old home. Although I did not have time to enjoy it, the grounds are beautiful with many lovely flowers. In the morning the birds are singing. It is quiet with the windows closed, there is a of great deal of traffic in the area. The owner is very honest about the amenities when you book.
If you were looking for a truly relaxing getaway in a classic house this is it. No distractions just a wonderfully clean and peaceful upper floor of a home. Absolutely loved the clawfoot bathtub and the water in the fridge was a very nice treat as well. As someone who travels twice a week and stays in two hotels per week this is a great change of pace. Thank you
A Lovely historic home in a quiet neighborhood.
The rooms are simple, nicely decorated & very clean. All the amenities are as listed and more. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has ann updated sink & toilet. The claw foot tub with shower is a great feature. Nancy, the owner is very responsive & flexible.
The garden & house are beautiful. We would love to stay here again if we come back to the area!
The space was very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the towels were fluffy. Nancy was a wonderful host. She was friendly, informative, but not intrusive. There was more space than the photos portray. We would love to stay there again if the opportunity arises.
very nice place. could hear the chimes from the church and the court house. very clean. up stairs though. my husband had hard time getting up steps. wish we could have stayed longer but couldn't because of my husband s knees.
The Whistler house was easy to find, the area does have a small town feel.
Easy to find restaurants, gas stations ext. The rental was enough to suit the purpose but was quiet and relaxing. Nancy was very accommodating, fresh towels, soaps and shampoos; even water in the refrigerator. Definitely would stay there again.
The whole stay, from beginning to end, was great. The property was exactly as described. I was impressed with how clean and well-cared for it was. The host was available if I had questions but never bothered me.
We had a nice stay here. The place was clean and easy to access with nearly all amenities. Check out nearby Volant for some shopping. I'd definitely recommend!
Lovely historic property. Private Space on 2nd floor of the back of the home. Nancy provided many kind touches which made our stay comfortable . . . loved those cold water bottles in the refrigerator! Birds and flowers abound in the lovely yard. 15 minutes from Grove City College, where we were visiting our sons. Very comfortable bed. We would stay again. We had absolutely everything we needed, but would love to have had a simple, full-length mirror in the bedroom. Thank you, Nancy.
My family and I bought this house when it was in disrepair long before the many home fix it up tv shows were so prevalent. We did most of the renovations including removing wallpaper everywhere, replastering, sanding or replacing floors, upgrading the bathrooms. Weâve also hand scraped the brick which had decades of peeling paint. We also scraped and repainted the pillars two of which are original. It has been a labor and not always of love but it is lovely to live here and appreciate the craftsmanship that allows it to remain.
