Perfectly located a short stroll to downtown Westfield Indiana, this 3 bedroom 2 full bath cute turn of the century farmhouse is totally renovated, and ready for a comfortable stay. Enjoy plenty of sitting space, dual living rooms and an additional "Game/dining" room complete with over 20 different games to play or bring a puzzle for your stay. This property has a very cute outdoor hangout space, and fire pit to make some memories and roast S'mores. This home has tons of parking, enough for 6 cars.
Charming older home, perfect for the size of the family we had (five), but could easily accommodate a couple more. The refrigerator is in the mudroom and you canât fit the ladder on the bunkbeds because there isnât enough floor space, but those are the only issues we had and they were easily worked around. Enjoyed our stay very much.
We stayed here for a full week. The house was about 8 minutes from the field for the tournament, which worked out great. The price was nice for the house. Yes the house is older but it has been updated. Home was clean, ac worked great, plenty of beds if you have extra kids or team members, very nice neighborhood, within 5 minutes to stores and food. The owner was very helpful. We had a minor issue, I called him and it was fixed in 30 minutes.
If youâre from out of state, a little advice. When you see a driving speed sign for 20. They mean 20.
Neat house, pretty well updated, but has a few idiosyncrasies that could be improved. There is no light switch inside the front door and no lights on inside when we arrived. The downstairs tub has no way to trigger the shower and no stopper so unusable as a tub or shower. The upstairs shower has no soap caddy inside the shower, making you reach outside each time you need soap or hair products. Extra blankets and extra pillows would be appreciated.
Everything was perfect! The house was beautiful. The backyard was beautiful. In the pictures it shows an open lot but there is a house right next door. We had a family gathering/wedding and we talked to the neighbor about what we going to do and they were very nice.
The owner said the last renter had been there for 9 months and the place was deep cleaned, but the smell of dog and pet dander greet you at the door. My son had to stay with family and not in the rental because every room the smell was overwhelming. I asked the owner when we spoke about pet odor and he assured me the house smelled fine. I am not usually a complainer but the house really is not VRBO quality.
The house was well decorated inside, and was clean. The location was quite good: close enough to the main highways to be accessible, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The process of check-in and check-out was good. No issues, everything was straight forward. Only things I would have them remedy was that the outside was overgrown and wasn't as well kept as in the listing. Also, the back room had a very strong musty smell coming from the basement and it didn't smell very fresh back there. The rest of the house was okay. Overall it's a pretty cute place! The back yard with campfire pit and extra chairs was a huge bonus. The kitchen was very clean and comfortable and well done.
It could have been a quaint house but there was zero effort in house or grounds keeping. Huge weeds, lots of ants outside, inside was cute but dirty. Our feet were black! Understocked: 1 full roll and 1 half roll of toilet paper, half a roll of paper towels, no dish soap, empty air fresheners plugged in everywhere, a single trash bag. Some beds were not even made when I arrived. All that for 10 people and we were expected to clean before we left. They wanted us to do more work than them. Beds were comfy, apple TV was nice. If it was actually cared for in the way they falsely advertise it could be a 3 star location. Put in effort for your own property in the future instead of cat fishing your guests to do it.
