The house was great for our family of 8! There were plenty of beds and we enjoyed being able to spread out in the house. It was close to everything and Carolyn quickly responded to our questions. We enjoyed our stay!
This was our third stay at this property. As usual, the house was clean, welcoming, and well-stocked with towels and all the needed amenities. Lots of room to spread out and hang out. Looking forward to our next visit!
This place was wonderful for our family girl's weekend...close to the Christkindlmarkt and very clean and spacious. It was everything we needed to have a memorable girls trip.
This house was the perfect location for our galentines cousin weekend away. It is so close to everything and the house was so spacious for all 11 of us. Definitely recommend staying here!
Plenty of space and room for everyone. Great neighborhood and location. If you are planning to cook there, bring some of your own spices, cookware, baggies, foil, etc. That was a little light.
Owner was responsive, however, there were a couple of things we encountered. We were not informed of the broken washer until day of arrival. Owner did give a 50 refund but with us being here for a 5 day baseball trip that was an inconvenience. The biggest issue we had was the water that had a sulfur smell that could be smelt throughout the house and remained in your hair and skin after showering. The childrenâs bunk beds and mattresses were less than desirable. One of the upstairs bedrooms lacked a/c making it feel like an attic space.
It was a fun and unique house. Our family from MO and OH met for our brother's 60th birthday, who lives in Fischers. It was a great location. The owner was always very responsive. We would stay there again. :)
We had a group of 4 adults and 4 teenage boys. We found the place perfect. We were worried about the amount of full bathrooms However we were able to make it work!
The house was very clean. It has lots of room for family to spread out or get together. The host answered any questions immediately . It had everything we needed in the kitchen, nice towels in the bathroom . l highly recommend this house . We had a great time with family . We may stay again next year .
I was disappointed with our stay. The master bedroom is actually a room with bunks that sleep 10 and the beds are marginally comfortable. The second bathroom upstairs has a clogged sink so does not drain. The fire pit has holes and does not work- The BBQ grill only heats on one side--VERY slowly to cook. The game room really is not as advertised. The wine opener broke when used0 but that was because it was already broken and somebody wrapped it with scotch tape. The bathroom rugs are gross--need to be laundered. The basement bunks are just in an alcove of the game room- so no privacy. The location is very good- easy to find and close to a very nice walking trail. The yard is pretty. The three beds are comfortable
Carolyn was a responsive and gracious host. Beds were very comfortable. Multiple living spaces accommodated team dinner comfortably. Dining dishes more than sufficient and cooking utensils minimally basic but adequate. House is older so plumbing and electrical have their charms but enough for 6 teenage boys to quickly shower between games and dinner.
Stayed four summer nights. Lots of green, saw a variety of birds, bunnies and deer in the backyard.
Plenty of space for the eleven of us - bunk rooms were perfect for all the kids as was the gameroom downstairs.
Host was incredible at communicating, particularly when we had troubles getting the electronic lock to work on the front door.
Only concerns were that the fire pit in the backyard was littered with cigarette butts and coke cans, likely from the previous renter. The grill was also very dirty and needed to be scrubbed, but no tools to do so. Kitchen utensils were also light, so bring your own if you want to cook a lot.
Overall, we were satisfied with our stay!
Excellent place for our family to stay for a holiday weekend. Place was very spacious with plenty of amenities. Loved the location near the hiking trail. The owner was extremely responsive to all our questions prior to arrival. Highly recommend this location!
House was perfect for our group. It allowed plenty of room for my daughter's bridal party to get ready for her wedding. Beds were comfortable. The space in the house was amazing!
The property owner went above and beyond to help us with our stay! House was clean and very accommodating for our whole family (4 adult children and their families) there was room for more. Highly recommend!
We stayed here for our brother's wedding who was getting married nearby. It was grandparents, and two families with a total of 6 adults and 6 kids. It had ample space for all of us and plenty of comfortable beds. The kids loved the bunk room and that worked well for our family. The dishwasher wasn't working for our stay, but was left plasticware and cups should we not want to hand wash our dishes. It was convenient for our stay, and if we needed a group home in this area again, we would stay here again. There is a beautiful park nearby that was awesome, we wished we could have stayed longer.
Stayed here with a larger group to visit the city. Arrived to a wonderful welcome basket from the host, which we all enjoyed. Loved the basement area, perfect for a game area and hanging out. Bunks worked out for us, nothing special there, but appreciated being able to spread out through the three floors. Great experience for us!
Beautiful home with a country living feel but within minutes of Downtown Carmel, Westfield, and GrandPark. Walking distance to the Monon trail as well as less than a minute from US 31 with easy access anywhere in the Indianapolis area...you could be downtown Indy within 20 min to watch a Colts game or 5 minutes from GrandPark to watch your kids sporting activities.
