An actual 3 star property for those interested in all details
2 star for our stay and 3 overall if some items improved.
Why?
- The owner KNEW that one unit had no working heat. The furnace had been broken for 45 days. Had to call maintenance, but since VRBO, they said to call the owner.
- A space heater with no thermostat was provided = so HOT in the morning so had to shut It off at night and deal with freezing room in the morning – then repeat.
- The two units combined “sleep 12 people”. In the larger unit, there is one sleeper sofa, a crib, and then a double bed in the middle of the “living room”.
- Booked this 12 person suite for extra room. We had 7 people in total between both rooms and wanted more. You could sit on the bed of course – but awkward if you don’t really know those people.
- If we would have brought 12 people as the room is slated to sleep – we would have been miserable.
- It’s clean, but older - Basic items in kitchen. Don’t expect any extras.
WE GROSSLY OVERPAID for the experience and lodging.
For the Owners:
- if there is a problem, Let your guest know. Horrible first impression to start.
- Send the address not GPS coordinates.
Have a book in unit with wifi, garbage, parking, maintenance, ski locker and check-out info so we don’t have to call/text around to find it.
The positives – Nice location and easy access to lifts. Maintenance (Josh and Tabby) saved our trip as otherwise one room wouldn’t have been livable.
Bedrooms were decent. Good mattresses.
Come expecting a 3 star and to be cramped.
