Lovely accommodations in Park Point. So quiet and peaceful, very clean and relaxing with everything we need. Highly recommend! Easy walk to Canal Park and the fireworks on the beach were spectacular!!

Great location

This is a great property and is a great location near canal park. It is very quiet and great views sitting out on the small deck. The owners live below but we never heard them once. This apartment had everything we needed and it was very clean.. would definitely stay again.

Perfect weekend in Duluth

We had a great family weekend in Duluth, this studio is very clean and comfortable. Great location for walks on the beach or going out in Canal Park. Will definitely come back!

Perfect family getaway!

We loved our stay here! The attention to detail made it that much better traveling with young kids - room darkening shades, black out curtains, dimming main area lights, games, bath toys, etc. Very clean, quiet and beautiful gardens. Great location with so much to do and explore!

Great rental in Duluth!

The property was great for our family’s weekend stay. It met all our needs and was a comfortable place to return to and relax. Very clean and well-furnished. The EV charger in the parking stall was a very convenient extra amenity! We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay!

This was our second summer of bringing our young kids up to get a taste of Duluth and Lake Superior and this was the absolute perfect spot! A block to the beach and close to Canal Park - can't be beat! Space was pristine and welcoming and more amenities than we even needed - highly recommend!

Duluth getaway

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend exploring Duluth and the north shore. We loved staying at Park Point! The location was great and easy access to everything we wanted to do and see in the area. It was exceptionally clean and we felt right at home. Would highly recommend!

Pleasant time with gracious hosts

Our visit to Duluth was enhanced with our choice of staying in this cute efficient unit. Near to all points of interest yet private and secure. A great benefit was the EV charger and a easy walk to the beach.

Park Haven

Our second year staying here. Comfortable, clean,great place to come back to after hiking or walking beach. Owners are easy to work with and very welcoming. Love the little patio outside door, perfect for evening wine and watching the harbor. Thank you Tom and Karleen, hope to return again.

Great Park Point Apartment!

Our family of three stayed for an extended weekend in August, and it was a perfect spot for us. We felt very comfortable at the property and loved the walkable location with close access to the beach and Duluth downtown. It's a beautiful and thoughtfully appointed apartment with lovely hosts!

Quiet and cozy weekend

We stayed at Park Point Getaway on a cold January weekend to watch some hockey and relax. The property was very welcoming and exactly as listed. Very cozy, clean, and quiet.

Vous êtes reçu par Tom or Karleen Tjepkema

We hosted guests at Garden House Bed and Breakfast in Port Wing, WI for 25 years, as an encore career before deciding to move back to Duluth to be closer to the family we raised here. We walk, bike, and ski and both play instruments in local wind orchestras. Karleen is a fiber and watercolor artist and is in the process of turning this house and yard into a home. At our Bed and Breakfast Tom was in charge of talking and enjoys visiting with our guests.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We were looking for newer construction with room for Karleen's piano and Tom's tuba and a small yard. The design of the house with its great lighting is ideal for displaying our art collection. The South facing roof allowed us to add Solar Panels in the summer of 2022. We had always loved Park Point. It still feels like traditional neighborhood and the apartment allows us to stay in the hospitality business.

Walk to the Park Point Beach and its sand dunes, one of the largest fresh water beaches in the world while your EV is charging with our complimentary charger. We are located just under a mile from the Canal Park shopping and restaurant area, the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, Festival Par,k and the entrance to the Port of Duluth, an International Shipping port. Ships can be seen entering the port from our the upper deck.
