This super clean second floor Carolina Beach condo is located in a Pleasure Island sweet spot: one minute to the beach accessed by a private boardwalk, a five minute stroll to the Town of Carolina Beach boardwalk, shops, restaurants and bars, and an easy walk to Freeman Park.

Watch the sun come up from the newly renovated deck overlooking the ocean, spend the day on the beach, and then be awed by a beautiful sunset over the canal with the view from the front balcony.

All beds have new memory foam mattresses and rooms are perfectly appointed for your vacation. We provide sanitized linens and make up the beds so you can arrive and start enjoying your vacation right away. The master bedroom with queen bed has a balcony overlooking the canal side and a private full bath. The large second bedroom has a twin over full bunk. A second full bath is right off the main hallway.

The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay. The dining room table has four chairs, plus two bar stools at the kitchen bar.

The bathrooms have just been updated for added comfort. We provide bath and hand towels. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience.

We provide ROKU smart TVs in both bedrooms and in the large living room. There are also games and books for you to enjoy.

There are also four beach chairs and other beach supplies located in locked storage closet in the main parking area. This comes in handy to store items without the need to drag them up the stairs. There is also a shower to rinse off after your day at the beach.

What a wonderful vacation spot!

Our family enjoyed the use of this condo! The ocean views are incredible and it is close to Carolina Beach attractions. The hosts are wonderful! We highly recommend staying here.

Always love being on the ocenfront

The beach was very nice and clean. Loved the balcony patio. Space to sit and enjoy the view, or dine outside. Inside comfortable and well stocked. Went in April, it was quiet and relaxing.

Perfect place to enjoy the ocean view

Great place for a family holiday, I have only positive impressions. Have to admit that Carolina Beach is getting better from year to year, more places has been opened since last year, better service, more new and renovated houses. Planning to came back again next year.

Nice place and location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was clean, well organized, and within walking distance to the boardwalk. Oven and microwave are on the smaller side. Ocean views were good. Beaches were not crowded, and easily accessible. Great view of fireworks on Thursday nights. Many good places to eat within walking distance too. Make sure you hit up Squigley's for some really good ice cream!

Perfect Stay

We had a great time at Carolina Beach in late Dec 23/early Jan 24. We selected this property based on the excellent reviews from others and it lived up to those reviews: extremely clean, great location, beautifully furnished. The owners provided a long list of amenities, which added to our overall satisfaction. The owners were extremely responsive from the time we booked the property through the time we checked out. Five stars across the board and we would not hesitate to book this property again.

Mermaids Retreat is an awesome vacation spot. It is right on the beach and within easy walking distance to the boardwalk and other activities. The condo is very clean and well stocked. There were beach chairs and umbrellas in the storage space. We walked the beach every day. Overall, we had a fantastic week and we will definitely be staying there again.

We have stayed at this condo twice this year and hope to go back around the winter holidays. The condo was immaculate, beautifully furnished and provided a long list of amenities. The condo is perfectly located with a balcony facing the beach - beautiful sunrises! The owners of the property are great to work with and were quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly recommend this property and, as I said, we hope to go there again this year. This is truly a 5 Star property.

Great Property

This was an excellent place to stay for our family of 4 (two adults and two teens). Location is amazing with a private beach access. It’s a short walk to the boardwalk but also no neighboring large hotels so the beach wasn’t ever crowded even though we went at peak season. We also had an excellent view of the Thursday night fireworks from the unit’s balcony. The unit was very clean and well taken care of. It was also ready prior to check in time- and the owners kindly gave us to opportunity to check in early. Neighborhood and condos were also quiet. Will absolutely consider staying here again in the future.

We had a lovely time at Carolina Beach in this very comfortable condominium. The kitchen was very well stocked, beds were very comfortable, all the necessary linens, etc were provided. The amazing view from the living room and the deck was spectacular, perfect for watching the sun rise, looking for dolphins and enjoying the sea breeze. The location is very convenient to necessities, the CB board walk and many restaurants. We also took in the Fort Fisher Aquarium and the ferry to Southport. The owners were lovely and easy to contact.
