Quiet and romantic, this place is ideal to enjoy nature, extraordinary views and privacy.
Our property has forest, fruit trees, orchids, heliconias and trails. The area is ideal for lovers of hiking, tranquility and direct contact with nature.
The apartment has a queen size bed and sofa bed, semi-equipped kitchen, bathroom and a fabulous balcony with a spectacular view of Lake Arenal, Arenal Volcano and all the nature that surrounds us.

Beautiful spot but a little rough

The location is gorgeous, but I never saw the volcano because we had 4 days of clouds and rain. The worst part was walking up from the parking lot. We had to walk through the grass which ended up being mud. Installing pavers would help a lot. I expected a full kitchen but there was no stove only an electric frying pan and a hot plate. The kitchen accessories were minimal. We had no water from 6pm until we checked out the next day, so no shower, toilet flushing or drinking water. They were trying to get it fixed when we left. So the host was dealing with the problem. The place was clean and Sergio was easy to communicate with and helpful.

Gorgeous

This place is a wow. We arrived after dark and all the uncovered windows concerned us a bit but in the morning we realized there was no one to look in and looking out... Amazing! The apartment has a front row view of the lake and volcano, exactly as shown in the pictures. The place did have its quirks, as others have mentioned, but I would stay again. What quirks? Well... Having no closet or hanging rod or hooks ANYWHERE creates a bit of a problem trying to figure out where to put your stuff. We ended up using the kitchen table, chairs and countertop for open suitcases and bathroom belongings with extra bags tossed in a corner (that would be a great place for luggage racks and hooks! Hint hint). Other than the coffee pot we didn't really plan to cook anyway so it wasn't a big deal for us. The apartment is roomy as is the bathroom. No AC but we didn't need it in December. The adventure park up the hill is a nice place to wander for food during the day but other than that driving is a must. We loved the seclusion and driving the curvy country roads. Nothing is terribly far. The rain...well, it is a rain forest... Oh! Sergio is everything others have said. Very knowledgeable and willing to advise to make you trip everything you want it to be!

Well the pictures were definitely deceiving. Look closer the bottom floor is photo shopped. The house doesn’t look like the pictures. The view is amazing but the actually house does not look like the pictures in the add. Sergio was super nice and helpful at checkin. For this price point there is definitely better options else where

The view is absolutely breath-taking!! And the host is super super attentive, and kind. Best host I've encountered hands down. Host recommended local spots to go to eat (including hours of operations, and even what to try) and local activities (like natural hot springs: MUST DO), as well as made us feel safe as we faced a rain storm coming, and going to the stay (host offered to help if we ever needed any car help, directions, etc). This stay is right next door to 'Sky adventures Arenal Park' where you can zipline, and hike. 100/10 recommend, I would deff come back!

Hilltop Oasis

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! There were some ants as to be expected given the location but overall the place was very clean and tidy. The bed was fairly comfortable and the large fan made it easy to sleep with no A/C. The covered balcony provided the most spectacular views rain or shine. We were very lucky to see a double rainbow during our stay. We would gladly come back and stay here again!

Incredible view!

The views in this treehouse apartment were unreal! We went zip lining 100 feet from the apartment! It was clean and very comfortable. Sergio was such a help and so kind. A great jumping off point for exploration. Try to arrive during the day, the roads are quite twisty and navigation a bit spotty as you get close. Dr

Great Spot

Amazing views - really great spot for a getaway. Everything else (communication, check in etc) was great except: the bed frame is nasty. It is super dusty and frankly, pretty dirty. Desperately needs a scrubbing. Will be back, but hopefully will be sleeping on a cleaner bed :)

Spectacular

We thought we would stay in town but this was so much better! We couldn't get enough of the view. Sergio was waiting for us to arrive and was available if we needed anything. The bed is comfortable and we had hot water. Yes, a few ants but you are in the rainforest after all. The owner is doing what they can to control them and a friendly geco was helping.

Studio apartment with beautiful volcano view

This is a small studio apartment close to Lake Arenal and with an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano. The apartment itself has limited facilities -- a very small but adequate kitchenette, a fold-out sofa for extra guests, no dresser or closet to store belongings. The main attraction is the location and view, which are accurately shown in the listing. The property manager was also very helpful in recommending interesting hikes in the nearby parks and reserves.

Großartiger Blick, überholungsbedürftig!

Toller Raum mit großartigem Blick. Obwohl wir nicht empfindlich sind, leider sehr schmutzig. Die Küche war gar nicht ausgestattet - noch nicht einmal ein Topf. Die Pfanne war so verbogen, dass sie nicht auf die Herdplatte passte und außerdem voller Scheißköddelchen. Das wäre mit wenig Aufwand zu beheben. Dann wäre es ein kleines Paradies.

Awesome View House

Our stay was all we had hoped for. An expansive view of Lake Arenal with a steam venting volcano to the side. Just a 5 minute walk to a premium zip line attraction. We saw Tucans, wild turkey birds, dozens of other colorful species and Kuwaitis from our deck. At times you could hear howler monkeys in the distance. Our host was very attentive and helpful with local advice. It was a natural house with no AC. You definitely had a feel for Costa Rica experience. We will be back.

The Best Experience in this Arenal Paradise

When we arrived Sergio greeted us right away and showed us to the property. It was exactly what we wanted and more. It was even more beautiful in person, with breathtaking views of the mountain & lake. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was really lovely - perfect for us. We didn’t even need to leave to see tons of wildlife. Sergio pointed out toucans & howler monkeys, and we saw many other birds, like parakeets, keel billed & chestnut mandible toucans, woodpeckers, parulas, hummingbirds, tanagers, & chachalacas. The garden was beautifully manicured and a lovely place to relax and watch paradise unfold around you. The balcony was a great spot to relax also. Wake up between 5-6am to see a stunning sunrise over the volcano and watch the wildlife. It was also the perfect spot for a gorgeous sunset - grab dinner to go and enjoy dinner & sunset from there! It’s not far from town, 20-25 minutes and the drive is a pretty one. It is also directly next to Sky Adventure which is convenient if that’s on your itinerary. There are more restaurants on the other side as well. Sergio had great recommendations. He directed us to a nice breakfast spot Chill Out, a 1 minute walk that also has beautiful views. He told us what activities were best in the area and told us the perfect places to spot sloths, and we saw one! We fell in love with this place and will absolutely return for our next visit to Costa Rica! Thanks to Sergio for being an excellent host!!!

Can't Beat the View

We had a great time in Arenal! This property had the best view I could have hoped for. Finding the place was a struggle, though. It seemed like it should have been easy since it sits at the opening of a large adventure park - but it wasn't easy at all. We were lucky that we had plenty of daylight to find it - finding it at night would have been an even bigger struggle. Sergio, the property manager, was friendly and easy to reach via WhatsApp. It was overall an amazing trip and I will stay here again the next time I'm in Arenal.

Beautiful & Peaceful

The location is quiet and peaceful despite being near a zip line facility, and the view is spectacular. The unit itself could use a little maintenance (entry door, lamps), and the amenities are sparse. I wouldn’t recommend it for a long stay, but for a couple days it’s worth it for the view.

What a view!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing plus there were plenty of birds to enjoy just out the window (even Toucans). It was a great location for things we wanted to do in the area like zip line and hike. The only issue we had was no communication about check-in. The person listed on the listing was not responding to messages so I tried text, WhatsApp, and more messages and finally heard from them the day of. We were pretty nervous that we were going to show up and have no place to stay. He directed us to someone else and then all was good. It all worked out in the end but hopefully the listing is updated with proper contacts. The only other thing I would recommend is including a broom or something to use to clean up. We were there enough days that we would have liked to be able to clean the floor (especially near the door and the bathroom). You may also want to bring an extra towel if you are staying for more than a few days. There was one per person and with the humidity, that one towel never fully dries. We would certainly stay there again for a short stay in the area.
