Lake front, 4 miles from OAJ airport. RVs welcome. Only 2 neighbors, no noise.
Why rent a hotel when you can view the lake from our couch? It's private, and close to the airport and Camp Lejeune. No smoking. Endless hot water system. Bedroom and shower upstairs. Shower just installed this year, 2 shower heads. Half bath and washer/dryer downstairs. Kitchen renovated this year. 4 miles from OAJ airport. 18 miles to Camp Lejeune main gate. 40 miles to Topsail beaches. 48 miles to Emerald Isle beaches. No water access to Catherine's Lake, it is for looks only. No fishing/swimming/kayaking. My property line stops before the waterline. You won't be disappointed in the view or privacy! Pull your boat, plenty of parking. RVs welcome, but no septic hookup, only water access via waterhose (treatef by Rainsoft water softner).
We really enjoyed the stay and the convenience of being so close to our son and his wife. We were less than 3 min from his home and able to hang out with them and still have our own private place to sleep. We felt at home and comfortable and will book again if it's available.
Everything I needed for my stay. Especially liked the shower! Comfy furniture with view of the water when the door is open. Also handy to have phone chargers upstairs and down. Easy drive to North Topsail Beach too. Thank you for quick replies. Cute place!
The lake house is so cozy and relaxing! The bed is Soooooooft like a feather. And the double shower worked wonders on my back. Traci was super attentive and understanding when I couldn't figure out the keypad. Amazing home and host! Definitely going back!
Feels like home - very welcoming, clean and comfortable with a serene view!
Owner very sweet and accommodating. Had a problem with the electronic lock on arrival but Traci was immediately responsive and had a fast solution.
If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind. This is it!! THE HOME, THE LAKE AND THE HOST all worked together to make our stay totally enjoyable. Any problems we encountered...Traci was sure to quickly and graciously resolve.
We enjoy saltwater fishing, and have a huge mount of a sailfish in the living room. You will notice a nautical theme, tons of shells. Please don't take any :-) go the our favorite beach, Topsail, and find a plenty of your own. I love birds and butterflies, so you'll see lots of those in the house. We have many geese and birds that will come up to you because I feed them scratch grains all the time. In May, I've seen so many baby geese and their fluffy butts are so cute.
Rainsoft Water softener and a tap on the sink for reverse osmosis drinking water. Endless hot water, so take as long of a shower as you like, and big enough for two people with each their own shower head and temperature controls.
