Several cockroaches were spotted at this location. When I notified host she was aware of that issue. Also, there was no toilet paper and there were items left from the previous guest some of those items being illegal drugs.
This property perfectly suited my needs. I moved my daughter into Oklahoma City University and it was very close to campus. The neighborhood felt safe and the apartment was clean and comfortable.
Overall the stay was fine for my husbands needs He was in town visiting family. He said the mattress was squeaky and needs updating. The TV service was sketchy at best and not reliable. There was a fight in the parking lot nearby that was quite loud one night. I would recommend this place to stay; it was central to things in town and covered my basic needs.
Our stay was for a weekend visit for a wedding. The place was nice and clean, but the bathroom sink didn't have hot water and the bathroom sink cabinet door was loose and close to breaking. Then the batteries to the TV died on our first night and we had such a packed schedule that we didn't have time to go buy any, making the tv useless. The bed was quite uncomfortable, but got the job done, I guess.
This place is adorable, clean, in a good location and very comfortable EXCEPT it is NOT a place that can sleep 2-3 people unless a) two of those people are a couple and/or are comfortable sharing a bed or b) one of those people is a child or adult shorter than 5-feet tall. The double-futon that was advertised as being in the apartment was not there, and in its place was a sofa that was not suitable for an adult to sleep on.
During my stay the system messed up and the owners double booked. I wasnât able to stay in the apartment I rented. No problem.
Only issue was I had a little difficulty getting the host to answer me and had to get the property manager to call her for me.
Unfortunately, when we arrived nothing was cleaned. When the cleaning lady came, she did a great job. However, the bed was an old spring mattress that creaked every time you moved. What was worse was the light across the way was burning out which created a strobe effect all night long! The worse part was the cockroach out of the sink.
Staci was amazing and tried to help us, but not much was open. Itâs hard to find help Iâm sure.
Was surely disappointed in my stay. My sister and I were running behind the check in time by 2 hours and were still called by the host to notify us that our place was forgotten and had not been cleaned! The host said sheâd clean it herself but we still had to wait over another hour for the place to be ready. There were no instructions on which lock to use on the door so the key got stuck in the bottom lock. We called the host to ask for help and the reply was a sigh and excuses. Not great customer service LOL. Luckily, someone helped us out and we were able to get in. Loose shower apparatus and BROKEN bed frame. donât move too much in bed or the headboard will fall on your head in your sleep. Also, the bed was the most creaky and most uncomfortable bed Iâve slept in, in a while. The area seemed okay, other than the half-burnt down and abandoned house behind the building. Also, thereâs a light in the parking lot that flashed thru the blinds all. night. long. This stay convinced me to only stay in hotels from now on.
Great place to stay for two people. My daughter and I stayed there for two nights for OU family weekend. Great location and felt very safe.
Only two negative things to say which are easily fixed:
- need washcloths, more than one bathroom hand towel and dishrag/dish towel
- need more bed pillows than the two supplied and an extra blanket for when it is cooler in the evenings
Otherwise it is a great place and Stacy was very accommodating when I needed to change my dates. :-) We will definitely return.
Building was really cool. Furniture looked nice but felt like it could easily break. Blackout shade is needed in bedroom to make it dark for sleeping. Full length mirror is needed. Room was clean and comfortable and worked well for our stay.
Property looked just like the photos. Clean, nice air conditioning-very cool even in the middle of the summer heat, nice location (Harvey's Bakery within walking distance for a nice morning pastry and coffee). Easy access to downtown-about an $8.00 Uber fare to convention center and Scissortail park. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Thank you!
