Outpost is a Whistler-based vacation rental company offering a unique selection of properties throughout Whistler.

Spring 2025 Roof Replacement Project
The roof replacement project at Tyndall Stone will begin in April 2025 and continue through June 2025. Work will take place daily from 8 AM to 6 PM, excluding weekends.
The pool area will be closed from April 1 until approximately June 15. Summit Lodge, located across Main Street, has generously agreed to allow Tyndall Stone guests to use its pool area during this time, except for May 21 - June 1 when Summit Lodge spa facilities will be closed too.
Access to Tyndall Stone will remain open. For safety reasons, entry will be permitted only through the covered walkway around the North Building.

Located in the heart of the village, above the village stroll, enjoy a coffee and relax on your private balcony while taking in the views of Olympic Plaza and the Blackcomb Mountains! This premium home boasts a fully equipped professional kitchen with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, large TV, in-suite washer/dryer, a communal hot tub and pool, and the new Air Conditioning in the living room.

Whistler Adventure

Great location in the village with views of the mountains and a great balcony perfect for morning coffees and people watching, overlooking the Olympic rings and bandshell. Condo was very clean and modern with all amenities. Everything within walking distance. Definitely on our list for renting again.

Cozy condo in perfect location

The location is amazing..right in the north village and a short walk to the mountain. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The master bed was super comfortable. The loft was okay for my 3 sons, but it was a little tight given that they are young adults. I would say that it sleeps 4 comfortably and 5 if you don't mind sharing a double bunk bed. For children under the age of 4, the loft would not be ideal. The parking garage is very tight. Many with large vehicles could hardly fit, especially with a roof rack. Overall I would still give 5 starts given the value, location and comfortable condo.

Perfect Getaway

The property was clean, well equipped, well designed and had a great view from the balcony. Stairs to the street were right near the door to our unit and the elevators were just down the hall. With only a couple of exceptions it was very quiet and relaxing. The people in the restaurants and shops were some of the kindest people we've ever met. The food and shopping and nearby trails were super convenient. We never used our car during the entire stay.

Updated condo in primo location

Nicely updated, modern condo. The location is great. Once you park, pretty much no need to get back in the car. There's a lovely view of the Olympic rings from the unit. We were a little concerned that it could get noisy at night from nearby bars/restaurants but we didn't have any issues. We had one hiccup with check in - we didn't receive the garage code or door code ahead of time. Thankfully the property managers were responsive and crisis was averted. It was unseasonably warm during our stay. The portable a//c unit was effective at cooling the main living space but not the bedrooms. There were floor fans provided. Sleeping spaces were comfortable. The main bedroom was cozy and had access to a small patio. The window opened but I couldn't take advantage of the cool evening air as the neighbors were hanging out/grilling on their patio & could see directly in the room. The upstairs loft was comfortable according to my daughter. Our only suggestion would be to improve the lighting in the bathroom. It was very dim in there making it necessary to do hair/makeup in the bedroom. All in all, this was a great place to stay and we would definitely return!

Clean, comfortable, gorgeous views and nice location

Everything was as pictured/as described. Beds are very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Felt very spacious for our family of four including two older teenagers. Perfectly clean, modern, updated. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful mountain views out each window. We loved the location, it is a bit of a walk to the gondolas in ski boots, but our kids didn’t complain and it was nice to have home base be in the more peaceful end of the village. Central to tons of shops and restaurants, close to the larger and very nice grocery store. Building was quiet, no issues with noise and the large restaurant across the stroll always turned their music off by a very reasonable hour. Would definitely choose this location again. Thank you.

Absolutely Loved This Unit

If you're looking to be in the middle of the excitement, this is the place. Loved the size of the unit and the luxury that it offered. The balcony was a prime spot for people watching right at the Olympic rings. We were presently surprised to find that the pool was heated. The only real downside is the noise from the pub across the walkway. We appreciated the late check-out. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay!

“Wheelchair accessible” It Was Not

I’m a paraplegic. I rented the condo in Whistler because it was listed as “wheelchair accessible.” I even confirmed that with the property manager before booking. The only door, however, that my wheelchair could fit through was the front door to the condo. That meant that I could not get into the bedroom or the bathroom. I had to have my son bring my narrower chair from all the way across the border (5 hours due to weather and traffic). And, even that chair could only get partially into the bedroom, which made my transfers to the bed pretty dangerous. Also, there was no wheelchair access to the deck as the unit has floorboard heaters in front of the doorways blocking one’s wheels. Needless to say that my stay was not comfortable but it was plenty frustrating. On another note, beware of how noisy the location is. You’ll hear folks talking and laughing late into the night as it is right above the plaza and a pub.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tyndall Stone Lodge. Close to all amenities and the park. There is some construction at the Mole High pub but that didn’t bother us.

Great Location but really Loud

The property was amazing. Beautiful unit, clean, new appliances and TVs. One small issue on check in to complain about was someone was parked in the unit’s stall upon check in and we were given a parking stall in another inconvenient Parkade instead of towing the car. The real issue for renters to be aware of is the noise. Since the location is right across of the brewpub you can hear outside music and noise from patrons until about 11-12pm and then the after bars close it’s really noisy outside and on patios around the unit. Heard people outside and on patios until 3-4 am. Reception doesn’t do anything about noise complaints either. Too bad as otherwise a lovely convenient location.

Beautiful, clean, and well equipped property in a great location. Lots of room for our family of 4. Perfect views of mountain and overlooking the skating area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would easily stay here again. Wish we had more time to try the outdoor hot tub but were too too tired after skiing.

Great Property but purchase trip cancelation insurance.

The condo was really nice and felt much bigger than it was with the high ceilings. It was bright, clean and in a great location. If you are booking future trips throughout COVID I recommend you get cancellation insurance. The resort closed due to COVID and when we tried to cancel our reservation Whistler Ideal (property managment) stated that there were no exceptions to their policy even due to provincial COVID restrictions. Their offer of 15% off future bookings and less than 15% of our money back was rather insulting considering the unforeseen government restrictions announced 2 days before our trip. We will not be booking with Whistler Ideal for any of their properties in the future...which is a shame because the property was a great find.
